My stay at the hotel was extremely poor. The noise from the animals was constant and kept me from sleeping.

Also, there is the sound of the fountain water behind the bed which makes it difficult for a person to sleep, and there are many mosquitoes and insects inside the villa. Monkeys are everywhere, and the place is not safe.

The room is cozy. The food is amazing. I love their menu of authentic Indonesian food, worthy to try! I love their private beach just can’t forget the first time I visited it was like fairyland. But sadly now many plastics on beach and rocks… have no word to express my grief. Love their frangipani welcome drink!

1. Compared to the first time I stayed here 9 years ago, now it is degraded to the service. 2. The party next door is noisy at midnight, long time ago it was tranquil. 3. The staffs pushed me and took away the plates just when I was finishing my dinner. Feel strange about such a rush. 4. The checking in processes weren’t smoothly I feel the staff couldn’t communicate well. 5. Some of the guests are quite loud and the live music sucks, unpleasant for ears.

Cost, couldn’t see value for money at $1700 per night. Conflicting information regarding bottle of champagne, if included in price or extra cost. Poor check out service.

Maybe an italian restaurant for future, or some european food in case if we'll travel with the kids and they don't eat spicy food.

Alila Villas is one of the most stunning properties we have ever seen. The main hotel area is incredible, beautifully designed and immaculate. The view down the infinity pool to the ocean, surrounded by the architecture and palm trees is iconic. Photos do not do justice to the stunning views. The beauty extends to the walkways to the Villas and then the Villas themselves are amazing. Perfectly designed, the layout is so practical and relaxing. You can spend all day in the villa moving from pool to day bed. It is an amazing property and exceeds expectations.

The restaurants on site are a bit of a disappointment, particularly the CIRE restaurant - it just was a bit like standard hotel food. The Warung was better but not as amazing as expected. We had travelled from Ubud where we had incredible food so the food at Alila was a bit disappointing (based on the price of the stay). As a result we chose to travel to cafes and restaurants in Uluwatu to eat which in itself wasn't a bad thing as we got to experience more. The breakfasts are included in the stay but were pretty average. Also, while the the service was friendly, it was hit or miss depending on how many people were in the restaurant. One morning we waited over an hour for our breakfast order which we discovered had been lost, so the next day we chose to go to a cafe in Uluwatu for breakfast which we enjoyed much more.

it was quiet, incredible and very zen-like. from the staff to the running water and beautiful views, the entire experience was transformational. the restaurant also provide a myriad local cuisine options! would highly recommend, in fact we would have stayed longer if we didn’t have plans on the other side of the island.

the staff, the view, the property, the spa, the poolside breakfast with the ocean view, the morning yoga with ocean view, the cycling trip, the lunch at Warung, the party at Savaya, the whole experience is exceptional; its the best hotel that I have ever been; my wife and I describe the place as paradise; will definitely revisit again!

Alila was a slice of paradise. The moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. The resort feels like there is no one around yet there is always a staff member to greet you or offer assistance. Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The staff were so warm and welcoming and the service and responsiveness was probably the best we have ever experienced.

We loved everything.

Nice property with pleasant views, rooms are very spacious and the outdoor area with the pool is quite nice and private. The spa was nice and surprisingly affordable and so was the food.

I felt there are not enough sun loungers by the pool for that many villas. Also, one restaurant was closed, and we wanted to have lunch once and there was only one table left. On another instance we wanted to have a drink at the bar before dinner, but it was full. That was a bit disappointing. I expected the staff to be super attentive and very well trained, but I think they never got our order right. Not once! Something was always forgotten, or the wrong order was brought. For the price we paid, I expected wayyyy better service! We still had a good time, but I feel like we wasted our money.

had the worst night sleep of my life as the pool noise was unacceptable. I believe the drain was blocked so all night it sounded like a gurgling coffee percolator.

We love everything that Alila Villas offers, the nature, the ambiance, the spa and yoga classes!! The staff were super helpful and the quality of the services were excellent. And finally we extended our stay to 4nights.

Service was excellent when we asked for things. restaurant was spectacular. great views and lots of sunshine.

The property was not well-maintained and looked weathered. It wasn’t a good value for the amount of money you’re spending per night. It also took a while for the staff to realize we were on our honeymoon and expected high levels of service. Once we shared feedback they delivered excellent levels of service And even had a personal butler take care of us for the day.

Breakfast was really good and so was the hotel overall. Customer service was TOP NOTCH!! Best customer service ever.

Maybe more variety in food? Other than that, everything was awesome even the food!

1.5 hour wait for lunch no pool towels initially electric sockets didn’t work the blinds have all gaps in them so the sunlight comes straight through . you will wake up at sunrise for $5,000 AUD per night it was a really disappointing stay
