The rich architecture and history of the hotel. The staff were lovely - it was my mums birthday and they gave us special care and a birthday cake!

Cleaning could be better, attention to details - and you are close to the road which can be quite noisy.

The stay at Pera Palace Hotel was a dream. The excellent position, the exceptional cleanliness, the fabulous breakfast for all tastes and ages, but above all the staff give greatness to this hotel that we will certainly choose on our next trip to Istanbul.

The history of the hotel, cleanliness, polite staff, nice area of the city. Great was the afternoon tea and the rooms that housed the bar were magnificent. New and perhaps more luxurious Hotels will need 100 years to have the same ambience. Pera Palace is 140 years old!

The restaurant was not very cosy

From the moment you step through the doors you enter a world of old age elegance and sophistication. Warm, friendly elegant staff, fabulous rooms, gorgeous bathrooms and attention to detail everywhere! Love it.

We mainly stayed here for its historical significance. We loved the classic interior design of the rooms, lobby and lounge. Hotel guests were able to visit the Atatürk Museum Room for free, as well as use the first electrical elevator in the country upon request. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was also excellent. We had a very memorable time here!

Check-in time gets a bit crowded due to the small space in the lobby but nothing major.

Wonderful historic building, beautifully preserved and restored. Helpful, friendly and welcoming staff in all departments including the spa. Excellent spa facilities, well maintained and spotless. Great room.

Amazing to be able to stay in a hotel so full of history. We only had one night at the Pera but it was great , luxurious and fun!

Pera Palace has both historic and cultural significance, and the overall impression after staying for the first time in this hotel is that it was worth it! Extraordinary experience!

Internet was bit obsolete. There is something about good hotels in Turkiye not having internet connection worthy of the quality of staying!

The historic value of this hotel is priceless. Amenities in the room were excellent.

The location between two busy streets is unfortunate, with traffic noise. The high quality windows of the hotel block most of it.

This hotel is always perfect. It is a jewel of hospitality, good vibes, excellent location and example how hotels should be functioning. Especially polaitness of all staff, from front door, to reception, woderful SPA. It is a place we always return, not looking for other place when we coming to Istanbul.

Mattress was too soft which isnt good for the back. Swimming pool wasnt heated.

Everything! The building is just lovely,Greta Garbo suite was very comfortable The food delicious, Salih at the front desk give is great tips for touring and places outside for dinner in the neighborhood that I love it!

The staff at the hotel were excellent and professional at all times. One of us lost our passport in the taxi on the way to the airport. We contacted the hotel and the staff got in touch with the taxi company. The taxi driver was able to return the passport to us at the airport in time for our flight. A very big public thanks to the Pera Palace staff for all their help!

The bathroom window (into the main bedroom area) was dark and opaque in the twin rooms but semi-transparent in the double rooms. Perhaps not something everyone would be comfortable with.

I had a great solo stay at Pera Palace Hotel. Its historic charm and prime location near Istiklal Street made exploring Istanbul easy. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit small for the price. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The spa was a relaxing highlight after sightseeing. While some areas could use modern updates, the unique ambiance made it a memorable stay.

the air conditioning was frustrating to control—it was either too cold or too hot—and the internet was virtually non-existent, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Otherwise it is a great hotel.

Great place, perfectly corresponding to its level, beautiful& sophisticated interior, nice location, really enjoyed the Agatha Christie room, the only thing is that people, helping to get a taxi and holding doors are a little snobby, maybe professional deformation)) otherwise, amazing.

We loved everything about the Hotel. The staff is incredible and rooms also. The history of the building is also something to take an note on. I would totally recommend it to anyone. Thanks for the stay.

We loved every aspect of our stay! The friendly staff, lovely room, pool and steam room, all the beautiful decor and Beaux Arts features were top notch. Tea in the Gubbeli Room was unforgettable, excellent in every way!

I should have asked for a stand alone shower . As a senior citizen i found it very unsafe trying to get into the bath to have a shower. Would not reccomend to anyone with mobility issues. Also no champagne sold in the bar .Was my birthday and I wanted a glass. Had to settle for wine.

This is just the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at in my life and it was NOT the most expensive. Just absolutely charming - filled with beauty and the friendliest and most helpful staff. It was an absolute joy from start to finish. I have never been happier away from home. Plus we got the most amazing upgrade to help celebrate my wife's birthday with lots and lots of delightful personal touches - letters, souvenirs, etc.
