Authentic and beautiful. Full of charm. The terrace overlooking the gardens is spectacular. Our room separate from the main palazzo was spacious and comfortable. A fantastic large bath and a view of the gardens. The location is fantastic. Quiet and peaceful yet a 19 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. There are lovely restaurants nearby

The breakfast was good with really nice food but the coffee could use improvement. The espresso came from pods and the coffee was full of grounds. Also more hot food selection like eggs or oatmeal would be nice to see but I was filled up with the fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs.

Wow this was truly a unique and wonderful experience. This was a special treat to celebrate our recent engagement and my fiancée's 30th birthday and it did not fail to disappoint. The character of the building was amazing and the location, in a quiet peaceful idyll but within walking distance of all the main sites, was unbeatable. Totally unexpectedly we were offered a free upgrade to the King Suite and I have never been in a room quite like it with a huge, comfortable bed and a private terrace with views over the stunning walled garden. The staff made you feel right at home and offered some really good tips on local restaurants and attractions and being able to come back and relax in the 'living room' area really felt like a home from home. The breakfast was also delicious. Hopefully we will be able to come back here sometime again.

For those people who do not want a regular big hotel this is perfect. Small but palatial and nothing too much trouble for the staff.

The ambience spray that is used in the rooms is overpowering and strong especially if you have any fragrance allergies. We had to sleep with all the doors and windows open. I would suggest not using that spray.

The setting is amazing and the service is top notch- you arrive and 3 min later you feel at home

We revisited Florence after our last trip 30 years ago, and had an absolutely delightful stay at Ad Astra Suites. To know we were staying in an historical house in a quiet but authentic neighbourhood of Florence was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the room, the view and the relaxed approach.

The style, the feel, the atmosphere, the guests and the employees were all exceptional.

There was very little of negative impact and such that there was was eclipsed by all that was good.

Superb location in a quiet part of the City within easy walking distance to all the major attractions. Excellent rooms with the private garden providing a fantastic view whilst enjoying breakfast on the terrace. Very friendly staff who recommended some superb local restaurants away from the usual tourist traps.

The breakfast was wonderful, and only exceeded by the location on the tables overlooking the beautiful gardens.

Very charming hotel with beautifully appointed room. Particularly impressive bathroom. Reception was super helpful about giving recommendations and ordering taxis. The staff was all very friendly and kind.

It was a little dark in our ground floor room. Also, it would have been nice if the reception had longer hours because we had to do self check in and that was tricky. Plus we sometimes wanted to ask a question but then realized it was already off-hours.
