Kimpton Hotel Palomar, Phoenix

The staff was wonderful - friendly and very responsive.

Lack of cleanliness. Even after our room was serviced you could see it wasn’t clean - hair left in shower, trash not emptied and used q-tip sat in middle of hallway just outside the elevator for several days.

The Bed was very comfortable towel very soft. i like the variety of different pillows

Close to baseball stadium and fun downtown vibe. Easy parking. Nice on-site bar. Pool and deck were amazing on rooftop.

there were so many amenities and it’s very central so there are many things to do around.

everything was perfect the only thing was that when we arrived to the room, two of the pillows had hairs on them :(

It’s close to Chase stadium and abundant night life.

We paid for a suite with a view and the windows were extremely dirty. Kinda disappointed with that.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Right across the street from concert venue.

Rooftop bar needs more food options

It did smell like someone had smoked in the room before us but I understand that is not on the staff

Everything was in walking distance and frys supermarket was right next door. It was great. The bluehound restaurants ceviche was excellent. Great service

Great location, great staff, easy check-in and out process. Clean, spacious room.

Price was a little high for our liking.

LOCATION WAS PREFECT, the pool was great.

Laking in simple amenities for more a one day stay, no fridge, coffeemaker, microwave or comfortable seating.

The reception agent was very helpful and accommodating. We had a little issue locating our reservation but the agent persevered and in the end, all was fine. This could have been different as the property was booked and we would have potentially been on the street during a very busy weekend in PXO! Our room was fine, a bit dated but comfortable. The bathroom was the best part! Nicely appointed and plenty of fluffy towels. Too, the refrigerator encased in a cabinet was a great touch! At the end of our first day, the trip to the bar was a treat…great bartender who knew what an Affogato was!

The couch in our room could use some love as could the chairs around the table. Reupholstering could do the trick here.

I liked that the property was in the heart of downtown close to restaurants, bars and nightclubs. I also liked the Eden rooftop bar and the pool.

I didn’t really like my view, I was hoping for a better view of the mountains. Instead I was looking at an empty parking lot. I also didn’t like that the room didn’t have a microwave, water bottles, coffee machine, disposable cups. The bare necessities were missing.

Location is amazing, pool is the best in the area. Blue Hound staff were exceptional and friendly.

Cleaning staff did not clean our room daily. Their was dust on the lamps and the phone. My mother and son suffer from asthma.

Walking distance to show venue. Great restaurant and slept well in the comfy bed.

Bought parking with our show tickets at 331 E Jefferson and should have used the hotel parking instead. Was way out of our way.

The furniture in my room was torn and old ..

I had drinks at the bar at the hotel and the drinks were delicious.

However the drinks were extremely overpriced and the ice left little room for the actual alcohol.

The pillows were not good :( Need better pillows.

In the heart of Phoenix, this hotel had a perfect location that is close to main event centers, bars and restaurants. Very expensive for the quality. Rooms ok but not “wow”. Front desk staff and valet service was superb.

Overall hotel a little blah-decor not great and room comfort could have been better.

The location was perfect…right across the street from the venue. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Liked everything about this place.

GREAT LOCATION! The Breakfast Club is right downstairs and is excellent. Comfortable beds and linen. Great artwork. Cool and hip place all around. Staff was Excellent!

They made a preventive charge in my credit card and I paid in cash but did not receive any confirmation of payment or credit card reimbursement.

The room was not made a single time in 5 days I was there.

The location of the hotel is close to chase field and lots of restaurants.

As with most cities, there is a major homelessness issue. Although not the fault of the hotel, the surrounding area was quite dirty and smelly and there were often unsavory characters hanging around. We found the odor on some of the streets to be too strong to walk down.

I would’ve liked to be able to make tea or coffee in the rom.:)

Loved the pool/bar area. Room was fine. A chair was a bit beaten up but everything else was great. Staff sent a few texts to find out how things were going. When I had questions, they texted back responses immediately.

Only upon checking out did I find out if you charge anything to your room, they'll deduct $10 from that bill. Not sure if that's a daily thing or what. We had only charged one small item.

Location was good. Coffee and wine appreciated.

Staff was rude. Have stayed at other Kimptons and always loved the service/staff. My expectations were not met at this location. Room only cleaned once. Had to ask multiple people for clean towels & to have the room cleaned. No one smiled/offered service.

Room was comfortable and well sized. Staff was helpful and courteous and did a great job.

The daily additional charge for amenities was not well explained and I received no value from it.

Great room, great restaurants nearby and venue was across the street.

Proximity to events.

Really nice place with gorgeous roof top pool and access to amazing fitness centre! Near lots of good places for food and staff were lovely 😊

The front desk staff, especially Dylan and Molly were exceptional. Very accommodating and friendly. I also appreciated the valet staff, specifically Adrian and Sam, did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed working with Sal in the catering department. Overall, my coworkers and I agreed that we would definitely consider returning to the Palomar Phoenix for any future business.

The business center didn't have enough chairs and outlets, but the front desk accommodated us very well. When we ordered food from Blue Hound, only once was it delivered to the business center room.

Eden bartender took our order but it took him 10 minutes to make 4 drinks during happy hour. It wasn't busy, he just had to try everyone's drinks with a new straw everytime. If it didn't taste right he would add a little but more. He didn't charge us happy hour price either. Then went back to eden for 1 drinks KS before heading to bed and it was the same bartender. I ordered 2 cocktails and 4 waters. 15 minutes later we received our drinks, he still was tasting everyone's drinks. Got 2 cocktails and no waters. We said whatever because the other 2 went up to the room to grab water.

Really enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool.
