Cape Heritage Hotel, Cape Town

The location of the hotel was superb, right in the heart of the bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was charming and very comfortable, huge bed and very comfy. A little gem of an internal courtyard and breakfast was really good, juice and coffee / tea was refillable. The staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive throughout. They could not have been more helpful, accommodated a later check out on departure & would have offered a shower room if not. Superb!

It is a beautiful hotel that is in fantastic location, near brilliant restaurants. The history/heritage of the hotel makes it even more special. The employees are very friendly and extremely helpful.

This hotel was perfect for our final night in Cape Town. The location is very central, making it easy to get around. The room was comfortable. A special shout-out to Sam, who was incredibly helpful when we arrived with our rental car and assisted with our bags.

After a tour on the garden route we stayed for one night before cruising. Staff amazing, breakfast was fantastic. Location was perfect Would definitely stay again.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite and it was perfect, a large room with a four poster bed. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from. Location is ideal for sightseeing, the hop on/off bus is only a short walk. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, lovely hotel. Easy to park in the adjacent car park and once booked in the hotel give you a tag to get in and out.

There has been feedback about noise from bars etc nearby. That may be the case but it really did not affect us and just adds to the joyous atmosphere.

The staff were excellent and the breakfast was amazing. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Sadly where the hotel is located is over a pub and we had people shouting and fighting during the night which woke us up so we didn’t sleep.

They did say it was going to be noisy as we were in the hub of the Business District but they didn’t say it was literally downstairs, they supplied us with ear plugs

This was by far the best of the 3 hotels I stayed at in the space of a week. Great location, friendly staff and very very clean.

The shower was also spilling water all over the floors that definitely needs to be looked at.

It is so noisy on a Friday night - it is not so much the bar noise, which I expected, but cars and delivery drivers revving engines. The bars emptied out at 4am and there was a lot of noise from the car park opposite as it emptied out.

At night there is some music until 11 on weekdays, not a problem for us. It wasn’t loud at all.

Large, clean room and bathroom. The staff was all extremely pleasant and accomodating! The breakfast was excellent.

Location was great; close to many good restaurants and in a safe area. Bathroom had a great bathtub and like the rest of the room was spacious . We knew it wouldn’t be quiet because there are restaurants below opened late.

The bed was awful. Big dip and very uncomfortable for a side sleeper. That mattress should be replaced.

Very comfortable hotel set in a historical building in Bree street. Staff are superb and always there to help and advise. Cannot speak highly enough of them.

Water in basin in room had limited pressure/flow but bath and large shower were fine. Can be a little noisy at weekends but not a huge issue after midnight.

Lovely historic hotel, right in the centre of town and on a great road for restaurants and bars. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, comfy rooms and delicious breakfast. Parking across the street, the price isn’t included, but it’s not too expensive.

Can be a bit noisy at the weekends given its location, but the room we were in was quiet enough.

Room 112 very noisy at night with inconsiderate bar owners. Spoilt what would have been a perfect stay. Management needs to do something about this as it is a is problem and as can be seen from previous reviews.

Room can be loud at night. The waterfront area is too far to walk but Uber was quick and inexpensive.

This property was absolutely gorgeous! Everything about it was perfect. Beautiful decor, the bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. They had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable beds,outlets on both sides of the bed,blow dryer, mini bar, safe,closet,tea pot, the bathroom had a soaking bathtub and a standing shower, and they provided toiletries. A bathrobe and slippers were provided as well. People were complaining in other reviews about the rooms being noisy, and yes, you can hear some of the noise outside, but was not a big deal. The location of this property is in the middle of everything, of course the street is going to be busy.The breakfast was amazing, but the staff was exceptional, and they treated us like we were family. The location couldn’t be better. Restaurants everywhere. there is a small room with an art exhibit. In the back there is a courtyard with restaurants .I can’t wait to go back and stay there.

There is no elevator, because the building is historic. That’s the only thing. I I love using the stairs, but my husband had a bit of a problem.

The location was perfect. The decor and creativity around the styling of the hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Mother City.

I had asked for a room at the back because of the potential for a noisy night. I wish I HAD got a room in the back as I did find the street noisy.

The location in the centre of the city and character and history of the hotel is exceptional. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful.

Unfortunately the noise from the entertainment venues just below our room was much higher than we exprected, especially on Friday and Saturday night. We had to wear ear plugs when sleeping and this was not very comfortable or ideal.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We’ll definitely go back next time we are in Cape Town.

Lovely boutique hotel in the center of the city. Area around was vibrant and trendy. Our room was very large and well appointed. Hotel was decorated with a lot of lovely art. Parking was very easy very close to the hotel.

The overnight noise was terrible. Bar noise stopped around 1am, but unfortunately one night there were then car races on the street outside. Turn down service was mid afternoon with lights left on and curtains closed which was a bit strange (and energy wasteful).

Some street noise during the weekend (Friday and Saturday night) due to the central location, but the rest of the days it is very quiet!
