Room size ever big enough, location of the hotel was right onto the beach and breakfast buffet venue views were amazing. All in all a great place to stay for vacations. Dian (manager) was exceptional in her customer service and hospitality. 👍

Well, if you’re looking for an overpriced adventure masquerading as a 5-star experience, look no further than the Grand Seminyak! First off, let's talk about the “vintage charm” of the hotel. By vintage, I mean the place is in dire need of refurbishment. Our room had a coffee machine straight out of a museum and a shower head that seemed to have given up on life. Oh, and the windows? They might as well have been made of paper for all the insulation they provided. The noise levels were impressive, to say the least. If you enjoy listening to bar music, beach club beats, and the occasional random fireworks show right outside your window at 21:00 and 23:00, you’re in for a treat. It's a symphony of sounds that’s just perfect if you’re trying to rock a baby to sleep or catch some much-needed rest. As for unexpected guests, we had an “animal” visit us in the middle of the night in our first room. It provided quite the midnight entertainment with its mysterious and loud noises. On the bright side, the staff was very helpful and managed to move us to another room. Despite these delightful quirks, the staff at the Grand Seminyak truly shine. Always smiling and willing to help, they’re a beacon of hope in an otherwise chaotic stay. The pool restaurant deserves a shout-out too—the food is top-notch, especially the lobster, which is nothing short of amazing. In summary, if you’re after a comedic getaway filled with historical appliances, unexpected nocturnal visitors, and a cacophony of sounds, the Grand Seminyak is your go-to spot. Just make sure you bring your sense of humor and maybe some earplugs.

I required crutches to get around due to a knee operation, the property didn’t cater for those with a walking disability. Getting to reception from street level and down to the swimming pool and outdoor cafe areas would have been easier if there was a ramp for ease of access. On the plus side, stay were very accommodating and always offered assistance.

We didn’t like that people could walk off the street and take up all the sunbeds and swim in the pool when they were not staying at the resort and all they had to do was buy a drink and they could stay all day. We were paying to stay there we should be able to enjoy the facilities and if people off the streets want to come and enjoy there should be either a section for them or a time limit that they can stay.

This is an amazing hotel, right on the beach, in the perfect location for sunset. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are so attentive and friendly. Great food, fantastic pool looking out onto the beach. Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves.. lovely rooftop restaurant for breakfast, on site gym and spa. Right beside lots of bars and restaurants, surf schools and shops. The location is facing the sea at the end of the road so you can't hear the traffic.

I enjoy every part of my stay. This hotel exceeded my expectations and I had a great time being my first time in bali. The room was spacious and very clean, the facilities including outdoor pool, spa and rooftop restaurant had a great ambience and the food and cocktails were amazing. More than all of this the staff were incredibly nice and attentive at all times. They always suggested really nice places and were nice people to have a chat with.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful. Enjoyed our time here relaxing. ☺️

Absolutely Nothing!

My recent stay at what was supposed to be a luxurious 5-star hotel Anantara Seminyak, turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I cannot express enough how deeply disappointed I am with the uncleanliness of the staff, rooms, and the lack of any form of satisfactory customer service during my stay. Upon arrival, it was evident that the hotel was not living up to its prestigious reputation. It was clear that personal hygiene and cleanliness were not a priority for them. The bed sheets emitted an unmistakable stench of sweat. It was evident that they had not been changed or properly cleaned in a long time. The overall cleanliness of the room was visible with dirt and dust in corners and on surfaces. It was a far cry from the pristine conditions one would expect from a 5-star establishment. To add insult to injury, I requested a refund as I couldn’t stay one more night in this hotel and I was promised a refund will be credited to my account. 3 weeks have passed since and I have yet to receive my refund from them, when I contacted them they shared a screen shot of the transaction and what is even more shocking is that the accounts number the transaction was made to was not my account…. It is absolutely unacceptable that a supposedly prestigious hotel would allow such actions uncleanliness to persist and fail to address customer concerns in a satisfactory manner. As a guest, I expected a superior level of service and an experience that would justify the high price tag. Unfortunately, Anantara Seminyak failed to deliver on all fronts. I strongly advise against considering Anantara Seminyak for your accommodations. The uncleanliness of the staff and rooms, combined with the offensive odor and the lack of any form of refund or resolution, make it abundantly clear that this establishment is far from deserving of its 5-star rating. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a hotel that prioritizes cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

the property is extremely run down- leaking ceilings, our room was falling apart, very dirty, a lot of ants all over the room. the food is terrible and very expensive. bad value for money. if you’re looking for a resort experience this is not it.

Common areas were very badly maintained. Whole hotel requires urgent renovations. We found housekeeping standards low. Breakfast service was very slow and breakfast menu very limited.

Room both air con vents leaked badly. Ants on sofa. The 2 wooden bed head keeps dropping. Certain morning no refill of basic tea bags. Phone from room dial '0' to reception does not work. Hitel room is old and tired. WC seat is not properly aligned. All in , not value for money.

The place is old and run down your photos in your website is of when the place was new not now I book the place based on your photo images I could not even turn of the spa tonight in my room so I left it on what a joke you promote this

for the price you pay the facilities are very old, outdated. The tv images are very distorted, the staffs uniform you can tell are very worn out. A lot of old stains, the rooms have a very dusty and old smell, the gym was not available as it was renovated and we were not informed.
