I hosted 9 of my sisters, sister-in-laws and nieces. Everything was wonderful, but the friendly and helpful staff exceeded my expectations!

Great location to move around downtown. Staff was very courteous from the front door to the counter and the valet. All were exceptional. Loved the upscale hotel decor and the price point was very reasonable. I would highly recommend and stay there again,

Older hotel, so you can hear guests in adjacent rooms. Not a big deal for me but some people may have an issue with it. I still had a great stay.

Rooms and decor are dated. Our bathroom floor was in bad shape. The silk plants need to be replaced.

The size of the room was great. Having a sofa section made it feel like a 2 room suite. The bed was very comfortable and the air condition quiet.

We could hear the noise from the hallway. The door did not seal well. The water bottles in the fridge were not identified as costing $5 each. Many hotel provide complimentary water in the room or put sign out saying how much they cost. It would have been nice to have a small microwave in the room.

We loved the location! It was a short walk to Comerica Park, which was the object of our trip! We also took a sunset cruise on the Princess and our shuttle driver was prompt, courteous and enjoyable.

We stayed 2 nights and didn’t ask for maid servi

The location was good. The valet guy and the man that that drove the hotel van were SUPER NICE!!! Also the cleaning ladies we met in the hall.

No road construction but that’s not their fault.

Big rooms, good Wifi, great location!

Breakfast is not included, valet parking has relatively high price ($30/day), but it is Detroit downtown so you don't have a lot of options.

Management and staff was very friendly and helpful. Free shuttle within 5 miles Morning wait staff was incredible! Parking valet was very efficient.

Would have been nice to know that the neighborhood was a major construction zone. Parking was expensive. Lighting in the living area of the room was cool and harsh.

the free shuttle needs a better way to communicate when dropping off and picking up guests. instead of calling personal cell they need walkie talkies. kept getting the run around when trying to get picked up and then eventually lied and said he never got a call for a pick up..wow.spoke to manager and was compensated.

The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and every employee we interacted with was so kind and inviting. The proximity to the ballpark was great as well.

The room size and layout was extremely unique. Even the layout of the hotel was unique. When we checked in the representative was so nice and helpful.

The only thing I wish we had a king size bed vs. two smaller beds but other than that it was truly a great experience.

The bar manager was rude and when we asked for water he stated he was not the water boy but a bartender. He was rude to many others as well that we witnessed. The other staff was amazing at the hotel.

View leaves much to be desired. Trucks, motorcycles sounds carried through into sleeping area

Our room was upgraded at check in and it was very spacious. Had a great sleep as the bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The lobby area was spacious and the bathroom there was very clean.

The room is dated but that didn’t negatively impact our stay. The bathtub didn’t look very hygienic given its age and the nozzles looked dirty. Overall the room could do with a refresh and deep clean. The wardrobe door was off its hinges. The only issue that was a problem for us was that we wasted a lot of time trying to use the complimentary shuttle - we were told 3 different things by 3 different staff members and it was clear some additional training is required. We had very limited time in Detroit so it was frustrating to waste time. If we were told the right information we would have ordered our own Uber earlier.

Everything was lovely!

The room is super large, with a front sitting room suite with 2 steps down to a large bedroom. Beds are incredibly comfortable, room is very clean. Design is art deco modern. All the staff was amazing from the bellman who greeted us to the front desk staff. And the breakfast is very good, our server was lovely.

Our room was located with the people tram goes past the room so you do hear it, so bring some ear plugs. Also major construction currently going on in the area 8/2025, many street closures. It was very hard to find the hotel via google maps due to all the construction street closures.

Housekeeping kept throwing away the single use shampoos and soaps every day of our stay, super wasteful and environmentally damaging

In the rooms you can tell that the renovations were rushed but still looks good

Check in was pretty easy. There’s a parking a garage directly across the street. Shuttle service was great. Distance to ford field was great. About a 10 minute walk.

Charging for bottles of water in the refrigerator. I wish they had cups next to the ice machine. No complimentary breakfast.

The bathtub was very dangerous for our age . (72 and 75 ) It slopes in the back .

I enjoyed everything, the valet was friendly and the staff were very professional. Looking forward to staying again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Felt like a hotel should be; valet, door man, room service. Location is in a convenient spot to attend tigers games or visit greektown.

Cool hotel convenient to a lot of things in downtown. The suites are quite large which my family all loved and my 8yo was ecstatic about his "own room"" as he slept on the couch in the separate living room. Convenient to Comerica Park - and Ford Field - were able to walk a few blocks to the Tigers game. Overall a differentiated good value from a normal hotel stay.

A lot of construction nearby - which is good for Detroit but did make for some unsafe walking situations.
