The location and the staff were great.

Quiet location , lovely boutique hotel in a period property . Great balcony rooms worth the extra cost .

It is around a 20 minute walk to the old town .

Beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff. We stayed in the old stables, in a nice big, comfortable room. Bed was great, shower had good pressure, room was air conditioned. There are nice amenities in the immediate vacinity (e.g. boulangeries, a wonderful public park) and the tram stop is about a 3 minute walk away. Trams run frequently and are well connected. 1 or 2 stops will get you to central Bordeaux (walkable also). The hotel can arrange parking very close by on the same street in a secure underground car park. Very convenient.

The one thing I wasn’t a fan of was that in our particular room, the toilet is separate from the shower and sink.

Well appointed rooms. Our room was small but we booked the basic one. Staff very professional and gave great recommendations on restaurants and bars. Short walk to the city centre (10-15 minutes)

Lovely small hotel about a 20 mins walk from the centre on Bordeaux, with good parking. Room was spacious with good shower room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We don’t have the breakfast as seemed expensive at 16 euros a head

The staff were kind and generous with their time, just to make us comfortable. The place was spotless, the breakfast (served early to accommodate our departure time) was excellent, and the room, even though it was not large, had everything we needed.

Nothing, we liked everything. The location is OK too, a bit out of the way from the busy centre - but as a consequence very quiet and peaceful, and nice walk to the centre, passing the ruins of a Roman arena from the 3rd century. The street car stop is not far either, as an alternative.

Newly decorated ancient hotel was super comfortable; had very nice AC (during a hot visit); had bottles of cold water in the mini fridge; offered a wonderful, healthy display for breakfast; absolutely the best staff accommodating every ask or wish; super(!) comfy bed and pillows and the location was on a quiet street just 7-9 blocks away from everything interesting. A convenience store 2 blks away too. Oh! And the bath products were delightful! Oh! And a lovely, lovely garden patio to eat or just lounge.

Washcloths would have been nice.

Limited facilities had to to decide night before if we wanted breakfast which was too regimented for us .

Comfortable, quiet hotel, not far from centre, but we expected better location. A little bit poor breakfast.

Central location, extremely well air conditioned and comfy rooms

Great location with really easy access into the centre but all super walkable and pretty streets. Nearby lots of nice cafes and shops. Lovely good size room, with all the facilities needed and good quality, Bathroom was a great size and the whole room was cleaned to a great standard. Hotel staff were all lovely & helpful with various enquiries we had, for recommendations, sorting an iron for us to use and storing our luggage till later in the day after checkout.

Great boutique hotel for a night or two. Lovely courtyard for breakfast. Walking distance to old Bordeaux and it's bars and restaurants.

Everything! The service was exceptional. Showed us how to use the tram payment app. Arranged a last minute tour to winery. Really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was simply perfect. Thank you! .

Room was a bit small; bathroom arrangement was odd. Toilet and shower rooms were separate; shower room door opened onto the desk area.

Breakfast was exceptional! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Although there is no bar they do serve drinks which you can take into the lovely courtyard.

Great location in quiet area just a short stroll from the city centre. Parking on site was good and staff (Isabelle) were very friendly & helpful.

The only improvement I would suggest would be clearer signage outside - it’s a one way street and we missed it first and had to reverse

Excellent location, very welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast, excellent king size bed! We were surprised to discover the remains of the Roman coliseum (antique circus) within 150 m from the hotel!

Our terrace door didn’t lock.

The staff were exceptional - very efficient, very friendly and very accommodating. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. This small hotel has a unique ambiance, and the wonderful little courtyard is charming.

Very inconvenient that toilet and sink are in separate rooms.

Great place in a quiet part of the city, yet a close walk to the city center. Helped staff and comfortable room.

Room was excellent, overlooking the courtyard. Very clean, nice bathroom with fab shower. Location was perfect for all the sites, close to some nice restaurants as well. Staff were excellent throughout our stay. Very helpful, Isobel and her team did the hotel proud. Helped us with recommendations, reservations etc. Couldn’t ask for more.

The breakfast could have been better. Quite a basic offer, but didn’t spoil our break.

Hotel La Maison Bordeaux is in the great location. It’s near central Bordeaux within walking distance of water front and yet quiet. There are lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. The rate was reasonable but not great. Room was clean. I

The parking nearby was expensive. Parking from 8 pm to 3 pm the next day cost €28.

Ice quiet location - great staff.

The staff were amazing, everyone was so helpful to us with everything we asked. The bedroom was very comfortable especially the bed. Car parking was nearby and very secure.

The hotel was in a great location. Close enough to walk to main attractions and restaurants. It was in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Big, clean rooms and great staff.

La Maison appeared to be slightly out of the way from central Bordeaux (on the order of a mile) and the better restaurants. Although, I'm thoroughly ignorant of better locations. I walked miles from the site to see La Bourse, the famous bridge and the shopping district. Fact is that I came for Cassoulet (an exquisite stew my wife used to make) and was told by one and all that I should have gone to Toulouse.
