Excellent location friendly staff

The staff went the extra mile to ensure we were well received. The amenities are great, the rooftop at the top makes you wanting to not leave the hotel at all.

Just an opinionated view, but it would have been great if the yoga sessions included were daily. Although we stayed there for 4 days (3 nights) we were only able to do yoga once. Would had been fantastic if there were more days available for it.

I cannot rave enough about the Grand Seminyak! It is a boutique hotel so it's not a large resort, but everything is just perfect. The pool is gorgeous and overlooks the beach, the rooms are HUGE, clean, and beautifully furnished, there are fantastic options for entertainment and activities like morning yoga and evening fire dance, but most importantly, the staff are absolutely phenomenal. Nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly, helpful, and when I got sick they went above and beyond to make me comfortable and help me recover. Ari Fo and Aditya in particular made sure my stay was perfect, treating me like family. I will be back, and telling everyone I know to come here!

The breakfast was fantastic, it had everything. The banana pancakes were next level. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel and the restaurant and spa facilities were amazing. The team at spa Ayu, Ani, Dhia were excellent, and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend them. Also, Nova and others in the restaurant were amazing. They went out of their way to make special ginger tea for me as I was ill.

Upon arrival, we were given a corner room ( we had the suite with a balcony with sea view), and we were told that it was one of the best rooms in the hotel. But upon entering, there was a very bad sewage smell in the room that sort of spoilt the whole room and the view for us. Later in, we found that the AC did not work, especially at night. The technician came and repaired and still didn't work properly. After complaining multiple times, they only offered another technician. We had to ask for a fan, and I ended up ill. Finally, after escalating to the GM, Sathya and Yuli got us moved to another room. And indeed that was one of the best rooms. I am very sure that they had kept the previous room only for booking.com or other 3rd party booked customers. Everything worked in our 2nd room, and we had the best half of our stay. Hope no one else have to go through that.

we were most happy to receive a free upgrade to a pool entry room. Staff were always friendly and helpful for whatever we needed. Never any trouble getting a pool lounger. Liked that it had direct access to the beach also as there was always a nice breeze.

I do think that at OBeach hotel guests should be given priority at the restaurant.. I did ask for a specific table to be held for me while I changed out of my swimwear and when I came back the table had been given away to someone else who actually only sat and had a Bintang and left. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. All you can eat breakfast (a là carte and buffet) was delicious. Amenities were great, with pool and gym, and had accompanying restaurants whenever you wanted a delicious meal. Location was quite central - able to walk or take a short ride to main streets of Seminyak. Being beachside was fabulous - able to watch the sunset from the rooftop bar or walk along the beach.

The staff were accommodating, and the suite was large. Breakfast was good, and spa was amazing! pool wasn't too crowded and O Beach club was good.

The room was dusty, and so was the bathtub. the rooms don't seem to be deep cleaned between guests.

It is very hard to get sunbed, not many of them, that makes pool access pretty difficult No jamu for breakfast

It once would have been a really nice hotel but now it’s tired and in need of a renovation. There is a beach front restaurant which has a DJ until about 2100hrs in the evening which can be quite loud.

Getting bit old but still amazing views & location on beach

The staff were wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. The room was great. It had a lot of space and was very comfortable and elegant. The spa treatments were wonderful. On our last day our flight was in the evening so the hotel stored our luggage and we enjoyed the pool area during our wait. The hotel then allowed us to use a shower room to clean up before we left for the airport.

The cost of some items and services was high for the area and after the higher cost of the room I thought some things should have been included, like items from mini fridge. We chose to use a private driver to take us to the airport as the cost was 1/4th of what the hotel wanted to charge.

Grand Seminyak is located right on the main beach and has a vibrant atmosphere. The ocean suites are very large and, as the name suggests, they have a great view out to the beach. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach from your room.

The bathrooms could do with a deeper clean, especially around the shower. Although this was the case for the other hotels we visited in Bali too.

Location excellent- on the beach and close to shops and other restaurants/bars. The service was very good and staff very friendly and helpful. Good food and wide choice of food and drinks.

They seem busy with investment to refurbish and need to continue to ensure it gets back to its former condition.

Everything I wanted/needed for my holiday was at the hotel..... eg. location on the beach, close to restaurants/shopping, etc, in house day spa, restaurants (rooftop & by pool dining). Service & staff was impeccable. Friendly, professional people always helping & saying hi. Nothing was any effort to arrange for me. Staff remembered my name & said hi - especially at the rooftop restaurant & day spa.

Sometimes at the breakfast service (rooftop) staff were a bit slow to serve tables... not attentive enough. Very friendly staff, though, always smiling.

The location is perfect - on the beach and a short walk to bars, clubs and restaurants.

The hotel needs to have an activities desk where ypu can book day tours with Co fidence rather than relying on hawkers.

The breakfast was lovely and had different spreads right from Indonesian to Indian / English breakfast . The location was great by the beach . The jacuzzi in the balcony was an icing on the cake.

The entertainment could be longer at the ground level. The toiletries could be better - more variety and more genrosity was needed. They used old wooden bottles which looked very old . Bathrobes were missing in the walkin closet .

The semi buffet breakfast was good with variable of choices from international to Indonesian style. The room was spacious with good facilities and with a sound speaker allowing music to chill. Water for drinking was provided unlimitedly, whereas in many hotels/resorts only two bottles of water provided each day. This place is really worth of money.

The noise level. There was music in the reception area, which was quiet in the day, but louder at night, with different repetitive music all day by the pool, then, which was the worst and which I also admit is beyond the hotel's control, is the bar music from next door, which is 90's rave music played very, very loudly, which unfortunately can be heard in the bedrooms. Earphones are needed to block out the noise if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. We sadly used to stay out until 10 pm to ensure that the bar music from next door had finished so that we could get to sleep.

Good location, very friendly staff and a comfy bed. It would be amazing if they looked after it.

The property is run down and doesn't look like it's had a birthday in years. The rooms need a makeover as they are showing a lot of wear and tear due to age. The water jets on the pool sunbeds were covered in algae, which shows it doesn't get cleaned properly.
