Very small room

It’s a small boutique hotel in the coolest neighborhood in Paris. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. They offer a simple breakfast each morning and had great advice/input about activities to partake in during a stay. The room is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It’s not a luxury hotel but great value and was wonderful with the family.

Comfy bed, good shower, clean bathroom and room. Nice shampoo and body wash.

We could hear the people in the room next to us and they could presumably hear us.

Lovely sized room overlooking the canal, clean and good facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Simple croissant breakfast, with great coffee and freshly squeezed juice.

Some music kept us up into the early on the first night but completely silent on the second night

Loved the location and the staff! The bed was also super comfy. We didn’t have a toothpaste but the staff was kind enough to provide us after we asked. We only stayed one night and it was decent; would be hard with a suitcase as the room was quite small. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Would stay here again for a short trip! Thanks

Wifi wasn’t the most reliable

So much fun; quirky in a good way! Our room was very small but worked out well for us. Best shower and linens! Loved the location on the Canal.

Location was very Parisian and a proper experience of people, not at all touristy. Breakfast was spartan, but aren't all French breakfasts? Staff were friendly and helpful.

We were in one of the largest rooms on the 5th floor and so were rewarded with fantastic views. The room looked modern and nicely furnished.

The fact that the room was really cold and the nice interior couldn’t be enjoyed cus the low temperature was not inviting to do so. Even though we complained at the front desk but nothing

Great hosts, very helpful and good recommendation for dinner nearby. Liked the addition of interesting books in the room and a feeling of being in a cultural area.Good location for Gare de L'Est across the park. Simple breakfast.

They're planning to improve the communal area/entrance downstairs which will be good.

Great location, friendly staff

Nothing really - cosy, but that’s pretty normal for central Paris

The hotel was in the perfect location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby and in a decent walking distance from the Eurostar. The staff were also really helpful and allowed us to drop our bags as we'd arrived earlier than our checkin.

It would have been nice to have a wider range of breakfast options.

Fantastic location overlooking the canal with huge choice of restaurants, cafes and bars in the area. Very comfortable bed and good to be able to open windows. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Although we were in a suite of 35m it was an unusual layout and not great access to either side of the bed. There could have been some more options for breakfast.

Rooms were small.

The communication was easy with quick response as we came in late. Lea who greeted us on our arrival was extremely friendly and lovely to talk to. The bed was comfortable and although the room was super small typical of most places in Paris it was cute and had everything we needed including a small fridge. The breakfast was a bonus. Maxine was gracious and managed to have them hold off the noise of the drilling and construction outside so we could eat without the noise. There were many restaurants and cafe's nearby to discover and had we more time we could have tried more. If there been no construction and no graffiti I would have given this a 10/10 Now that I'm familiar with the area I wouldn't hesitate to rebook again at this location.

I had a relative stay here a few years ago and went on her referral as she loved everything about it. We were extremely disappointed to see and hear all the construction right in front. Had we known in advance we would have changed our stay to another property. It would have been nice to enjoy having the windows open but the noise even through the closed windows was insanely loud. The graffiti around this property and area was appalling. I realize that this is not their fault however for our first impression of Paris we were very taken back and were embarrassed to show any photos to friends of the area. Arriving late in the nite also concerned us thinking we were in an unsafe area.

The staff were very helpful. Room had alameda titles.

Reception is very pokey and the room extremely small which is what I expected. We were only there overnight. The staff made up for the small room. I fortunately there were road works right outside the hotel which made it very noisy during the day.

Very convenient location and just 2 stops by Metro from the Eurostar station in Paris. There are many restaurants and cafes around the hotel.

Our room was facing the very busy road. It wasn’t easy to sleep well because of the noise by walking people until late night.

Bed was so comfortable and the location was close to many train stations!

Room was so small. AC wouldn’t temp adjust so it was always so cold or too hot if it was off

Location The staff were really great and helpful esp the English man who was there most days of our stay. Could there be an automated front door entry as it was annoying disturbing the staff each time , but they were always fast to let us in.

It’s tired AC was not functioning properly.

Great location! Good breakfast included. Bathroom renovated, nice view to the canal. Good size elevator. Would definstay there again!

Small room.

Lovely staff, fantastic location, comfortable rooms.

Although the room was small it was v clean, compact &had a lovely outlook over the canal St Martin(which we also took a 2hr cruise along to the Seine) -fab. The bathroom was small but had a fantastic shower pressure &v clean .The bed & pillows were comfortable .The curtains blocked light &although a busy street it was never too noisy. Chaim on the front desk was fabulous ¬hing was too much of a problem & he happily & informatively answered all our questions.All the staff were v good. The metro was not too far & there were lots of lovely cafes to eat in.around us .

The television was not connected & even though we wouldn't have used it a lot, it would have been nice to catch up on world news as cable television was advertised or just to chill out with a movie after walking Paris all day .Disappointing as we weren't told this on check in or given an alternative room

Fantastic - well designed and very tastefully decorated room in a great location. The room was well equipped with good storage. The third bed was very makeshift but okay for a small child.

The room was very noisy esp. during the summer weekend, being on the canal. And the shower leaked badly, most likely a design fault.

Great view! Just sitting by the window and watching all the action at the Canal is enough. Beautiful room, as shown in the picture, friendly and helpful staff, a nice small bar and great breakfast. The area is amazing, full of nice cafes and restaurants and walking distance to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord.

On a warm summer's night, expect it to be noisy from the people gathering at the banks of the Canal St Martin but that's part of the charm. They provide ear plugs, and it isn't a problem with sleeping but if you are looking for something very quiet in the summer, maybe this is not the best option.

Amazing location. Super convenient, lots of lovely restaurants in an area with a cool vibe. Don’t need to travel far to have an enjoyable time.

Room was on the smaller side and felt like it was a bit worn out. Bathrooms need to be refreshed.

Good location, the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly.

The rooms are small but better than many in Paris. we had difficulty with the air conditioning which didn’t seem to work very well. TV was only in French, we were hoping for some English / world news.

Interesting, up and coming location. Friendly, laid back staff. Inclusive breakfast was a surprise.

If you like early nights the outside noise might bother you but after a days walking we just crashed and passed out in the comfy bed anyway!

Breakfast delicious but very basic.

Location was great for exploring the 10th arr and being near lots of great restaurants and bars, nice view overlooking the canal. It was quiet up on 5th floor and check in was easy with nice staff.

When we had breakfast at 10am they had already run out of a few items, we were lucky to get coffee, fresh orange juice, bread and jam and a pastry. Maybe because it was a bank holiday Monday.

Great service at the reception, very clean, elegant and we'll organized. Great shower!

the bathroom is starting to get old.. the tiles are not from their original color anymore, the joints were all black and moldy.. a pity for such a price. the rest of the room is good.

the rooms were spare and very clean. the windows opened up to a lovely view of the canal. it’s a great value for Paris, and a 25 minute walk to the Gare du Nord or 6 minutes to the Metro

The location is simply perfect with all of Paris at your doorstep!

The room was typically cold- even when I adjusted the heat, it never really got cosy warm. Having to buzz to enter the hotel both day and night took a bit of getting used to- as it’s a small hotel, it makes sense but it would be great if your card opened the door to make access easier. But this is only a minor thing and the staff are so welcoming that you quickly adjust!

Location was great - we could walk to all the main sites. Excellent Restaurants and bars were really close by. Breakfast was simple but very fresh and yummy!

The Saturday night was quite noisy on the road in front however you are given a set of ear plugs. I’m

location is great, rooms are quite small but it shows in the pictures already so we knew, view over the canal, staff nice,

adjacent rooms with only a door separation lets you hear everything from the other room, luckily we left just when neighbours were checking in, otherwise would have been hell. Lights over the head are not the best idea, and breakfast was just awful, sorry, you can do better. best coffee is just on the corner next to the hotel and the best croissants aux amandes i have ever had is just 2 corners away.
