Cost of bonnet 200 lira definitely rip off. Usage of plastic bottles should be eliminate.

my room had a sea view which I upgraded. I was happy with that. It was unexpected.

There was a small issue which I did like it less ; It was a smoking room ! no one asked of I smoke or not . The room had a smoking smell of course.

We booked the room with an extra bed for our son, it took quite a time to get it ready. Although the room was paid for three persons, it was always a challenge to receive towels, etc for the third occupant. There was also no paper and pen available for taking notes.

Our corner room had amazing views and for a family room it was a great size, the single sofa bed and they brought up a good 2nd single bed was superb for our teenagers. It was perfect for our needs. The 12th storey swimming pool was amazing, atmosphere and views were great. Kadikoy as a location is fantastic a real holiday vibe for a city location. The breakfast was superb, every type of food on the market.

The pool was great but space around it was small, one afternoon, it was too busy to sit around, only minus. Food and drinks on the high side but not prohibitively so.

The hotel in very excellent location near Kadıköy shopping street by walk and near Kadıköy Ferry Terminal by walk .. good restaurants around. Breakfast delicious with food varieties. Rooms view just prefect

Could be more clean in terms of restaurant as the table were a bit sticky and room cleaning services wasn’t on time had to call but they did send someone to clean it afterwards.Also the AC wasn’t working properly especially in the morning and day time.We never had this kind of experience in three star hotel in Saudia and Dubai even.It was bit hot in the hotel overall as well.Also the last experience I had about the payment they charged me twice which is still pending to be resolved so not a really good experience by seeing 2 transaction of almost extra £866. Hopefully that will be sorted out soon if there’s any mistake happened. Apart from that staff was really good .The comments I left above is just to make the hotel services bit better as it os a five star hotel so expectations would be a bit higher.

All tables are covered with glass. Accidentally I dropped a bottle of beer on it, and the whole glass cracked into pieces. All our floor was full of glass fragments which was quite dangerous. However, the personnel cleaned everything quickly and provided us with an alternative room which was very nice. I drank beer more carefully in the new room :)

Excellent location, taking the ferry to te European side is a daily bonus. Breakfast buffet among the best ever!

I would really like to call Out the sweetest gesture of the hotel's in house chef Reception who very kindly accommodated our special request for a vegetarian pizza for my vegetarian boyfriend. Despite his heavy work load especially for the weekend rush of guests vying for breakfast, he still went out of his way to accommodate the request of my picky eater boyfriend ;) Additionally, absolutely appreciated the gesture of the reception guy named 'Lelil' for granting us a late check out to be closer to our flight times which was late in the evening on the day. He was also quite patient at the time of check in to accommodate us as quickly as possible into our room despite being v busy hotel on the day.

The hotel entrance seems like a back door entry into the hotel and also absence of concierge to help with the bags, etc.

The location is incredible. The breakfast is also really good. The staff are very nice, especially Celil who was very sweet and helpful.

I think the property is a little old, but it’s still great.

Not sure housekeeping was as good as I would have expected. Had to request shower gel (which was promptly provided) and no water left on one of the days.

Neighbourhood can be noisy, and would be good to have a fully functional gym back.

The best part of check-in was the complimentary upgrade to a sea-facing room... the view was breathtaking. Lovely and delicious breakfast spread. The location was most convenient, so close to the metro and the Kadikoy ferry terminal for access to the rest of Istanbul, but also just a few minutes away from the pictureseque neighbourhood streets of Moda.

Outside the hotel , the pavement, landscape, walkway towards metro or ferry, too disorganised, chaotic , crowded and messy. Very difficult to walk with a suitcase. No accessible pedestrian walk area. The outside roads , pavements and car park area urgently needs improving!

Location: The T3 tram stop is right infront of the hotel. The Kadikoy Metro station is 4 minutes walk away. Many shops/restaurants nearby. The hotel is well maintained and in excellent condition. That explains the average daily room rate. The Doubles offer a large selection of cold & hot dishes for breakfast. All the staff are very professional.

Apart from BBC & CNN news channels, there were no English channels on TV. The mattress should be firmer

Sadly, this hotel didn't meet our expectations. I booked with the idea of enjoying the spa facilities, but everything was closed for repairs. They should email to warn customers, as I booked before they put the notice on booking.com. The staff said that they were in the process of repairs, but we went downstairs to the spa area, and nothing was happening. In addition, there was a really bad damp smell in both elevators. A temporary gym was set up with hardly any equipment and no AC, so it wasn't easy to use for training. This hotel has great potential with its wonderful views and large rooms, but the maintenance problems need addressing.

Expensive stay but worth the money

I think it's one of the best options to stay in Moda. The view from the rooms is amazing, even when it's the city view. Great beds, TV size.

This is the third time I'm staying at the hotel and the communication was never it's strong skill. It is difficult to get any respond to any of the problems you have, just because the stuff is not interested in it. We stayed at 3 rooms this time, and first room (#421) was terrible! Small, with a smelling bathroom and not working AC. I called and talked to the stuff maybe 6-8 times, yet every day was a struggle to get the room air down (it was 30 degrees inside). The cleaning staff only put 1 toilet paper and never refilled the shower gel or other bottles. I booked 3 same type of rooms, but only 1 of them was worth spending that amount of money on it. Also, I am pretty sure there used to be ice machines on the floors, this time they got rid of them. Spa center was closed. Breakfast costs 35 euro per night per person, even here in Germany we don't have such prices (and as I said, I've been there before, that kind of breakfast is not worth of that amount of money!). We had breakfast outside every day and for 20 euro you get an enormous breakfast plates for 2 people at almost any cafe you want. Overall the prices at the hotel lobby and roof restaurant went through the roof this year, with a whisky glass costing around 15 euro. I do understand that it's been hard few years economically wise to Turkey, but if you raise up the prices, the quality should be matching it. This time I had the feeling that the hotel got older, rooms got tired (all that little details that show it needs rennovations), but the price got 2-3 times higher. And don't believe the lines that you don't have to pay for the stay before you arrive, the hotel will block money on your bank account for 1 night and call it "we need a guarantee that you're going to arrive". I believe, this was the last time I stayed there.
