It’s unique and iconic and a place of quiet in the city.

Most of the staff were amazing, but some didn’t make you feel comfortable or meet the 5 star expectations. Breakfast was chaotic. No where to relax in the sun.

The environment and atmosphere was excellent. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were incredible attentive to everything guests needed, including during emergencies.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, clean hotel

The hotel’s architecture is stunning and the location excellent — right in the heart of Singapore with easy access to Chinatown and Clarke Quay. The greenery around the building really makes an impression. However, some practical aspects could be improved. The pool area is beautifully designed but not very functional: there’s no jacuzzi, and because of the building’s layout, the infinity pool gets little sun, making the water quite cold. There were also too few lounge chairs, and the pool towels were unusually long but narrow, which felt awkward to use. Inside, my room felt dark with a lot of wasted space that could have been better planned for comfort or storage. Overall, a visually impressive hotel with an eco-luxury vibe, but the design sometimes prioritises aesthetics over comfort.

Staff amenities and location were outstanding

Booked urban room which was lovely. Just have a thing for heights so the open walk way to the room had me gripping hand rail a couple of times. No fault of the property

Property was is a great location, pool was beautiful and staff were incredibly helpful.

As a family of three with a 5 month old the room as a little small once the cot was in. We had no wear to put our bags that wasn’t directly in our way. However if we were just a couple the room would have been a very comfortable size.

The glass wall between the shower and toilet too close, we hit it every time we used the facilities.

The bed was very comfortable and we loved the filtered water at the sink. Great shower too. Loved the area, close to the MRT and Chinatown, and the building was gorgeous...reminiscent of a rainforest, with an infinity pool as well (although it was small).

The lighting in the room was too dim...made it difficult in the vanity area as even with a magnification mirror, it was hard to put on makeup. Also, the air conditioner seemed to have a mind of its own and was difficult to modulate. It seemed there were a lot of new employees on their first day who admitted they didn't know what to do, so it begs the question of what kind of training they get...it worked out in the end but wasn't a slick service as the environment exuded.

Everything was exceptional and perfect. Starting from the check-in staff, concierge, all the other personnel, through cleanliness of the room, hotel design and ending at delicious breakfast.

The building with all the green terraces is wonderful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the (very large) beds are very comfortable. We also enjoyed the wide selection at breakfast. We would like to thank Amy of the breakfast staff in particular for being so attentive.

In comparison to the extremely large bed, the room felt a little small.

- We loved everything about the hotel! - The staff cannot do enough for you, they are so pleasant and polite and we felt very special from the moment we checked in. - The breakfast was incredible, there is almost too much to choose from and everything available was delicious. - Location is central to everything as we like walking and were able to get everywhere on foot easily. - We were very happy they allowed us to keep our room on for a late check out of which we were happy to pay for - it allowed us to enjoy a full day in the city before a late night flight.

the lighting in the room - dull down lights that didn't illuminate anything. The whole 'green' aspect that they pushed. The only place that it seemed to be of importance was in the room!!! Also the continued dance party music everywhere at all times of the day!! Got a bit much after a while,

Great location, in the middle of everything, the room design is great, the place is clean, comfortable, the view is nice as well, the bar, the restaurant. The hotel from the outside looks stunning. I'd say that is the most outstanding after MBS as architecture, and the greenery makes it feel like paradise. Great for business and kids family trips too.

The only thing I would change, I'd make the water in the pool slightly warmer. I dislike getting into cold water and this time I didn't gather the courage to enter the pool.

That great Lady at the Bar who also served at the breakfast was simply the most iconic Person we met in Singapur. We really enjoyed the Buffet for breakfast and singapur sling at the lime bar

Property was good but customer service very very poor

Great location, nice overall design and good atmosphere.

Our room was not in a perfect maintained condition. The floor for example had clearly looked better a few years ago. Scratches on electrical sockets, etc - all showed that maintenance hasn’t kept up with the high expectations. The breakfast was a clear downside. Variety and quality was below what is excepted for a hotel of such a price range in Singapore. The same goes for room service food. There are definitely better options in Singapore in this price range. Sadly we won’t come again to this hotel.

Breakfast could have had move variety

The building itself is amazing and is the key selling point. Beautiful plants everywhere. The infinity pool is very nice. The staff was super courteous. The location right next to the mall and the Chinatown MRT was very practical.

The room looked bigger and more interesting in the photos than in reality, which makes the price point a bit more difficult to balance out. The "city view" was actually sideways so you could see other rooms on one side and some park on the other side. But the view was not much to see, sadly. The toilet didn't have a bidet, which is sad, but also that doesn't seem to be that common in Singapore in contrast to other locations in Asia. The pool also seemed bigger in the pictures, but it's rather small if it's on a day with a lot of children (not the most relaxing).

We enjoyed the view of the city from our room and the swimming pool very much.

Beautiful and modern hotel. All the staff were amazing, very polite and helpful. Hotel restaurant had gorgeous food. The pool had such stunning views, it was never too busy that you can’t get a sunbed or cabana. Drinks and food can be ordered to the pool deck. The suite room was very spacious and comfortable. It is very close to the metro and a 5 minute walk from Clarke Quay. Taxi trips were super easy from this location, a great base to explore Singapore.

Stunning architecture and like living in green nature

The staff went beyond any expectation we had. All were more than helpful and you could sense the sincerity to make things right. The room was exceptionally quiet.

I liked everything

Location is very good, rooms are clean and well maintained.

Breakfast buffet isn't great, few options just spread out over a huge room to create the impression that it's a big buffet. Very, very bad coffee from a machine. Facilities also not great - no comfortable lobby, coffee area to spend a couple of hours when waiting etc.

Beautiful hotel would highly recommend. We checked out but they gave us access to the pool area and showers which was so refreshing after the heat.

Beautiful facility, but there was some construction going on by the pool.. excellent location close to Chinatown and Lau pal (hawker) The staff was really nice and I like that they had bikes available for use.

No hot tub and pool is kind of cold. It would be nice if they had free coffee available in the lobby easily.

Our stay was perfect. The room, hotel and facilities were exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you could need. The business centre was under renovation but my husband was able to use the other one on level 16. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely stunning hotel! The plants were fabulous.

Toilet in 1033 smelt like urine.

Breakfast had many choices which was excellent. The room was beautiful and had wonderful views of the city which we really enjoyed. The hotel was within close proximity to MRT which was very convenient for us as we used it daily to do sightseeing.

We have not been able to use the pool’s amenities (lounge chairs or the booths), which was a little disappointing. It turned us off from using the pool again, which would have been nice given the hot and humid days.

Gorgeous building and lovely staff- room was very comfy

Beautiful architecture the overflowing greenery and the streamlined technology throughout the Hotel. There were works being carried out at the pool but Singapore is busy city.

The restaurant is amazing, world class food and every option under the sun. Seafood, beautiful meat, salads, many cuisines. Staff are great, facilities are great, everything was clean and classy, and the location was great. A beautiful building.

The only very very minor area of improvement (if any) would be if the pool area was orientated to be more sun facing, and there was more food and drink service given how amazing the food is at the hotel, however caveat that by saying we were with children so as adults only it would have been great. We still really enjoyed the pool area and had no complaints, only minor comments about what would make it perfect.
