Loved everything about this hotel! The locations is perfect, just a short walk to the old town and far enough away to feel like you are in an amazing resort (which you are,). The staff was amazing, the hotel beautiful and beautifully decorated - modern, understated, comfort and spotless.

Beautiful, clean hotel in a perfect location for visiting Dubrovnik but avoiding the crowds. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the public spaces and our room. The breakfast is exceptional. The rooms are very well designed for comfort and storage.

Stunning contemporary property built into a cliff just outside of the historic center of Dubrovnik. The staff was excellent; food delicious; and the appointments spectacular.

This is a five star luxury hotel so there is nothing not to like. Modern, tasteful, comfortable with all expected ammenities including an elevator to a secluded beach cove. Stunning breakfast buffet!

Room was quite compact for the price. A decent walk to old town down hill which means of course an uphill walk on the way home. If you’re not a keen walker, maybe stay closer to the old town.

Quite simply the most beautiful hotel room view we have stayed in. We would often have the window open and loved the ambiance created by the gentle sound of the waves on the secluded beach below. Walking distance to Dubrovnik Old Town, tasty breakfasts and a relaxing pool/gym area.

The hotel is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The weather complemented our stay at the Bellevue making Dubrovnik an amazing experience. The staff were very welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed. The view from our room and the lounge area was phenomenal.

It is a real high quality hotel; perfect rooms, super services; amazing breakfast combining the buffet with the possibility to order a special breakfast menu; swimming pool good for the kids; quite close for us to walk into the city.

Lovely hotel, great (Suite) room overlooking the sea. Staff impeccable, so friendly & nothing is too much trouble. Request room service & it’s with you within minutes. The staff work as a brilliant team.

It takes quite a lot longer to get into the Old Town than advertised! Not great to walk & taxis are expensive.

Location ok about 30min walk into Old town. Very straightforward route. Breakfast was good especially cooked breakfast. But limited continental Room was big and bright. Comfortable abd free bottle of water every day.

The views at breakfast were stunning!! So much so I looked forward to it every morning. The breakfast itself was lovely buffet and a hot menu made to order. Absolutely fantastic service..

Very comfortable beds, very clean and the most charming staff. The lift brings you to the beach which was such a treat and it was a 10 minutes walk into the old town. Perfect hotel. Oh and delicious breakfast… and did I say how INCREDIBLE the staff were, it needs saying again.

having breakfast on the terrace with the expansive view of the mediterranean sea was exceptional. the selection of the breakfast was extensive and delicious. the staff were attentive to all of our needs. room size was perfect with high quality sheets and towels. from the room, dining area and lobby, the decor was in excellent taste.

The view was one of the best I've seen-absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast was outstanding. The service as always friendly and courteous. The beach was beautiful with stunning water. And the chocolates before bed were a nice bonus!

There was nothing to dislike

The VIEW is breathtakingly beautiful. It was spectacular. The restaurant staff was always very kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with many food options. Even room service was perfect. We had dinner every night at the restaurant and oh my.. divine doesn't begin to describe it. The best fish and club sandwiches ever! The location is very central, very easy to get to the old town. The hotel let us check out late because we had an evening flight. We got to use the wellness facilities too. 10/10 highly recommend and would return.

There is nothing not to like about this hotel, try it!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Right after entering the beautifully decorated lobby, you will be enchanted by the view from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is big and comfortable. Breakfast is superior. The view from the room is wonderful. Although we booked a room without a balcony, the friendly receptionist gave us a room with a balcony, which was a nice touch. The spa and indoor pool are also very well equipped and the staff are wonderful. The location is a 20-minute walk from the city center.

I simply have no objection. You truly get a 5 star experience at this hotel.

The only negative point was the plastic in the sea and on the beach. This is not really something the hotel is responsible for but it did put a small damper on an otherwise excellent stay.

We got such a great price on Booking.com we literally didn't realize it was a 5-star hotel until we checked in. The staff was phenomenal. They upgraded our room to an ocean-view room with a balcony for our honeymoon (we weren't expecting an upgrade but it was the offseason so they hooked us up). The bath towels were huge and so freaking soft. The breakfast. Oh my god the breakfast. They offered the most expansive buffet / grab-and-go breakfast I've ever seen (see photos) and they had additional menu options you could order from. And the breakfast was included in the price of the room! We stayed in 9 hotels and ate at countless bakeries across Italy and Croatia and this place had the tastiest croissants on our entire trip. And the location? Are you kidding me?! Private beach cove, indoor pool and spa, 5 minute drive to Pile Gate. Next time we visit Dubrovnik we will only stay here.

The pool was cold and the "hot tub" was room-temp.

There was nothing to dislike. If it had been closer to the old city it would have been perfect. Was just a kilometre walk so that would be fine for many.

This luxury hotel is right on the water and a 10 minute walk from the old city, which you don’t want to stay in because you can’t drive in it and thus must carry your luggage through old, crowded marble streets and potentially up dozens of steep steps. The hotel staff was wonderful, the room was huge, the breakfast was extensive and delicious and the spa is top notch with pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, work out room and custom massages.

This was my second time staying at the Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik, I last visited more than a decade ago. The hotel has undergone a complete refit from my last visit and it really did not disappoint! The hotel is situated approximately a 15-20 minute walk (depending on your speed!) From the walled city, which is nice as it removes you from the crazy hustle and bustle of the old town (it gets a huge amount of visitors!) and provides you with a tranquil haven as your base whilst in Dubrovnik (it is also a very quick bus ride or uber) When you pull up to the hotel, it looks quite unassuming as a 1 story building, but that is because the majority of the hotel is below reception, built into the cliffside with its own beach at the bottom. The views from the hotel are phenomenal. When we arrived, we were met by a warm and welcoming Elvis at reception, who greeted us like we were family and that really did set the tone for our whole stay. Our suite was beautiful, warm in colours, tones and decor, and really a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, a welcome treat after each long day of exploring around the area! We had a lovely balcony on which we could sit and watch the water, the sunrise etc. The bathroom was almost completely mirrored, so you can see what you're wearing from most angles if that is what you want, but mainly for me, it had a luxurious bath, which is a feature I always love in a hotel. Breakfast is set up in the hotel restaurant which is a dining option for anyone staying in Dubrovnik. It has a wonderful balcony where you can sit and catch the morning sun whilst enjoying a whole range of options. The is a large cold buffet, but also quite a long list of hot items you can order, with many different dietary requirements catered for, all you have to do is ask. As I said, the hotel has its own beach, and whilst a relatively small area, the beach never felt crowded, although it did get busy.

The only thing that let us down a little was that the TV is quite locked down in each room, which felt a bit old fashioned. We have, in recent years especially, found that we can cast to the hotel TV from our devices or simply already have access to streaming services and that wasn't the case here. But as I said, a very minor let down.

Perfectly situated, it is a 15-20 walk from the old town. Very elegant with a relaxed vibe, the breakfasts were amazing and the room was spacious and super comfortable, fostering quiet and good sleeping

The staff specially in restaurant and housekeeping go out of way to make comfortable welcome. The breakfast buffet really delicious and big. restaurant terrace with sea views is so lovely. dinner I ordered Asian food so decent. They have two page vegetarian menu I love love love this restaurant. first time found good food for myself with choices in a otherwise obsessed with eating every possible living being world lol.

Outdoor pool would have been the icing on the cake

The hotel is definitely a bonus for our stay in Dubrovnik. The moment I walked in I was blown away by the view over the sea and cliff. The staff were very professional and helpful. I ordered a cake to be sent to my friend’s room as it was her birthday. They asked if I would need a candle on the cake. And they delivered the cake so swiftly and made my friend very happy. The restaurant “ Vapour” is worth a visit. The cuisine is exquisite and tasteful. The wine recommended by the staff was delicious. I also tried the spa and massage. It was not bad although difficult to book a slot in the evening.

Everything! The staff of the hotel was highly professional, friendly & helpful through our entire stay. The views, the common spaces, the little beach with cleanest water & indoor pool - everything was gorgeous. Breakfast was excellent in ever aspect. Sunset aperitif or coffee break on their terrace was magical.

It’s the little extra comfort which for me highlights the 5* hotels. The lighting in the bathroom can’t be dimmed though there are few various sources of light. Moreover it’s connected to the same switch with the bathroom air vents (ouch!) without the option to switch the constant vent noise off. At least that was the way in our room. There is no outdoor pool so pay attention while booking. Water in the shower seems to cool down suddenly, it’s not a dramatic shift but annoying. And there are no body sponges in the bathroom vanity kits. These were not bothersome details and overall our stay was very pleasant. But I felt that the hotel really cares about their guests so maybe these small things can be looked into to make your guests’ experience even more magical 🩷

That I can't live here forever

This place is amazing. Spotless, bright, comfortable with incredibly friendly staff and every convenience you could need. Much preferable to the huge resort hotels; this feels cozy and private. A quick walk to shops or 20 min to the Old Town. The views and beach access cannot be beat. The massages in the spa are also superb - quality wellness treatments.

Great location, close to Old Town and not in it. Beautiful setting above the sea. Staff was excellent everywhere. Very good breakfast.

The staff were well-trained, friendly, polite and unflappable. There was no need to seek them out or to ask twice for anything. Breakfast was good, Vapor restaurant was really excellent, drinks service on the loggia was friendly and reliable!

The gym was very small and didn’t have much useful kit. Is it an idea to repurpose more space for this?
