Palazzo dei Mori, Venice

The hotel is very well located to reach the most important places in Venice, the room is large and well equipped, the bathroom is clean and comfortable, although really small. But more important, the staff are very efficient, professional, but also very friendly. Nastasia took good care of the room, while Anastasia offered the most welcoming and friendly reception desk services.

Everything really location is closer to everything than it seems Place has amazingly positive vibes and very well kept - cleaning is incredible and staff v v helpful

It was great experience staying in this palazzo. Luxury apartment, fell yourself as a royal. Thank you very much fir hosting us in gorgeous Venice. Very quite area but 10 mil walk to San Marco square. We had private terrace that added even more impressions.

The hotel's location is very central, very close to San Marco Square. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like a real palace. We loved the breakfast. They took excellent care of us. If I ever come to Venice again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

We’ve stayed in quite a few properties, but this one was by far amongst one of our favourites The 2 female staff that we met were warm and friendly and as soon as we arrived greeted us with a drink. The room was beautiful and very clean and the breakfast impeccable. Will definitely be staying here again

The amenities were great, the room was spacious and comfortable, the location is perfect (close to the landmarks but relaxing and quiet). The staff were helpful, friendly and very professional. They gave us great tips to find great spots to eat, things to do and places to visit

Excellent boutique hotel 5 star. Great history. The murano glass chandeliers were amazing. Very friendly staff, just wished we could have stayed longer. We'll be back.

The location is perfect, very comfortable and quiet, make sure to take 5.2 ACTV waterbus to Ospedale from the airport then it’s a short walk (google maps helps a lot). The beds were big and comfortable and the room was very cold (AC was amazing!). I would come back to stay here for the property alone

The food for breakfast could’ve been more accommodating to all but was a decent spread although I couldn’t personally find much

If I could give more than 10 stars out of 10, I would. From the moment we walked into this charming and cozy hotel, it instantly felt like home. We were warmly welcomed by Anastasia, who was not only extremely professional but also incredibly friendly and prompt in all our communications—before and during our stay. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail was truly impressive. The hotel itself is in a perfect location—close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Every staff member we met was smiling, kind, and genuinely happy to help. You could feel the positive energy throughout the whole place. Our entire stay was just amazing, and we are already looking forward to coming back again. Much love, Rana & Emad ❤️

They paid attention to every detail. We thought it would be just another old hotel in Venice but from inside it was luxurious and perfect. Air conditioning was working perfectly and the staff was very kind,hardworking and gentle.

Booked this last minute and it was such a wonderful surprise. Beautiful rooms and lobby with super helpful and friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast including mimosa!

The Palazzo dei Mori was an AMAZING place to stay for my sister and I’s quick trip to Venice! The hosts were extremely kind, personable, and accommodating. They even made us a to-go breakfast box when we had an early train and were leaving before the hotel breakfast service! We also loved the room itself, which was very clean and beautiful. This hotel is located a little far away from the train station, so we would recommend using the Venice vaporetto service to get there (only 9.5 euros), as opposed to a more expensive private water taxi or walking, as we had done.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We traveled with our baby and were pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully the place has been recently renovated or reimagined—it feels fresh and welcoming. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. When we asked for a baby chair, they didn’t have one available yet due to the recent setup, but the staff couldn’t have been more responsive or accommodating. They truly appreciated the feedback, and to our delight, they had a baby seat ready for us the very next day. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The staff and facilities made our stay incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended!

Most beautiful and strategically located within walking distance to most places of interest. Truly a historical site, beautifully renovated and made comfortable and cosy.

It is decorated beautifully and you really feel that you are in a Venetian palazzo. The team are really welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. It is really easy to access from the airport water bus - no bridges to cross between the bus stop and the hotel. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the Grand Canal and the main sights but in a quiet residential area with lots of reasonable but good quality restaurants.

There is nothing to dislike about the property

This property is one of the best hotels I have stayed in all of Italy. The rooms are exceptional, the fact it is a small hotel makes it very personable and quaint. The location is fantastic, it is quiet and peaceful and overall excellent.

The breakfast. The staff treat you like family! They will do almost anything to make your day wonderful! They will assist you with finding you daily destinations. They made calls for us, mainly because our Italian was non existent. We were in Italy for 16 days and stayed in multiple nice locations, but this place was a treat due the personal and friendly staff!

Staff were very helpful, rooms were soundproofed very well and no cars in Venice so everything was super quiet. Also, the breakfast was very good and there were snacks available throughout the day. Location was good, about 15 minutes walk to St. Marks Basilica and 10ish to Rialto Bridge. Located in a quieter neighborhood away from many tourists and tourist attractions. Would highly recommend!

I extended the original stay as such a good hotel in an excellent location with a fabulous breakfast. Beds are super comfortable with luxurious bed linens.

A real palace experience very well decorated. All pieces in this hotel are artwork. Moreover owners are ultimately kind and helpful. All the time they have treats i.e fruits cake, minibar at rooms are full of soft drinks and even with beer

Our time at Palazzo dei Mori was just perfect. The location was ideal, a short walk from all attractions though in a very quiet area. Kind and professional staff was very helpful from day 1. For sure we will return to Palazzo.

My husband and I stayed in the superior double room which was beautiful spacious. and spotless. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The staff could not do enough for you very kind and friendly. The location was in the quieter part of Venice but close enough to take a short walk to everything. Overall we highly recommend this hotel and would most certainly stay here again. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city .

Amazing hotel! It's quite small, only 6 rooms, and you get truly boutique experience. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated; they even have description of all the materials used in a room. Staff is so friendly and attentive. And the neighbourhood is the best - easy way from the airport by ferry, very few tourists, but 10-15 min walk from all the main attractions. A lot of great cafes and bars in 5min walk.

Breakfast is typical European (pastries and sandwiches), but was ok for us.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, taking the time to point out the local highlights. Breakfast was excellent and the fresh coffee superb. Furnishings were stunning with a merano glass chandelier in our room. Room and bathroom were very clean & the free mini bar was very much appreciated!

The location is great, close enough to everything you might want to see, but away from the overcrowding Venice is infamous for. The staff were exceptional, all of the team were so helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The room was large and stylish.

This place is so elegant- you’re basically staying in a beautiful palace. The room was amazing, large and comfortable. There are complimentary tea-making facilities with pastries and fruit in the common area. Wonderfully quiet and serene. The staff are always helpful without being intrusive, and kindly offered me some suggestions for restaurants and activities. The location is convenient if you arrive by Alilaguna boat from the airport. It’s only a 5 or 6 minute walk from the Ospedale stop. The area is quiet and not very touristy, but with some excellent artisan shops and nice reasonably priced restaurants.

I was a little disappointed with the shower, which was quite small considering the size of the room; however, the bathroom was cozy and warm, and immaculately clean. The location meant quite a lot of walking to get to the tourist attractions and museums. I’m pretty sure I’d still be wandering around lost in the labyrinth if it hadn’t been for Google Maps and GPS!😅 Also be aware that the breakfast is basically continental; slices of ham and cheese and boiled eggs are available but don’t expect an English breakfast. That said, the pastry and croissants are incredible!

An absolute gem in Venice! The hotel couldn’t be more perfect for a weekend escape. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms are nice and cozy and a lot bigger than most hotels in Venice, even the room cleaning was the most thorough we had in years. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect stay in Venice!

We felt the Pallazo dei Mori was an excellent hotel, tucked away in the Castello district, five minutes walk from the Ospedale vaporetto station or 15 minutes walk from the Doge's palace, if you don't get lost. The staff could not have been more welcoming and volunteered many tips on how to get the best out of the visit. The hotel itself, though small, is beautiful and we would certainly use it again.
