Hostel Cheers Lighthouse, Istanbul

1 room was 2 beds, very comfortable. The 2nd room was huge with 2 bedrooms, 4 beds, a jetted tub and sauna. Good view and location to attractions.

Older building, and lots of winding stairs.

Staff in Cheers Lighthouse is absulutly amazing and nice. All of Staff members are really kind and helpfull, they even organize and attend on group activiteies like Beerpong, 10/10. Bar prices are solid as well. Location is perfect

Door in the room should be checked, It's a bit too loud when closing. Should be an easy fix but would increase the confort a lot

Hosted were so kind, creating a good environment to spend time enjoying and knowing each others. Good food and drinks.

Breakfast was good. Location is the best due to its proximity to the attractions. They literally all on a walking distance. I loved the sea view my main reason for staying at this property.

Building turned out to be bit old than expected. The staff could be more courteous and patient especially guests with families need little extra help or requests. Overall, it was ok. If I had the chance I could have stayed somewhere else.

The bathroom was very small but it is fine.

Booked the location for the vibe it had and was not disappointed. Met a lot of new people, and had a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly.

Unfortunately one of my friends’ doors was broken, but they rectified it by moving her to another room so it was all good.

Breakfast options can be a little better but the location and service feom the staff is really good. Very helpful staff.

Drinking water facility can be the only thing that needs to be part of the hostel offer.

We were sad to is breakfast due to our flight time. The location was easy to find and staff were friendly.

Location is superb for those who like to stay in the old city. Major spots are just 2-3 minutes walk from the hostel. Hostel offers decent breakfast. Personnel is helpful.

The location is quite near the main attractions of Istanbul. There is a free parking place, reserved for the hotel. The view from the terrace of the restaurant is wonderful and the staff is helpful and with sense of humor.

There is no place to hang your towels in the bathroom and some renovation of the room would be nice.

The property was clean and the facilities were good. The staff was very good and helpful. Especially Jack, who guided me thoroughly about how to enjoy the beautiful city. Serdar, Key and Elif were also very sweet and helpful.

All the staff members are naturally friendly and helpful enough to make it feel like home/family.. They're so friendly that the staff and the hostel guests call each other by their names.. The location was way above my expectations and if I could I would have extended my stay..

The staff were really great and helpful. It is good location, walkable from sultanamet and hagia mosque. Breakfast was simple and good enough. Amazing view from my room. Tram station is also walkable. Access to all main areas.

Bathroom could have been little more spacious, but it is not a big negative. Overall very good stay and would love to visit again if at all I travel to IST again.

Very good costumer service, especially Kadir make a different, excellent and always very helpfull.

This is a great place to stay to meet other travellers and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. Special mention to Max who was a great guy! The bar had a great view of the city/coastline. The location was good with shops and restaurants near by and I'll definitely be returning at some point.

Serdar and Jack, and the staff in general, were amazing to us. Very kind, friendly and ready to help. The Location is perfect, breakfast is delicious and i will remember the birds singing in the morning.

The bath is little and there is only one blanket for two. But is very good in general.

I am glad I chose this option, The location of the hostel was best. You have everything nearby just on your walking feet. I chose to come back to Istanbul and stayed here again.

Need regular checkup on bathroom cleanup rest everything is is super perfect.

Best view of any hostel I’ve been to personally, pretty solid breakfast as well so breakfast with a view at a hostel is awesome. Extremely well located for all the touristy type things.

The location of the hostel is ideal for a first time in Istanbul as it is close to the main historical sites The staff Serdar, Sedat and Maassoum are amazingly friendly and helpfull It is easy to meet other travellers especially solo travellers

It used to be a great place to stay when I visited Istanbul 3 years ago. I did not get the same vibes/ energy as it used to be. It is still a relatively good place to stay with a great location to meet all your basic needs that close to all main attractions in Sultanahmet.

Please replace all your pillows and mattresses. The pillows are very lumpy, and we could feel all the springs in those mattresses as well.

We arrived very late and were greeted and helped right away. We booked a private room and were taken to a room that was not what we had booked. We went back and told them and after a few phone calls and a bit of time, we were told that room was not available but they would give us another room in that category. We did get a bigger room but not nearly as nice as any of the pictures on Booking. It’s advertised as a boutique hostel but the rooms we saw were very basic.

Breakfast was always on schedule had everything I would need to start the day. Staff went overboard to ensure my stay was enjoyable and went as so far to offer recommendations. Bonus was that everyone had an amazing vibe and the atmosphere of the hostel was perfect for vacation. Nothing not to like.
