Fabulous! We will be back.

Staff all so nice and friendly/professional. Location, Geraldine’s with live music. Great cocktails. Nice room. Gym and pool fantastic!!

Halls and areas outside elevators need a little detailed vacuuming in the corners and where the carpet meets the wall.

My stay was very pleasant.

All facilities and staff were very good. Most of the Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the bar staff were great! My room was very comfortable & quiet (apart from the construction noise). Geraldines Restaurant had good food and live entertainment every night.

Construction was going on all around the hotel, so it was very noisy and dusty. Also I think I've been overcharged and have emailed the hotel querying this, so hopefully it will be resolved.

Great stay and great staff

The rooms are large, and the beds are very comfortable. The staff were all so nice and professional. The shower was great with an easily adjustable temperature.

All of the "hidden" fees. The incidental fee is $200 per night and the overnight parking was $191 for three nights. They could have been mentioned somewhere, but I was not told about these fees until I checked in and checked out.

Full of bad surprises

It was packed of many surprises, they charged $63 each day for parking, plus $30 mandatory a day also for food and liquor (margaritas they said and we don’t drink), and the last surprise, they charged us for food from the mini bar, we never even touched anything about it

Rocking Comfortable Gem

The staff throughout the facility- the valets, front desk- especially Drew, cafe workers, housekeeping, pool staff- especially the waitress with the pink hair, we’re fantastic! Comfy beds, great toiletries, and terrific room view. There was construction across from the hotel, but I actually liked it since I’m from an exotic island and it added to the urban vibe that I’m not used to.

The furniture in the room needs a little TLC, the chair legs were a bit chipped and carpet was stained in a tiny area but noticeable. The robes were not very soft.

Great stay, loved the small touches that really make it stand out. Haley at the front was AMAZING!!!!! Gave us her perso

Great location and beautifully kept

There is a lot of construction around the hotel which is a little inconvenient to walk and bike through (it’s around the whole place) BUT that’s not the hotel fault whatsoever, so really just unfortunate for the location it’s in at the moment!

Overall good stay

Location has access to many restaurants and downtown nearby

There was some construction work going on near the hotel and music could be heard from outside. Hotel room recommendations were shared with the management.

Pleasurable experience!!

Hotel location was great, walking distance to kayaking, bars & restaurants. Construction could not be avoided, noise from construction was not an issue, it’s just the nature of a growing city. I loved that they supply noise machine. Everything was great at this hotel, clean, cozy & romantic ambience. The only downside is that pool gets very, very busy, which made it hard to find seating & enjoy on one of our days there. We’d gladly come back & visit again.

Busyness of pool.

there’s lots of building work going on immediately around the hotel which is a bit annoying.

Very comfortable, but surrounded by construction sites at the moment.

very comfortable environment and pleasant staff

location is surrounded by construction sites that start at 330 in the morning. I felt like this should be disclosed prior to booking. Also, the additional daily charge to get access to complementary drinks etc is unfair on those that don't drink alcohol.

Only steps from Rainey Street

Overall, the property is a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff that are very eager to assist you with any questions you may have and are always willing to lend a hand, if needed. The overall location of the property is towards the end of Austin but sits next to The Rainey Street District which is a plus if you like to party! It is a little bit of a hike to get to the capital and the attractions in that area. The hotel is well maintained and very clean.

One of my biggest complaints is not having access to a coffee pot/Keurig in the room and you could only get coffee if the downstairs coffee shop is open. I do not recall on the hotel's website all of the construction taking place on three sides of the property and was awoken before 5am with construction noises which is not what you want to hear after a night of visiting the surrounding bars. I felt as if the water pressure in the shower was very low and the shower head does not have any adjustable settings which some people enjoy. We paid extra for a "Lake View" and our view was that of a construction site, not the lake, very misleading!

Very good

loved the location, the facility was pleasant / comfortable/ well designed / reasonably nice, is right on top of the bars on Raine St and very easy walk to rest of downtown which for me was awesome since I wanted to be in the middle of the action but if you are looking for a quiet stay is the wrong place as could hear the bars until late, staff were very chill and nice / helpful, wifi worked well so was able to work effectively from the room, restaurant is decent and has reasonable vibes

very difficult to get coffee in room in the morning, wound up having to buy cold brews from a nearby convenience store and put them in the fridge for the next morning as there was no coffee machine and the staff refused to have coffee sent up despite that I was paying nearly $1k / night for the room. struck me as very odd. a bit of a black mark / deep question mark over an otherwise most satisfactory stay

Nice hotel in a convenient location, great staff and good amenities!

Smell when you walk in, free happy hour, we’ll decorated with a nice pool and good restaurant. staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable.

The high price tag was the only negative.

Wonderful hotel with top-notch amenities and service

The room was clean and spacious and the location was in walking distance to Rainey St. and a 15-minute walk to downtown. The restaurant was convenient and easy and the pool was nice too. Service was great and staff was accommodating.

This is not the hotel's fault but it is unfortunately located next to 3 construction sites building high rise apartments currently so there was noise early in the morning on Monday.

Overall, the hotel lobby was beautiful to hang out in and listen to music. Geraldine’s was great!

The breakfast cafe had great coffee, but sold out of many of the breakfast items before 9am.

The rooms had thin walls and all the elevators broke the morning of our checkout. They did allow everyone to ride down in there service elevator.

I’ll be back!

The room was great. Haley at the front desk greeted me the moment I walked in the door, checked me in, and was was amazingly helpful/friendly every time I passed through the lobby, had a question or had a request. That’s rare these days and certainly one of the reasons I’ll be back the next time I'm in town for business or to visit my daughter.

The construction next door was kind of a bummer, but is what it is. Also a bummer, there was no late night room service on the weekends. Ends at 11 pm. Some sort of 24 hour mini pantry or market would be a nice addition.
