it was a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Everything was very well appointed and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was lovely to meet the owners as they are very hands-on.

Located in the coast of the beautiful Asian side of Istanbul, the Sumahan is a dream boutique hotel where one can relax from the frenzy of more chaotic areas of the city (Galata, Karakoy, Grand Bazaar) and enjoy the views from the opposite coast instead

The staff at the restaurant were not too expressive or friendly, but overall professional. I also booked a Classical massage and was asked to remove underwear. Apparently this is common in Turkey but would be important to warn tourists that do not necessarily know (and in my case, certainly don’t want) this is a common practice. I mentioned this to staff at reception and thought that massage would be under their discretion but quite the contrary, they mistakenly but two massages in the bill! Luckily we noticed.

The view is magical, from the room and from the restaurant, the place is so quiet, it's so romantic. we celebrated our anniversary there and created some wonderful memories. The staff is so nice and professional starting from the reception who left us a nice welcoming message, and the staff in the restaurant who were so nice, also the hotel owner who passed by in our last day while we were eating at the restaurant to say hello and make sure that all were good. i will definitely come back again.

The food was so good and delicious, but they can increase the options on the menu

it’s one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever seen with the best view to Bosporus in Istanbul! room service, restaurant staff are very kind! I would highly recommend it for couples and business trips.

The location is unbeatable, it’s one of the best spots on the Bosphorus, with an amazing view. The staff is very polite and helpful. It’s very clean, neat and well kept. The place is very decent with its staff, ambiance, food. It was truly exceptional experience! Very highly recommended for those looking for a decent high quality stay with amazing views. Please keep it like this! we’ll visit again.

The view is impeccable, and the style as a boutique hotel.

- The furniture could be more comfortable. - The hotel could upgrade using technology (e.g: electronic curtains and lighting station). - The use of candles at night (even if battery operated).

Like a small boutique Hotel on the Bosphorus. Incredible view, calm, great service. If you are looking for a beautiful and calm Hotel, we recommend.

Magnificent views over the Bosphorus. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Limited facilities, no pool. A bit of a hassle to get to the European side of the city and not much to do in the area. The bathroom is quite small and the hotel could be upgraded to use technology (i.e electronic curtains etc). A bit too pricey for what is offers.

The Crew is lovely

Breakfast is substandard for a 5 stars hotel. The place is pleasant but it is not a 5 stars hotel. Let us say 4 stars is more adequate (Max).
