No hot water!!!!! No agua caliente en todo el noche!!
Good location, large room, very clean, comfy bed, good wifi... But... See below, no water!!
No hot water in my whole stay and no cold water either in the morning! Can't use jacuzzi as there is no water to fill it, at 6am the hot water was a trickle...
They told me this had never happened before, but I looked at previous booking and google reviews and other people have had the same experience of dirty water or no hot water, it's sad because back in 2016 this was a really good hotel...

very nice and comfortable staying in the Retiro of Buenos Aires
central location, very spacious and bright room. We were on the inside, so also very quiet.
the space for breakfast is really too small. fortunately we are very wary person so we never found it crowded. would suggest to have fresh fruits salad .

It’s not worth the price, find somewhere else
The staff was very nice (that was the only factor that made our stay “bearable”).
We complained about the mold so they offered us a free breakfast. Nice detail but It’s not enough to compensate the fact that we paid around 160 usd for one night and couldn’t even shower comfortably.
It was SO DIRTY!
We couldn’t get in the jacuzzi because it was so dirty that it was staining the water into yellow. It took us a while to realize that it was because of that. The shower had mold as you can see in the pics, we didn’t want to shower.
In general the hotel is in a bad state, it looks old, the breakfast is very poor and the bathroom doesn’t have a full door so there it ZERO privacy.
We can’t believe the price we paid for this place. We are extremely dissatisfied.

Great place
We had a great time at the hotel. The room was massive and super comfortable, with a sauna and hot tub. The staff was great and helpful. Not the cheapest option in downtown BA but it definitely was worth it.
There was no way of paying for the room online (MercadoPago doesn't seem to work with non-Argentinean credit cards) so I had to provide credit card details over the phone which was not great!

location, location, location! large rooms with Jacuzzi tub was a bonus. Staff very nice and accommodating, met the owner of the hotel and used the bamboo bikes to tour the city!
