Hostel Lub D Siam, Bangkok

Excellent location and super helpful staff. Will definitely stay there again!

Rooms might need a bit of maintenance done like new paint for door frames … also could be cleaner but wasn’t that bad.

Location, staff, co-working space, free refill water

1) Need more light intensity in co-working space 2) Loud AC noise

Location is very convenience, just right in front BTS station, 10 minute walking distance to Siam area and link bridge to Erawan Shrine for praying. Staffs are friendly. Public facilities such as toilet room, bathroom are clean. Hair dryers, shampoo are provided. Price is reasonable.

There is no lift. For anyone who bring a heavy luggage will be a little not friendly.

Shower room water pressure too low. And the line is bad for the tv. The screen is snowy

The hotel is located right In front of the TBS walking distance to many good restaurants. They have a wonderful bar with a wonderful bartender 😜. At the lobby it has a nice and relaxing chilling place. . The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The bunk bed was good but may have to improve on the cleanliness of the room. Just get a disposable bedsheet for a more comfortable stay.

Location is superb, room is clean, hope they will provide electric kettle next time.

It was fine. Nothing special but good location, clean and comfy bed.

There was no fridge in the room and it was very small.

The location is in the heart of the shopping centre right accross the street from the MBK building near Jim Thompsons house and the Thai Cultural Center

Although the staff werd friendly there was no vibe and I thought the price was a bit expensive.

Great location right next to MBK shopping centre and the Sky train BTS station National stadium is right outside the hotel. Staff on hand always and helpful.

It lays beside the highway so its a little boost But Nothing reagular people cant handle

The bed is sooo comfy, I stayed in a private room at the 4th floor with shared bathroom. So many pillows which I love. It’s small good enough for me. Not scary to walk at night, very good location. For grocery, I went to Lotus on the right side of the road. MBK is across and I walk a lot going to Siam malls. BTS is just steps away.

No elevator but they help me carry my bag and there’s a baggage storage at the GF

Great location for Siam - right next to MBK. People at the bar, easy to meet other travellers.

First room was very damp but I was able to move rooms straightaway and the second room was much better.

Nice hostel with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. It has a bar and seating area to relax. There's also a separate TV room for some quiet time and there is a co-working space which is accessible for a small fee.

The (4-bed) dorm room was a bit damped and there was no possibility of opening the window. As an experienced (read: older :-)) traveller like I am, I have my way of doing things and am used to a bit more amenities like a kitchen with fridge/microwave to organise my own food & drinks. But the hostel seems more aimed at short-term (vacation) travellers and therefore tries to sell food & drinks (IMO, the drinks at the bar are a bit expensive whilst there is a 7-11 next door). Loud music early morning in the shared space. Not super loud, but not my cup of tea as I like it quiet and relax.

Prime location, right next to The National Stadium MRT station. Helpful & friendly staff. Very clean. The interior is very nice; colorful and catchy.

No elevator. Mirror in the bedroom positioned too high.

When I first got there no lift was an issue because I was on the fourth floor but had a lot of luggage then but found the exercise done me good after that! Haha

It's great for couples who'd like to do a lot of shopping.

The room looked quite dark and old, especially the beds. I expected the place to look a bit more modern/cared for/welcoming. Kinda gloomy room. The workers at the hostel didn’t organize any events for people in the hostel to meet/party. Yet it was written on Lub D website that it’s a social hostel, it’s not. For me it was disappointing. They didn’t have much recommendations on what to visit in Bangkok…

Great facilities for a hostel. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, body wash, que tips, hairdryer and more! Staff are friendly and helpful.

staff were very friendly and helpful, the common rooms, bathrooms, and dorm were all clean, and the atmosphere was cheerful, colorful, with quieter places to get work done. mattresses were very comfy too :)

Very clean and tidy. The toilet was always clean. The bed is comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We just thought would be closer to the city centre but the train station is one minute away and it does help a lot. Would recommended it for sure! ☺️

this is my second time here and there's a reason why I returned. it's central to everything, affordable and really decent for the price you pay

slight musty odor, an absolute must leave the AC on in there. Speaking of AC, the temperature was on and off... it'll blow cold air for a minute and then it'll go room temperature air for a few minutes. I don't remember it doing that my for my first time here at Lub D

Will be perfect if there is a lift 😀. But staff are very nice to offer their help to carry our luggage upstairs

The staff were very friendly, which created a great atmosphere for the world cup. The bathroom was clean had a great coworking space with very good internet connectivity

The location although very close to the station but was also close to a main road so could get a bit noisy
