Location: Incredible Room: I understand that the Hotel had old bones, but the rooms are REALLY small for the price point. Still we loved our stay. Beach: Small but nice. Breakfast: Very good Overall we can forget the bad, because the location, hotel in general was great

Pool: Small Pool Restaurant: Not great service, but due to the place, location, tree, etc. you forget the lost staff and a bit on the dirty side Hotel can have a bit of renovations that maintain the vintage

Location right on the beach was fantastic

Bathroom was a little dated and could tell it was hard to clean between shower and sink cabinet

The location could not have been better. The ocean view rooms are a must. The in-house event/ excursion planner made things very easy.

The cabinet that housed our refrigerator was in need of repair.

The check in, concierge and sevice at the Verada was great. concidering the flow of people through the facility most everyone were helpful and courtious.

The service at the bar was less than expected, from the start the waitrsess seemed put out by us bee=ing there. We just wanted a quick dinner we ordered two drinks and a meal to share. She was not helpful with answereing questions about the menu.

the staff did an amazing job balancing the needs of the vacationing guests and the survivors of the Lahaina fires. I applaud them for their compassion.

At night you could not sleep because of the music at the pool until 10 pm.

My room was at the front of the hotel (646) next to the street and was really noisy due to cars, yelling, sirens, motorbike racing out the front. Request a room away from the street

We think the location is great

For the price and the upgrade we expect the room to be a little bit more spacious, also they don't have the hour Grace like any other hotel in Hawaii, they want to charge $75 for only 1 hour

Location is great, right on the beach where turtles pop their heads up daily. Room was ok, nothing special. good view out to the sea. There are some nice shops in the hotel and its located right on the main street with some good restaurants in the area. The staff were really friendly and nice, the hotel was very clean and tidy.

Firstly, the pool and surrounding pool loungers. There are not enough for all the hotel guests and you have to be down at 5am to claim them for the day. If you want a beach lounger or cabana, it is $100 or $200 respectfully for the day and that is just extortion. Secondly - the beach bar and the breakfast are all to overpriced, it should be discounted for hotel guests to eat in the hotel yet you are paying the same cost of a full dinner for a bar side lunch which was mediocre at best. The breakfast buffet was $44 and it is not worth it. Thirdly our room was next to the elevator lobby, so there was a constant rumbling of moving elevators shaking the walls, not great at 2am. I was dissapointed that there was no recognition of the fact it was my honeymoon, most hotels of a smaller scale, normally make a gesture but we didn't have that. The same can be said for my wife's birthday. We had cards everywhere in the room, and in other hotels they have acknowledged the celebration and offered us cards, cakes from the kitchen and even a drink at the bar. But nothing from Moana Surfrider. The additional/ personal touches can really make the difference, its a real shame. Did I have a good time during my stay, yes. If i came back to Hawaii, would i stay there again, probably not.

I wish they would have a more reasonably price restaurant for families with children.

Great location - right on the beach and so easy to walk to many shopping and restaurant options.

Difficult to get sun loungers at the pool and they charged $60 for beachside loungers with an umbrella. We thought that was pretty excessive so saved for the last day as a splurge.

one of the best locations, we are working our way around all the hotels in Oahu and this is one of the best locations for shops/restaurant and beach.

Location location location. Rocking chairs was a win for me having coffee each morning and a cocktail at night after going out elsewhere for dinner

Food was not good

Location brilliant. Close to everything in Waikiki. Beach access excellent.

More pool loungers available. Guests left belongings on lounger all day but were not present for using them

Loved the sunsets, the staff, the rocking chairs and live music entertainment (particularly Koa Attwood… He is incredibly takented and I wish he was there more than once this week)

If I had to think of something, the carpet on the 4th floor looked runned down and the roof below wasn’t pleasant to look at. (Sister on 4th and I was on the 10th floor and thankful!) Almost took the stairs but those looked too sketchy.

They had their own private beach, walking distance to shops, food , and pick up locations for any tours. Great place to stay ! Will return and stay here definitely!

They are always helpful and the food and bar area are great! The night life is great no matter what age you are! The rooms are comfy and always clean.
