Beautiful and classy hotel in every aspect!

Rooms could use updating, however were spacious and comfortable.

This hotel is lovely - I liked the convenience of the bar/lobby, restaurants, parking. We stayed in the Historic side and our room was beautiful & comfortable. I will definitely stay here again

There was a used glass (champagne from when I arrived) that was there the entire 3 days, bottled water was not replenished, tray of dirty dishes from someone’s room service that was left in hallway by elevator for 2 days.

Every time we stay at the Pfister it’s perfect.

There was nothing not to like.

It is a beautiful hotel steeped in history. The staff are friendly and especially the conciërge who was extremely helpful in providing me with useful information and tips. My room, 324, was large and very comfortable. The bed and bedding were excellent.

However much I liked my room I did not like the fact that it was facing the street which at times was noisy.

Beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff! This was one of many family stays at the Pfister and each time we leave happy and wanting to return.

Such a beautiful historic building. Rooms were modern and comfortable. Great on-site restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Pricey but well worth it - very opulent. Great location, walking distance from everything. We visited for Adepticon and there was a shuttle from the hotel to the convention center which was very convenient.

The location is absolutely ideal for walking around the downtown area and visiting the Milwaukee Art Museum! We were also able to easily walk to many restaurants, Riverwalk, Public Market and other attractions - and I traveled with my 81 year old mother.

Dirty dishes sitting out side of our room upon entry. We thought the room could be occupied. Many dirty dishes sat out side other rooms as well

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were very comfortable.

There was nothing I found unsatisfactory about my stay

The service was excellent. It was squeaky clean and the staff were wonderful. The coffee was good and plentiful.

The food was lackluster. I had avocado toast and it was pretty underwhelming. Not sure if it’s a reflection of today’s food prices, but I think it was $18.00 for a very small piece of toast with a bit of avocado smashed on top and one over medium egg.

I loved this place! It was beautiful, the location was nice, the price (with a booking discount) was reasonable, guest service was on point, and champagne on arrival was a plus. My espresso martini at the bar was delicious. My absolutely only complaint was the hairball in my shower, but other than that, it was a perfect weekend getaway. I hope I can plan another stay!

Room and view was great. Very comfortable. Stayed on the newer side so access to parking garage was quick and easy.

Shower fixture had a leak issue between two shower heads. Otherwise room was great.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with old world charm and staff who were delightfully helpful. Rooms were comfortable and well provisioned. The hot shower was just perfect for a 20F cold day!

This is one of the old grand hotels still alive that values the individual customer. I so appreciated their care and concern for our needs and because of that and the beautiful restoration we will return in 2 weeks.

Common areas were gorgeous - albeit a bit crowded. we lodged in a suite so there was ample room.

What's not to like? the crowded reception area

I love the decor, the history, the people-it’s just an amazing place to stay

It was an incredible stay. The Pfister has figured out how to combine history, timeless elegance and modern conveniences. Being in the lobby transports you to an earlier time--opulent, classy, artistic and still as comfortable as any modern hotel. We definitely will be back next time we are in Milwaukee.

The Pfister Hotel is an iconic and classic beauty in downtown Milwaukee. The lobby decor is absolutely stunning. We were there during the Christmas holiday and the decor was gorgeous and well appointed! The newly renovated rooms were very pleasing with attention to comfort and detail. All the hotel dining / bar venues were great with delicious food and drink! All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Parking garage elevator conveniently opened into the hotel lobby.

It was a beautiful hotel with the kind staff willing to help and so very friendly.

Beautiful hotel and everything was perfect.

Later in the night there was a lot going on in the hotel with Christmas parties, etc so it did get a little congested and was hard to get a drink at the bar but totally understandable.

The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was extremely nice, and they even gave us welcome glasses of champagne when we arrived. The rooms were a large size, and they were clean and fully stocked.

We enjoyed the room and the beauty of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great and the amenities very nice. It was a very busy and crowded weekend at the hotel.

However are room was on the 2nd floor near the lobby and the bar was open with people being loud until almost 2 am. I would stay again but ask for a room higher up.

I liked the size of the room. The sitting room plus the separate bedroom was well above my expectations. The lounge in the lobby with the fireplace was a fantastic place to relax with a drink and small plates. This historical hotel is one of my all-time favorites. I prefer the old ones to the new anytime! I worked at this hotel when I was at the university but never stayed there. Since I was in Milwaukee for a wedding I was determined to stay there. I was not disappointed!

We stayed during the last days of the 2024 Presidential campaign and due to rallies and candidates staying at the Pfister, we had to cancel plans for dinner and stay in the hotel all day. Not the fault of the facility.
