Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow

Great hotel.

What to say - it's luxurious hotel in Moscow city centre. Service, location, breakfast - everything is good. Yeah, interiors are a bit old fashioned (let's call it Russian baroque), but otherwise everything is good.

Well, only one thing - i have ordered 'superior' room, but for some reason it was smaller than regular and on the 4th floor. Otherwise - everything was good.

Great location, excellent architecture, helpful staff.

A bit of cheating with the minibar was disappointing. The items that were not located there turned out to be belonging to the minibar and required an extra price.

The Hotel is the Perfect place for starting the day. And have a good rest in Spa and gym. The staff is absolutely professional. And cool like a Russian should to be;) I will not go other place again. Even the much more expensive places can’t give this experience and Rest. Breakfast is Top level. Bed is comfortable like it must in this class.

The shower have little problem to hold temperature on same level. But this I saw in F.S also )

The bed! 👍 The view! 👍 Very comfy and cozy. Excellent quality of every object. Bathroom is awesome! Lots of space in the hotel at the point loosing time till you get to the destination.

There is nowhere indication to fitness /gym center in the hotel. We lost a lot of time to find it which we couldn't alow it. Big distance in the hotel between necessity facilities.

It was one of the best stays of my life. The staff, the room, the location, everything! The cleanliness is absolutely another story. I didn't even manage to blink my eyes and the room was tidied up! Every time I returned back to my room found it clean and tidy. So I am really satisfied! Highly recommended.

The level of service was from the Soviet Union time. A lot of showing off without proper service and culture behind: in SPA my husband was charged for swimming glasses 190 euro (the price of them in internet was 6 euro, when we checked). When we asked for the explanation, the girl in SPA answered that they have VIP guests from the government who don’t care about the prices. For us it was a feeling that they charge the price depending if it is possible to cheat the client or nor. Because my german husband didn’t pay attention to the amount on the screen, this lady in SPA decided to take advantage and charged 16000 RUB (190 euro). They ask to pay for everything immediately, even to pay breakfast in the breakfast room. It is impossible to put anything on the bill if the room, and this shows very limited level of trust to the guests and people. The minibar was blocked as well, you had to pay deposit to be able to use it. On top we were with the baby and out little son was very unwelcome to this hotel. Usually in Europe it always feels so friendly with the kids and here it was so cold atmosphere. On top all hall and each corner is full of security that stand there all day and probably protecting Russian vips but it felt as well so cold and not welcoming. I am Russian, and the feeling what I had in this hotel was complete disappointment. I thought that Moscow is getting closed and closer to European standards, but this hotel just reminded years 2000-s in Moscow, showing off with the money, Maybachs, respect to people depends on who they are and how much money they have. Me and my family are highly disappointed of the level of service and mossy overall unfriendliness. My mark to the hotel -10 out of 10

Very good breakfast with a large selection but some dishes that people does not finish every day, like stewed vegetables, are reserved for too many days without changing the food inside. Hotel position is ok, not far from the city centre. Rooms are clean n confortable, in order to be perfect they should renew some detail in the bathrooms.

They have studied a way to take extra money from guests and it wotks! Be aware to open the 6 little jars of snack from your room because the price list is misleading, it reports an amount to pay of almost 15 euros for: "assorted salted and sweet snacks" so looks like that it is the set price, instead they charge you this amount for every item, we are talking of 50gr of nuts, almonds, candys, etc... A trap.
