The Russo-Balt Hotel in Moscow’s heart is a celebration of the allure of the Art Nouveau period. The building, nestled on an old noble estate, was designed by architect P. Zhukov in 1879.
Notable Russian figures such as Andrei Bely and Alexander Blok, Valery Bryusov, Ivan Bunin, Konstantin Balmont, Leonid Andreyev, Igor Severyanin once graced these halls. It was also home to the symbolists of the Musaget publishing house and S.N. Fisher’s pioneering girls’ classical gymnasium.
From 2006 to 2008, a meticulous restoration and refurbishment process of the architectural ensemble of the manor was undertaken. The Russo-Balt Hotel in Moscow welcomed its first guests on June 11, 2008.
The hotel boasts 15 unique classical rooms and suites, outfitted with all the creature comforts one would anticipate from a high-end establishment.
