Everything! The building is just lovely,Greta Garbo suite was very comfortable The food delicious, Salih at the front desk give is great tips for touring and places outside for dinner in the neighborhood that I love it!

The staff at the hotel were excellent and professional at all times. One of us lost our passport in the taxi on the way to the airport. We contacted the hotel and the staff got in touch with the taxi company. The taxi driver was able to return the passport to us at the airport in time for our flight. A very big public thanks to the Pera Palace staff for all their help!

The bathroom window (into the main bedroom area) was dark and opaque in the twin rooms but semi-transparent in the double rooms. Perhaps not something everyone would be comfortable with.

I had a great solo stay at Pera Palace Hotel. Its historic charm and prime location near Istiklal Street made exploring Istanbul easy. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit small for the price. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The spa was a relaxing highlight after sightseeing. While some areas could use modern updates, the unique ambiance made it a memorable stay.

the air conditioning was frustrating to control—it was either too cold or too hot—and the internet was virtually non-existent, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Otherwise it is a great hotel.

Great place, perfectly corresponding to its level, beautiful& sophisticated interior, nice location, really enjoyed the Agatha Christie room, the only thing is that people, helping to get a taxi and holding doors are a little snobby, maybe professional deformation)) otherwise, amazing.

We loved everything about the Hotel. The staff is incredible and rooms also. The history of the building is also something to take an note on. I would totally recommend it to anyone. Thanks for the stay.

We loved every aspect of our stay! The friendly staff, lovely room, pool and steam room, all the beautiful decor and Beaux Arts features were top notch. Tea in the Gubbeli Room was unforgettable, excellent in every way!

I should have asked for a stand alone shower . As a senior citizen i found it very unsafe trying to get into the bath to have a shower. Would not reccomend to anyone with mobility issues. Also no champagne sold in the bar .Was my birthday and I wanted a glass. Had to settle for wine.

This is just the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at in my life and it was NOT the most expensive. Just absolutely charming - filled with beauty and the friendliest and most helpful staff. It was an absolute joy from start to finish. I have never been happier away from home. Plus we got the most amazing upgrade to help celebrate my wife's birthday with lots and lots of delightful personal touches - letters, souvenirs, etc.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

I loved the hotel and the location. I could not believe how well the hotel is kept while keeping its historic surroundings. The location was excellent, we could walk everywhere we wanted to go

This is, in my opinion the best hotel in Istanbul. The location is perfect in that a main shopping street is 2 minutes walk, Galata tower 10 minutes and then Bosporus another 10 minutes. There are also lots of bars and such in the area. The breakfast was great, the room was huge and the staff were all very polite and friendly. Finally, the building by itself is a gem.

Not the hotel's fault of course, but getting there by car can be a bit challenging as there is nearly always traffic in the street leading to the hotel. Also beware of taxis not found by UBER or other such services. We had a bad experience with a taxi booked by the hotel for the airport.

We had an amazing stay! 😊 Everything was great—from the convenient location to the friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Excellent breakfast with lots of choices and excellent and fast service, with the possibility to ask for omelletts. We loved the historical building and the location. Staff was very efficient in managing our special requests. There is a cozy spa with a good offer of massages and other services.

Our room facing Pera side was quite noisy at night since there is a bar downstairs with loud music till 1AM. Room service was good, but they took time to take away the table with leftovers in the hallway, which we did not expect. It happened that during our 3 night stay some details were forgotten, for example not every item in the room was replaced every day (coffee capsules, complimentary water), however, once we notified the reception and asked for refills, they sent us staff with everything we needed right away.

Located in a great area of the city. Interesting neighborhood with plenty of sights and nightlife options. Great ambience! Great service! Superb staff!!! I will certainly be back in the near future!!!

Lots of old school charm, character and history . Every floor has artefacts from the hotel’s rich past with detailed explanations and they are laid out with thought. The old lift is an exciting trip if you are in the right place at the right time and I was. Barak took me for a spin and I loved it. The room was spotlessly clean. I never got that horrible dusty foot feeling in bed at night because the floors are beautifully cleaned. The bathroom and the toilet also flawless. The bed linen is beautiful and the towels are in good order. The kettle is a joy with plenty of tea bags and coffee which is so relaxing in the morning. Breakfast is excellent-lots of variety and catering for all tastes. Service is really good and subtle. The bar and salon areas are really cosy and atmospheric and again we had great service. My only complaint is that our room faced the main road which was noisy (even with the window shut!) However we were so relaxed and happy that we slept through all the beeping and shouting. We left our window open in the daytime to get lots of fresh air in and closed it at night and didn’t need air-conditioning. The temperature was perfect. Chocolate on your pillow at night and Molton Brown toiletries. Lovely little extras.

I’m afraid I loved it. Maybe sometimes you can hear other people through the walls but I didn’t really care!

The view was amazing. The senior suite surpassed every other room, including the presidential suite.

For over $600 a night I would expect the Jacuzzi to be hot. It was not. The sauna and steam room smelled terribly of mold and mildew. The whole pool experience was subpar. We really look forward to taking a swim after walking all day, but the pool was ice cold and the Jacuzzi did not work very well and definitely did not heat up. Massages were less than stellar. For a whole lot less money you could get a reflexology and shoulder massage on the shopping street that was exceptional. Don’t waste your money on the spa experiences.

Beautiful hotel with lots of history, including Kemal Ataturk's suite preserved as a mini-museum, the Orient Bar which hosted the likes of Hitchcock, Hemingway and Greta Garbo, as well as the Agatha Christie room (Rm. 411) which can apparently be rented. Just a 2 min. walk from Istiklal street, 10 min. walk to the Galata Tower.

Lots of traffic in the area, can take a while to get to the hotel from other parts of the city if taking a cab. At checkout, they charged us for two days of breakfast (a great feast) when we'd only eaten at their wonderful restaurant once. They removed the charge, but be sure to check your bill.

The place is so full of history!! The Kubbeli lounge is an unique experience. Great staff with a special mention to Gamse: she is so professional and finds a good solution for every issues that a guest can have.

Maybe a dress code for guests visiting the beautiful common areas of the hotel. But this is not the fault of the hotel but unfortunately of our modern times.

The hotel is beautiful; a nice mix of history and modern convenience. Room 608 was spacious and quiet with a little balcony and a beautiful view of the Golden Horn and much of the city. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but the bar and breakfast were great. Everyone we met was extremely accommodating and helpful. The hotel has an excellent location within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants. It was also easy to get to the old city by using the funicular and tram.

The hairdryer in the bathroom was hooked up into a drawer and almost impossible to use. The worst I’ve ever seen. Also, I think a room on one of the lower floors might not be as nice. There are a lot of events at the hotel and I think that could be disruptive if you’re on the first or second floor.

We loved the history of the hotel, its atmosphere, comfortable rooms and lovely furnishings.

The staff on the terrace and the lounge were - sorry to say - highly unprofessional and anything but service-minded. Their English is inadequate to non-existent. We expected far better in such a great hotel.

Our room wiht a balcony on the 4th floor was fantastic. I would not stay on floor 1 -3 - you will miss the sunsets over the Golden Horn.

When we came it was not ready an additional bed till late evening, we were asked two times.

When on departure, we asked for a taxi to take us to the international airport, we didn't know there are two international airports, the service was excellent, perhaps I could suggest that guest are reminded to check which international airport they want because Istanbul has two.

We stayed at the Pierre Loti suite, it was amazing. The staff was so kind. The room service was okay, not great.

The breakfast is disappointing. They couldnt make soft boiled eggs, I gave up after waiting 15 mins andthey brought raw eggs. The capuccino was terrible, a hotel of this calibre should have proper coffee.

I recently had the pleasure of a short but absolutely exceptional stay at the Pera Palace Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s timeless charm and elegance. Although my stay was brief and I wasn’t able to explore all the facilities, the parts of the hotel I did experience were nothing short of perfection. The location in the old part of the city was central to restaurants and historic sites. Our room with a Golden horn view made it easy to familiarise ourselves with the layout of the city. The service of all the staff was excellent.

Breakfast did not begin until 8 and so we had to eat elsewhere to be able to take tours.
