Character of the building and room.

Street is noisy.

Location was very good. The hotel has real charm. The room decor I would describe as vintage. The breakfasts were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.

Lighting in the bathroom in particular was dim. Noise from the street could be loud until midnight or later.

Everything- Perfect location, lovely staff

Location was great just a few minutes walk to the hop on bus, the staff are FABULOUS, lots of places to eat close by. Breakfast is top notch and the mini bar was reasonably priced, had a wonderful 5 night stay and felt right at home. Definitely wouldn't have had as much fun if I had picked a different hotel. Great market just down the street too. Couldn't fault anything in either the room or service, was sad to leave.

All was perfect

Perfect location on Bree Street, within a few minutes' walk from lots of bars and restaurants. The room was absolutely huge, including a separate dressing room and sizeable bathroom. Loved the old school colonial feel of the hotel.

As the room is on a main road, it's not the quietest (particularly when there's live music next door at Hacienda) but this wasn't a problem for us.

The hotel has a lot of history and we could see it during our stay. Also there are beautiful arts everywhere including our room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Parking is located across the street and they have a dedicated parking spots for hotel guests. Bathroom is very spacious and clean.

What a gem! Beautiful vintage rooms, crispy clean, comfortable bed, nice spacious bathroom with a bath, great view and location and friendly service. We had an enormous delay, yet they picked us up in the middle of the night, much appreciated.

The noise on Friday evening, but we were aware about that as the hotel is located on the top of restaurants/bars so it was not a surprise for us

This is an excellent hotel to stay in Cape Town center with very friendly personnel. I strongly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Cape Town.

Wonderful historic building in the center of Cape Town! My room was spacious and well furnished and I especially appreciated the modern bathroom, natural light and comfortable bed. Breakfast on the patio had lots of choices (including eggs cooked to order!). There were several restaurants in close proximity as well as walking distance to important historical sites. The staff were delightful, always ready to offer suggestions and directions.

The air conditioning unit in my room was somewhat noisy.

This hotel is supposed to be on one of the hippest streets in Cape Town, with many bars and restaurants right around the corner.

The property feels a bit outdated. We had people working right outside our window while we were in the room. The area doesn’t feel safe.

Everything- staff exceptional , breakfast very good , parking very convenient. Bar restaurant very good - good atmosphere , good feeling .nothing negative at all .

Shower temperature fluctuated a lot and was very difficult / not possible to adjust.

The hotel is beautifully and interestingly decorated, breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. They kindly let us have a late check out which was so also very helpful.

Unfortunately, I was unaware when booking that the area was so lively and noisy, so the only issues i had with the hotel was the noise and the lack of a nice area to sit out, as the roof is not a very nice place to sit.

The Cape Heritage Hotel is such a charming property. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff made our stay wonderful. Also, it is in a great location!

Beautiful place with great staff. Convenient location with several amazing restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant in the backyard offers excellent food (not run by the hotel).

Staff were very friendly and breakfast was superb - plenty of choice. All staff were always willing to help and also spoke when they say you. Appreciated being able to drop our bags off early on the first morning.

Difficult to provide a quiet room...as it was New Years Eve and Cape Town was buzzing...but room was great.
