Great neighbourhood, really beautiful interiors and great bath products. Everything felt curated. The epitome of a boutique hotel.

The only downside was that we were on the ground floor, and the staff coming in for breakfast preparation at 6am woke me up. Otherwise gorgeous stunning decor, smells amazing.

Absolutely delightful experience. Room was clean and very comfortable, excellent bathroom facilities, and charming breakfast area with a lovely hostess. Our favorite was the little outdoor seating area with garden - so relaxing to start the day sipping coffee and eating delicious cheeses and croissants and prosciutto.

We had a room on the 3rd floor , which restored beautifully. Breakfast every morning was fabulous staff were lovely

Our room was very small hard to walk around the bed to get to bathroom especially at night .. limited space for luggage The lights kept turning on in the middle of the night which was a bit startling at first … got used it after a hit and just got up and turned them off

Ottantotto Hotel is a beautiful property, from the courtyard to the well thought out rooms. Staff were attentive and very helpful, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast was great and room was comfortable, well thought out with attention to detail of the old property. We will be back, grazie Ottantotto!

The interior design is immaculate, every little detail is so cute and fun to discover during your stay. I stayed with my daughter, and we both loved the experience and would recommend and return.

Great location for exploring Florence! Nice rooms in a small boutique hotel, and the garden is a beautiful place to sit and have breakfast in the morning.

Lovely stylish setting in the quieter Oltrarno neighbourhood. Bed was very comfortable. The garden at the back is lovely.

Would be good if there was someone there to greet you on arrival! But they were very helpful over the phone.

The accommodation is amazing. The small hotel is set in an old building, but has been beautifully updated with modern appliances while still maintaining the beauty of the original building. A delicious breakfast is prepared fresh each morning and can be eaten inside or else outside in the quaint little garden out the back of the hotel. The location is in a quieter part of the city, but is just around the corner from Pitti Palace and about a 15 minute walk to the Duomo. There are lots of restaurants nearby and we got some great recommendations from the staff at reception.

The rooms are on the smaller side which can be an issue if you have a lot of luggage. Also the reception is only staffed for a few hours each day, but it is easy enough to figure things out yourself with their instructions.

Room was on the small side and on ground floor next to street. Quiet with windows shut but if you opened windows then it was noisy

One of my favorite places to stay in Italy. The room is clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed the peaceful breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helped us get an early taxi. Everything about this hotel is great. Thank you to the staff for making our stay in Florence a great one. We hope to visit again soon.

Character of the building, friendliness of staff, easy self check-in process.

Being in room 1 on the ground floor a lot of then noise from other guests entering and leaving came through. Only a minor negative.

The hotel is gorgeous! And the people are lovely and flexible. And they remained super professional with a client from hell!! Breakfast is great too and the location very convenient for all Florence highlights.

Ottantotto has done it again! Our second stay was just as wonderful as our first. A gem in the Oltarno (Other side of the Arno) the location is perfect. An attentive staff scheduled taxi rides back to the Stazione and provided a beautiful experience. The colazione is unbelievable, a curated selection of meats, breads, and juice is the highlight for my wife. This is our only choice when in Firenze, we will be back soon hungry for more.

Building was beautiful, so nice and full of character. Great location. The breakfast was the best we had the whole visit in Italy!

We loved the decor of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and we loved the bottle of sparkling wine in the room for my husband's birthday! It was a lovely touch. The staff also recommended a lovely restaurant for our evening meal. The room was very clean and comfortable. The chromotherapy shower was amazing! Being able to have breakfast in the courtyard garden was lovely.

The check in process outside of reception hours was a little difficult as our code didn't work and signal in the hotel wasn't great, but the staff were very patient and helpful and we got it sorted quickly.

We loved the friendly welcome, decor, location was fantastic. Breakfast cooked by the lovely friendly lady was delicious.

This hotel was like an oasis from hectic Florence. As soon as we stepped through the doors we felt calm. The location was good and staff very helpful. The breakfast was very nice. And for travellers with luggage, the lift was very appreciated

Although we knew we had booked a small room, it felt a little claustrophobic for two of us. Next time we will book a bigger room

A great location, beautiful hotel with a really nice breakfast and great staff!

Exceptional design! We booked the Beaton suite for a family of four: two young children and one adults + one senior. the glass stairs were challenging on the first night as you need to climb upstairs for the only bathroom. However, the hotel and suite was oozing with Italian charm and modern aesthetics so we forgot about the stairs quickly.

Breakfast was more than adequate and staff very accomodating. The location was especially fine as the neighborhood was quiet, not at all touristy and we felt very safe walking at all times.

The location was nice because it was very close to attractions while being in a quieter neighbourhood. I can’t fault anything. At times it was a little noisy with other guests, but this is due to it being in an old house and noise will carry. Otherwise it was charming and an oasis in the middle of Florence. The breakfast was wonderful, the room truly unique and it was the best place to stay for my fist experience travelling solo. Thank you so much Ottantotto!! 🥹 I can’t wait to return to stay here, it fits all my aesthetic needs and it was the perfect find. Perfecto!

Super efficient check in process especially if you arrive late. The decor is very unique while keeping the florentine style in tact.

The rooms are gorgeous and the location is so nice. The bed was the comfiest of my trip so far and the atmosphere of the place in general is amazing!!

If you get the front room, it can be noisy with people coming in and out of the property as the door is a heavy (very safe) one - and street noise :)
