Great garden and pool, grey water usage, restaurant, reception staff.

Got a bed bug Staff sometimes wanted just to sell me something without listening to my needs

Location was great, views were amazing (we were on the 16th floor), Great hawker food court around the corner of the hotel My husband and I had a great massage, and we had breakfast once and the variety of food choices were incredible. Nice modern rooms and bath. Staff was very friendly and nice.

The pool was a bit on the small side. It was very hot when we visited and the pool was full of families. We even tried going early one morning and once again, it was very busy. If you are looing for a hotel pool to lounge at, this would not be my recommendation.

It was a really lovely stay, staff were just fantastic, service was amazing. The club access was great, could’ve been a bit more choice in relation to drinks but the views are just lovely. Pool area is nice, not nearly enough places to sit but really refreshing and a great place to meet new people. Room was extremely comfortable and well fitted out. Loved our stay.

It was our choice to stay in the city this time, rather than at the marina. China Town and Clarke Key are very close but everything marina side is a fair distance and required the MRT. Having said that, the MRT is so easy and very clean.

The room looks new even though the hotel has been around for 12 years. The room also comes with a sofa and a work table in addition to the king bed. The bath tub is also a great way to relax with the salt bath. Also 5 min walk to Chinatown Point or The Central for shopping.

Everything has met my requirements.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room wasnt ready when we arrived however they gave us free drinks at the bar and we only had to wait maybe 30 to 45 minutes. Breakfast was delicious. In a great location. Sad we were only there for one night. Also loved the nature walk on 5th floor. Beautiful place to take pictures at night.

Explanation on how the lights work. It was a bit of mystery at first until the luggage person showed us how to cut them on.

The room was generally comfortable, but the lighting was quite dim, especially in the evening. It would be great if the hotel could improve the brightness of the lights to make the room more functional and welcoming

Contemporary building with luxurious and spacious rooms. The pool area was great and a peaceful haven from the noise and heat of the city. All staff were very helpful.

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 7pm. We were ‘upgraded’ to another room, but it was all a bit strange as it looked exactly like the room we had booked. Perhaps best to book direct with this hotel rather than through Booking.com to avoid confusion.

Confusion over making up the room. Given the cost of this hotel it seemed odd to have to request. Swimming pool was gorgeous but too busy with young families for a couple to enjoy.

The location is near to most of the places. Is very comfortable. Very nice hospitality. Love the greenery of the building.

We asked for 2 rooms to be adjoining with kids, which could not be accommodated. Mentioned during the booking that it is my birthday, but seems it was not noted. Also replies are not through bookings.com but by email , not timely.

Very nice hotel, excellent service and friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was yummy, with lots of choices. Amazing pool and view. The location near Chinatown is excellent. We stayed there 5 nights and enjoyed every single day.

We don’t have any serious complaints. Just some small details. The fridge in the room was not cooling properly and the room did not have lots of space for luggage.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The room was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and had an excellent view of the garden and pool level. Pool was wonderful and beautiful. Location was fantastic - very close to two MRT stations and Clarke Quay. Service from staff was amazing!

Beautiful ambience and helpful staff. Club lounge was fantastic. Access to the spa area after checkout to shower before our evening flight was a marvelous unexpected bonus.

The hotel is simply stunning. Incredible views from the rooms and one of the quietest hotels we have stayed in. Great location to explore Chinatown or jump on the MRT. Would have loved to stay longer.

Check in was very friendly but took an inordinately long time and there were mixups with our bags and key cards not working initially. The pool is beautiful but felt too small for the number of guests; when we wanted to use it it was always full of toddlers on floatie devices. It would be worth exploring the option of a larger, adults-only pool in areas where space is not fully utilised.

Check in. I filled all required info for spending check in, but on arrival I did everything again and it takes lot of time unfortunately

Excellent location, you can walk to many sights and there is two train stations on different lines a few minutes walk. The architecture of the building is beautiful, I haven't stayed in hotel quite like it. The grand ceilings in the rooms make them feel more spacious and the amount of natural light is nice. The pool is beautiful and the view from the pool is stunning. The staff were very attentive and helpful. There is a steam room in the bathrooms of the pool area and showers. We had a very late departure flight and were able to use the facilities after check-out until we had to leave which was very handy and gave us a space to relax before the flight home.

There isn't a lot of lounges by the pool so that can be tricky. I would also like the temperature of the pool to be slightly warmer, I found it a bit cold, there is a spa section to the pool however it isn't heated. While the breakfast buffet had a large variety of food I felt the temperature, taste and quality of the food was disappointing to me. I also expected to have tropical fruits on offer everyday. I expected more considering the nightly cost of the hotel.

Best stay we’ve had in Singapore. Would definitely book again and the staff were exceptional.

Our toilet stunk of rotting sewerage. The tiles were constantly wet which was due to a leak underneath. My partner is a plumber and assessed the situation. We arrived late and were so jet lagged we couldn’t be bothered to complain and move but this needs to be fixed.

Great, if slightly small, room, amazing breakfast, most beautiful hotel grounds and facilities. Staff was helpful and friendly. Overall nothing could have been better during our stay. Amazing place. Will definitely stay again!

Our stay at Pickering was superb, from the moment we arrived, stay were enthusiastic and attentive. We were assigned side by side rooms with beautiful garden city views, our check in experience was fantastic. Rooms were clean and the daily housekeeping service was fabulous and meticulous. Breakfast was amazing, staff were so efficient getting tables turned over, food selection was incredible and delicious. The whole hotel was a sanctuary, beautiful scent on entering and cool temps in fore, of and the welcome signature lemonade! Wonderful hotel, will stay again.

I would improve breakfast. Fresh and better quality of bread would be appreciated. Salad bar was same every day not big selection of cheese. For vegetarians not great choice.

Everything about the hotel is plain perfect. The rooms are beautiful and quiet. The breakfast is perfect. The staff are outstanding. The design is well thought through. The pool area only had sun until noon but it's beautiful.

Nothing to dislike. It's expensive but it's also one of the nicest hotels you'll find in the city.
