Hotel Lungarno, Florence

The real 5 stars: there are good cboice of berries, fruites and vegetables .

Excellent location, extremely well decorated and tidy! The staff is fantastic, politely treating every guest, and going above and beyond to please us! I got there because my previous hotel in the last minute did not confirm the reservation and what a wonderful surprise I had! A calm spot right in the middle of one of the most busy pints of Florence- Il Ponte Vecchio!

Location was great and easily accessible to Florence

The room was quite small for two people. Some tight spaces just to move around.

What didn't we like? The moment you got out of the car there was someone to greet you and help with your bags. The staff where so friendly. The rooms were well equipped and had everything that you would want for a comfortable. If there was anything missing, one simple call and it was sent to you. We also had the most amazing breakfast added into our stay. Overall we could not have been at a better spot during our time in Florence. Really appreciated this stay.

Excellent breakfast included with the room and location on the Arno is perfect for experiencing Florence.

Having the TV’s come on automatically when the door is opened is annoying, especially when you must raise one out of its cabinet just to turn it off.

Nothing! It was a great but short visit for us. We had an airline cancel a flight and we had to stay for two more days and left at 4:15 this morning. Ingrid was great with helping arrange a taxi for such an early departure.

The location was perfect, hotel absolutely gorgeous and there was a luxurious and intimate romanticism about the atmosphere of the whole place that made our trip so memorable. The hotel had wonderful restaurant recommendations which included Il Parione that we dined at twice we loved it so much.

The hotel stay was a wondering experience. We stayed in the family room which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was clean, nicely sized and the staff was extremely helpful. The location of the hotel was amazing - right on the river and close to all the main attractions of Florence without being overly touristy.

The only thing missing was a fitness centre which would have made the stay perfect.

I liked it all

The location was absolutely perfect. The room blew me away. The breakfast made me love breakfast. The staff were outrageously kind and accommodating. I arrived tired and hours before check-in. They readied my room in an hour while offering me coffee and pastries. While I am a very low maintenance traveller, I overheard many a conversation involving guests who needed accommodating and the hotel seemed to go above and beyond. Let me also say this: When I walked into my room I thought: Florence has some tough competition. I didn't want to leave.

Honestly, a friend and tough critic recommended this hotel. He prefaced it with: I am never impressed by hotels. It was amazing in every way and I cannot wait to return.
