Loved all of it! Must stay here again!

Lovely, quiet hotel with the opportunity to enjoy the views from the terrace. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Super breakfast including a continental buffet of cold meat & cheese, crossant & pastries, fresh fruit & yoghurt, cereals, and a freshly cooked breakfast to order.

I would prefer more traditional breakfast seating rather than the low sofas, chairs, and tables.

The Hotel is really nice situated with a perfect view and walking distance into the Alfama old City. People are really nice in the Hotel and always friendly.

The position overlooking the Tagus. Pity about the Cruise ships spoiling the view!

Position, views and staff

Very small rooms on top floor and very restricted views. Price reflected the position of the hotel, the staff and the views from the terrace , but not the size of the rooms!

Hotel with the only roof top terrace in old Lisbon. Has a better view than the tourist viewing point at the top of the hill!!

Everything. Beautiful. Crystal clean. Fabulous people/service! Location, literally everything.

Breakfast was brilliant & Monica overseeing proceedings was exceptional. We loved the view from our room. Amazing! Roof top bar staff brilliant! Compliments to housekeeping who had very high standards. And then on to reception - the jewel in the crown. Again exceptional! Leonardo showed us around & explained all areas of the hotel. Cannot remember all names of those on reception (so sorry) but you were all wonderful! Today my husband phoned the hotel to make some enquiries about making a booking for next year. He spoke to Arielle (we had met before). What an outstanding young woman - so so informative, beautiful command of the English language & above all a genuinely lovely person. Last but not least, the brilliant young man who was responsible for the cleaning of the communal floor areas. He would always stop work to allow guests to continue their travels. Always with a smile & great courtesy. Huge thanks to you all.

Feel guilty finding any fault - bathroom was a little compromised (cleanliness excellent) & a little surprised by how small the pool was (now I’m sounding like a complete diva!). Totally understand that land is at a premium in cities such as the gorgeous Lisbon.

The view, the service, the amenities… we loved everything about it!

Loved the building and the location. Staff was very friendly. Loved that it included a walking tour with Manuel, very interesting. Manuel let a great tour, loved learning about the Alfama district one of the oldest in Lisbon. Just excellent, especially on our first day of the trip. A wonderful introduction to Portugal. Breakfast was well prepared.

Room a little small

The hotel is a bit hidden within Alfama which gives the accomodation its charm. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone there is super friendly. The view from the terrace and the pool is absolutely amazing. Just sitting on the terrace and enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking view was one of our favourite things to do in whole Lisbon.

The hotel was beautiful with an amazing view and facilities. The location was fantastic.

I enjoyed most things. The bathrobes were too small. The rooms were also a little on the small side.

Absolutely loved our stay! The rooftop tapas, drinks and pool were the perfect respite from the heat in the city. Highly recommend!

Lovely design. Great staff and good facilities. The food- breakfast and lunch were great too.

The only thing was not having enough shade around the pool area and the ability to lounge there. They were having issues at the time and hopefully will be resolved soon.

Great location, close to the tram and other tourist stuff that I panned to visit. The staff was super friendly.

Navigate Lisbon’s narrow streets is always a challenge, we arrived via Uber, but the driver did not know he would be able to make a turn in front of the hotel, so we had to walk with our bags this narrow street to get there. I did not see any vegan options on the menu (breakfast).

Location is amazing, views from hotel has to be the best in Alfama. Breakfast was very nice and the staff are outstanding. I was very impressed with the service throughout Lisbon, would definitely come back.

Rooms are very small.

Helpful staff, amazing location and rooftop has AMAZING views (as did my bedroom window!) I would definitely stay again. Free walking tour happens at 10am everyday.

Service on the rooftop can be hit and miss sometimes but not bad - I think they just get busy and forget a few things, but they're always apologetic if so. The doors when they close automatically do slam so I was woken up a few times by other people closing the door.

The hotel has a very cozy and comfortable vibe where the staff is very friendly and helpful. This extends to the ambiance on the outdoor decks and in the “Living Room” where guests felt comfortable striking up friendly conversations with other guests. The best compliment would be that though there is much to see in Lisbon, as a guest, I would have been equally happy to remain at the hotel during my stay.

The pool patio was a lovely place for a drink. It has a great view of the city and feels far removed from the very busy streets of the Alfma neighborhood

What a great little hotel! Beautifully designed, all the staff are incredibly warm and helpful and will go out of their way to help. The rooms are small as are many European hotels in old city centers, but very comfortable. The terrace is stunning. I come to Lisbon often and sitting in the terrace doesn’t make you feel separated from the city. Food is great and the gym is beautiful, spacious, and well appointed instead of an after thought. Will definitely stay here again. Can’t stress enough how wonderful the entire team are running the hotel.

Not much to dislike!

Everything about our stay at Memmo Alfama was exceptional, from the greeting at check in to the views from the roof top bar. We booked a terrace room which was lovely with doors opening onto our own little private seating area - and the view was breathtaking! We ate at the hotel on our first evening and the food was excellent - as were the breakfasts each morning of our stay. The staff team were, without exception, friendly, welcoming and really efficient and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect - we walked everywhere and found excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay at Memmo Alfama again and have already recommended it to friends.

This was a great boutique hotel with extremely friendly, interested staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We were helped with our bags before we even got to the hotel. It is located right in the heart of Alfama, minutes from the Se (Cathedral) and on the #28 tram route (the classic Lisbon tram route). The bed was comfortable and the room pleasant. Facilities were very good: small pool, gym, various terraces. Breakfast was very nice indeed with a range of options including items to order outside of the buffet. There was coffee and tea available in their lounge for most of the day. There was entertainment on one evening too. Staff went out of their way to help.

Not much. The view from the room (third floor) was obscured by a wall just outside the window! Perhaps a bigger choice of things to eat on their evening menu. And something to sit on in the bedroom!

The property and location is amazing! We checked in, they took our bags and then took us up to the beautiful patio/bar/pool area. The views of Alfama and the river cannot be beat from the patio. We spend each evening enjoying wine from the patio. They did an excellent job of

Uber/Bolt drivers have trouble finding the little alley the hotel is located, thus we had to walk about 100M to the hotel entrance. This could be challenging for someone with mobility issues.

Outstanding staff - very warm and accommodating. They make you feel like a special guest. The terrace is delightful and a great place for a nightcap.

Everything, but particularly the outdoor bar/restaurant on the top that had gorgeous views.

The hotel was really lovely in a great location - has a gorgeous rooftop bar that overlooks the area of Alfama. The hotel is really modern and chic, and rooms are very lovely.

Cleaning service was a bit slow - we went out at 9am and came back at 3:30pm and our room still hadn't been cleaned. Breakfast is expensive for what it is.
