Staying at Riad Lamzia was an absolute delight! Firstly, the location couldn't have been better - nestled in the heart of the medina, it offered easy access to all the key attractions. The riad itself was impeccably clean, with charming traditional decor that really added to the authentic Moroccan experience. But what truly made our stay memorable was Ismael, who handles the bookings at the riad. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience throughout our stay. We found ourselves craving Moroccan mint tea multiple times, and without hesitation, Ismael happily obliged, always with a smile. Moreover, we had booked tours during our stay, requiring us to depart early in the morning. Ismael kindly arranged for breakfast to be packed to-go on two separate occasions, allowing us to start our day with a delicious meal despite the early hour. His thoughtful gestures didn't stop there - he provided invaluable recommendations on what to see and do in the city, even handing us a map pinpointing must-visit spots. Overall, our experience at Riad Lamzia was made exceptional by Ismael's kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care for his guests. We cannot recommend this riad highly enough, and we look forward to returning for another wonderful stay in the future. Lovely staff, beautiful riad right off the main square! Ismael made us feel really welcome and helped us with places to go and see. We had to leave early on our last day and we were given a takeaway breakfast to take with us. Will definitely stay again :)

Location was a 10/10 if you want to stay near the main square, as it is just a 5 minute walk away (which is actually perfect). The staff were also amazing, they would go the extra mile to make sure you are well prepared for your trip (breakfast cooked for you ad-hoc, also helping with travel plans). The rooftop area was great, ideal to relax inbetween your excursions. The room spaces (we stayed in superior) were also perfect, the air conditioning worked a treat. Rooms were cleaned after each day and left spotless with new towels.

The pool could do with a little refresh, although its useable in its current state.

Facilities - nice and spacious terrace with jacuzzi, tables and chairs to drink something Spotless - the room was clean, towels, soap provided Service - the guy working on reception and also ladies cleaning were all so warm hearted. They offered a tea and light dinner because I was feeling very bad. They were making sure my health conditions improved offering all kind of help. For a solo traveler this meant a heaven. Thank you so much for everything. Also, Ismail showed me a local place where to buy dates! Language skills - it is very easy to communicate with Ismail. He speaks perfect English and also can speak Spanish which was quite convenient since I live in Madrid and some expressions in English were difficult to find Breakfast - delicious Morroco breakfast with fresh juice and pastry. The other day we had eggs so it varies also Location - close to markets, big square and local cheap shops/restaurants Thank you very much for everything. It was one of the best accommodation I have ever had. Your hospitality and kindness made such a difference.

The location of the riad is pretty good, in the middle of Medina. Staff are so nice and helpful. Especially Ismail helped me a lot while staying at the riad.

very special thanks to our host, Ismail. Very friendly and kind and always treated us with tasty Moroccan tea. Riad was easy to find and a bit away from crowds of old town which was good. But still 3 min walk to old town.

You can be easily disturbed by a noisy room neighbor. It is not about Riad Lamzia, but general to Riad stays.

Lovely and very clean riad, beautiful room, great location, very kind and helpful manager Ismail, who helped my friend with printing the boarding pass. It was a pleasure to stay in Riad Lamzia!

We had an amazing stay here. Our room was nice and clean, good breakfast, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Not even a minute walk to the souks but still a quite place to relax, especially on the rooftop.

This was the best riad we stayed. Everything is exceptional!

The rooms aren’t very sound proof. It can be pretty loud when other guests are not caring. But it’s not a reason to not book this place because it’s still amazing.

My stay at the Riaz Lamzia was amazing! The service from Ismail was amazing and from start to finish, it was great. Breakfast was tasty and served every morning with some lovely tea. Nice rooftop with a jacuzzi and sun chairs. The location is also perfect, right in the medina. Can't say enough good things, incredible value!

Very beautiful riad in Medina. Good location, 3 minutes to the square. Nice, clean room and common area. Small pool and sunbeds on the top of the roof as bonus. My extra requests were also granted. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival I was met by Ismail, who offered tea and gave detailed overview of the Medina and was overall very helpful. I didn't have any issues with the noise (from other rooms and/or street) and the breakfast was good.

Beautiful and authentic riad just 5 mins away from the main square and centre of Marrakech. Very nicely decorated in Moroccan style and has a lovely roof terrace. A big and generous breakfast was served every morning and was really tasty. Maybe the best of all was the staff, we were greeted with mint tea and biscuits as we arrived and then Ismail was in the Riad every day and was so nice to hang out with and talk to and he helped to get a feel of local life and he was always happy to help with anything that we needed! All the facilities were perfect, the room was lovely, cosy and comfortable. Would definetely recommend staying here as the riad was great, the price was great and it was close to everything!

VERY NOISY - if you want peace during your sleeping hours this is not the place you would choose, the property does not impose silence within a certain interval and because of this the noise from the terrace or the hall can be heard very loud in the bedrooms. Breakfast - very basic compared to other accommodation we had in Morocco.

It was super stylish and very well looked after - the staff were very kind and accommodating. The rooftop pool is perfect and the location was very central.

Upon arrival Mohamed welcomed us with cold drinks and checked us in quickly. The room was of a great space, it had an air con and it was cleaned for us on daily basis. The location of the Riad is extremely central, we were literally located in the middle of the media which was such a nice experience as we had access to the market and could access museums by walk. We were served breakfast by Mohammed every morning which included pasties, Moroccan pancakes, bread, fresh juice, yogurts, different speads etc. Overall the experience we had was amazing and I can not thank Mohammed enough for recommending daily activities and also organising them for us. Another great thing about Riad Lamzia is that there is a little swimming pool on the roof balcony which was so relaxing after a long day of exploring Marrakech. Mohammed thank you for everything.

Amazing treatment! We were leaving on a trip early in the morning and staff prepared an early breakfast just for us. Location was really good, just one street away from the main square. Highly recommended :)

This Riad is located in the centre of the Medina, just a 3 minute walk from the big square. It's a beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. The rooftop has a pool and invites you to relax after a hectic day in Marrakech. Breakfast was amazing. The Host was very kind and always around if you needed something. Absolute recommendation!

I really enjoy my journey and I totally recommend this place. The accommodation is perfectly located and very close to the centre (5 mins walking from Jemaa El Fnaa). Them rooftop is lovely and very peaceful with a small pool to relax. The staff has been amazing and helpful with any my request. I loved them rich and complete breakfast!

The Riad is really beautiful, traditionnal and also confortable. It is perfectly located, just inside the Medina, next to the main souk aisles. Mohammed, the night guardian was soooo nice and helpfull, many thanks to him :) Breakfeast is really good in a wonderful environment !

Water was not always hot in the shower but the weather was so hot it was not really a problem !

the hotel is quite noisy as you can hear other guests quite well from the rooms if they are in the hallways or talking in the main room at breakfast for example. the breakfast was not that good either. would also be nice if the bathroom was actually closed off from the bedroom, now it is just half a wall and the top part is open.

Some rooms have a plumbing problem in the bathroom, which means they smell a bit weird. management could replace the system.

Overall a really good experience of staying at the riad. The host Mohammed was very welcoming starting from the check-in, he welcomed us with traditional tea and showed us the main attractions of the city on the map. Breakfast was slightly different every day and very quick to be served, also really delicious. Mohammed answered all of our questions and was very attentive, when we asked for an extra tea once in the evening, he served it to us on the rooftop, which was really nice and romantic. We often used the pool on the rooftop, it’s not crowded and the water is really warm in the afternoon. Our room was clean and spacious, with good AC and a comfortable bed. The location of the Riad is perfect, really close to the main square, there are a lot of tourists around so you could blend in with the crowd.

The riad is small, which makes the interaction with stuff personal, but unfortunately you could hear you neighbors going in and out of the riad, chatting in the main area, you could hear cooking etc. It didn’t really bother us, we got used to it. What could be improved is giving guests a key to the front door, so we would not have to bother hosts with calling/knocking on the door every time we have to go inside the hotel.

Very nice riad, and the location is just perfect, if you wish to stay in the Medina and close to Djemaa-el-Fna. The breakfast was gvery good. Staff very friendly and always available. It has a nice roof terrace.

Like most of the riads, the house is rather noisy, due to its architecture. You can literally hear everything that's going on in the other rooms, like people talking, snoring, using the toilet, etc.

Absolutely fantastic Riad. The staff were lovely and super helpful. I was greeted with mint tea and cookies and a lovely chat with the staff about the area and some recommendations of places to visit. Breakfast was great and the riad in a great central spot but tucked away enough not be be noisy.

I cannot think of anything they can improve on.
