The proximity to the town and the beaches. Also the breakfast was very good.

The mosquitoes and that the paint on the shower floor was peeling off.

It is a very quiet and relaxing accommodation. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the yard and garden are like an exotic oasis. Very friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast make you feel like you would like to stay longer :)

The pool is quite small. Also, although they are on a quiet and clean street, the neighborhood is not at all clean and the road access is in bad conditions, until you reach their door.

A sanctuary in the heart of Las Terranas. A joy to come back to after the beach or sightseeing. Delicious breakfast in relaxed atmosphere. It felt cool and fab to be there!

Having to pay cash up front and a septic tank. We were informed about the cash but having booked over six months ago this did not register until they reminded us a week before after we had left home.

A super nice, small boutique hotel just a few min walk from the beach and the restaurant and bar area. The hotel grounds are small and so cozy, very gree and makes you feel you’re in a jungle. The pool is cozy and clean. The included breakfast experience is unique. With fresh squeezed maracuja juice, warm croissant, a crape and omelette. The breakfast area is verycozy with attention to detal.

Pascal, the proprietor, is not someone to be trusted. He advertised the same three days for the same room for $856 without giving the name of the hotel or its address. He recommended a restaurant that happened to be a friend of his and was one of the least quality meals we had.

The best hotel we stayed in during our trip in DR. Friendly and helpful staff,beautiful room,great facilities(pool) and the best breakfast ever! Away from the noisy party places but actually very close by foot.

I love that this little place is like an oasis so peaceful and quiet.

The only thing I don't like is the parking is a little bit tight but is on my own doing cause I drive a big suv.

Loved the setting and having our own bungalow to stay in. Breakfast was fantastic and the ladies serving breakfast were very friendly, had wonderful massages!!

Only thing would have been to get a little more information up front on the excursion Mahona booked for us to the National Park. Got very few details and didn’t know we were spending half the day at the beach. It was a great day but would have packed for the day differently if we had known.

It is a lovely and pleasant hotel, it's tiny but has a lot of privacy. The stuff is great. The rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is indulgent.. (includes both sweet and savory..omelet, fruit salad, crepe and more..)

This place is the best! We loved everything little thing about it! Very quite and everything is very well preserved. The gardening and the pool area is amazing . Breakfast is one of the best we had . All the staff are very friendly. Best place to stay in Las Terrenas

I honestly don’t know where to start. My mom and I had such an amazing experience that all I can say is you better book your stay while you can. We stayed at the villa with the private pool because I wanted to do something special for my moms birthday. Nicaori and Magaly helped me decorate the room for the mom which I am so thankful for ! Nicaori, Magaly and Arelis aswell as the rest of the team, really made our trip experience the best. First time there and felt at home. It’s located in the center of everything so if you’re decided on whether you should rent a car or four wheeler in the area, take the four wheeler. You won’t be stuck in traffic and it’s easier to get around and find where to park. You’re in the center of everything. Breakfast was amazing! Scram eggs, French toast and crepes were out favorite! Great place, great location and GREAT TEAM running the place. Will be returning.

The private pool was great, we had a lot of fun and the hotel personal was so kind. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is really well located, close to the beach and to a lot of restaurants.

We stayed in the villa as it was the only room available when we booked this place and it was lovely and spacious. The private pool looked a little dodgy at first but we ended up enjoying it to the max. The breakfast was great and the staff excellent. We could have done with a smaller room here but we loved every moment and would recommend this place anytime. A small oasis, a short walk from the center of town.

the layout of the hotel is great. the peace and serenity is amazing due to many plants and birds. the breakfasts were also great - good food, welcoming service and relaxing ambient.

This is my 3rd time in Mahona and it was perfect as always! 100% recommended!

Breakfast was great!

It’s really just two minutes to the beach! Our room was clean and cozy, AC worked perfectly. The pool was super clean and the whole place is just a little paradise with just the right amount of privacy. The staff was really friendly and we enjoyed a nice breakfast every morning, consisting of pancakes, fruit salad, scrambled eggs, croissant with marmelade, coffee and juice! We can highly recommend the hotel! P.S.: Book a massage, it’s great.

We had an excellent stay here. The included breakfast is extraordinarily large and tasty. Our room was not large, but it was clean and comfortable. The manager was not just friendly but she also helped us arrange an excursion to Los Haitesis Park and a massage, both on short notice. We could walk in about 10 minutes to good restaurants in central Las Terrenas.

We really had no complaints.

We just got engaged and we were searching for a short quiet romantic getaway and we got everything that we wanted in this hotel. The interior, the garden, dining space, birds, huge plants- everything felt like a dream! It was the thrill and rest all in one.

Most beautiful tranquil boutique hotel. Only a few rooms which was divine so never felt busy. Breakfasts were great.

Nothing not to like. Just a note that they do not take card payment so payment for the rooms is cash only in local currency, USD or Euro.

Breakfast was amazing, multiple courses every one of which tasted amazing. The service staff were friendly making for a very enjoyable stay.

The shower temperature constantly swung all over the place from too hot to too cold.

The hotel is a little oasis in the middle of Las Terrenas! It’s beautiful inside and the rooms are very comfortable.

It’s insane that in 2024 there are places that don’t accept credit card. Be careful because that happens all over Las Terrenas, not just in the hotel.

Don’t know what to say, lovely place to be

I loved everything about the hotel. We had the 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. It was large and nicely decorated, but above all, it was spotless. I loved the location because it was a bit secluded, but a short walk to the beach and restaurants. My favorite part was the breakfast. It was delicious and so nicely served. I truly felt like I was in France.

Warm welcome from the owners. Stayed as a couple. We got the break we needed. Clean rooms, safe, great location (lots to do), 2 min walk to beach. Great assistance, we had issue with our car and the owner took the time to help us. Nice healthy breakfast provided with a bonus of freshly baked bread.

This place is beautiful little oasis on its own. Bar serves delicious cocktails and delicious breakfast. Services was superb.

It's not a deal killer, but they only accept cash.

Peaceful and tranquil which is quite remarkable given it is a very short walk from a very loud town. Excellent breakfast. Nice pool area. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Very nice aesthetic overall. Very pleasant staff. Big room.

The included breakfast was delicious - crepe, coffee, fruit salad, croissants and French bread plus eggs cooked to order. It was so filling, fresh and tasty.

There was nothing that needed improvement. Everyone was friendly and helpful and we loved staying there.

Amazing place! We were in love of everything, the rooms, the space, the deco, the pool, the plants.. everything is just lovely and Magali, the admin, is the best, really happy with her management skills and closeness. Also, the breakfast and the lady that prepare everything are the best! For sure we will come back. We actually change our plans to stay more

The grounds are beautiful and intimate as we abstain from resorts at all costs! The croissants were delicious. The property was a short walk to places to eat along with several beaches. Merci!

The tropical setting was beautiful and the sweet Carribean style beach bungalows opened to the quiet pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast were delicious and delightful with opportunity for meeting other guests. Laid back, relaxed vibe with attentive staff including a gardener who was one with nature.

The location was a little further from the beach than we expected.
