Liked the breakfast and common area.

It was a little bit too cold in the room during the night and heaters didn't work properly.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is well connected.

They have paid lockers in case you want to store your luggage before or after your stay but i think that should be included at least for the day you are leaving. The room I was staying was untidy, dirty plates and beer around. My bed was clean but everything else wasn’t, the smell was awful.

Great location. I loved this area. Fresh fruit market in front of hostel. I liked the staff there. I stayed in a 4-bed unit and it was very cozy. Beds have curtains and I found my room very quiet. The lobby is nice and doubles as a bar/cafe. Roof top is beautiful!

Had to pay for luggage storage which feels annoying. Rooms could have had better ventilation but that's normal for Paris I find. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest but I didn't mind. Just overall feels a bit pricey for a hotel but c'est la vie i guess

The bed had curtains for privacy and big windows for natural light.

It was a little bit dusty here and there. But overall didn’t bother me that much.

Lovely neighborhood with locals of diverse communities around perfect connectivity to all places of importance. Loved the live performances in the week and the staff. Will definitely stay here again.

The room was very tight and small.

Not far away from center and metro station, nice and clean room. The stuff is quite helpful, I had a possibility to print my boarding pass on reception. Beds are comfortable

I never seen the situation when you can't leave your luggage for two hours before check-in without paying for it. And the prices for luggage storage are really expensive. So the first day I had to go for a walk with my suitcase. You have to pay also for towels, lock etc etc. Somebody forgot clothes and a little bag in my locker and I said about it to receptionist, but they just didn't care at all. So after 3 days all this stuff just remains in the room. Check-out is at 11:00, but they started to clean rooms at 10:00, so if you are tired and wanna sleep a little bit more or you have to pack you bags, it's impossible.

The beds were comfortable and I liked the privacy with the curtains, as well as the lockers (don't forget your padlock). It's easily accessible from metro Belleville and there's lots of restaurants and shops around. There's a bedlight and power station.

The breakfast is extremely overpriced for what you get, unless you just want a quick breakfast in the morning without going anywhere. There's no vegan options other than an apple as well. For gluten allergic people you have an apple and some yoghurt/raisins, but not much else. There were cleaners but they were calling while on duty and just swooped the floor with some type of bleach, leaving behind the hairs and nasty's in the toilets and showers. Also there's dirt under the beds that seems old. The rooms are tiny. Also, if you're at the first floor you might be disturbed by the noise at night. Paris is expensive, so it's the cheapest option you get, but there's a lot of room to improve to make the money and experience more worthwile.

Beds were clean and the place overall had a good ambience. Nice thing about the bed is that there is enough space above to sit straight. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was decent. You can get hot water at the reception, but there is no Kitchen. That's a downside. Location wise, it was ok, the metro station was right near the hotel and I took it to commute to different parts of Paris. Just use google maps and check for the metro route. It's easy and convenient. I took the metro at as easrly as 5:30 AM and I felt safe.

The surrounding was a bit sketchy at night. However, it was very safe inside the hostel and there were a handful restaurants (but limited food options) around.

Not only did The People make for a great trip, it was also the atmosphere, the cappuccinos and the croissants, it’s a great location for everything and the area is authentic too. Can’t recommend you highly enough and I’m already stating think about my next trip, thank you again :)

My only dislike and I managed, was the high bunk was a real struggle to get in and out of. You were full the first night and offered to move me for the next whic was kind, next time I will request a lower one for sure.

location is really good but not the best. metro is really close but the area is not really with Paris vibe.

there was water on the floor in the bathroom. one night door was closed so I had to wait 30-40 minutes to get inside

The staff was nice and always willing to help the best they could. A large storage space you could put your valuables in and lock with your own lock. The breakfast was good.

They do not have a laundry room. The room I was in was a little small, though it was manageable. At times it got kind of ripe (smelly) in the room, fortunately, the windows could be opened a crack. The breakfast could have some different things on different days, though it is not that big of a deal. The XL breakfast ended a little early for me (10:00.)

Well designed and organized - comfortable dorms and clean modern bathrooms . Friendly helpful staff and a good vibe in the common space on ground floor and breakfasts/petite Dejeuner popular too .

I’m not sure if it was a bug or a mosquito bite, but I got a few red bumps on my arms and legs, and they’re really itchy.

Rooms were decent and clean, the bar at the reception has a lively atmosphere and is a great place to hang out. The rooftop has a great view of the city. All in all this is a good place. It was also conveniently located not too far from the metro station.

The dorm room was very warm even in September - there was just a tiny window in my room and it got really stuffy in there even with the air con already on. There was a mosquito in my room so I didn't sleep well at all.

The bathroom from the top floor room had a bad smell coming from the drain. The smell would be very unpleasant all around the room every time someone opened the bathroom door.

One person in my room was smoking at night on a balcony and left the door open, the smell was strong enough for me to wake up and I had difficulty sleeping after.

the location is excellent — very easy to reach the central areas of Paris with just one bus or metro/train ride. The rooftop is beautiful and has a great vibe, the reception is open 24h and the staff were friendly. The bathroom was clean, the room was spotless, and it even had air conditioning, which made the stay much more comfortable.

I made a small mistake when booking, as I didn’t notice there was no guest kitchen available. At check-in I asked the receptionist where the kitchen was, and she told me something like “upstairs/rooftop,” so I thought there was one. I left my things in the room, went to the supermarket and bought food that needed to be cooked. When I came back, I couldn’t find the kitchen anywhere. I asked again at reception, and then another staff member told me there was actually no kitchen for guests. That was a bit frustrating, because I ended up with food I couldn’t cook. I asked if at least I could store two small items (hamburger patties) in their fridge just until checkout, but they said no. I even asked if they could heat them quickly in the microwave, but was told it’s only for their paid restaurant use. It wasn’t a big deal, but it felt a bit inflexible, especially since the confusion started with their own staff giving me the wrong information.

Unexpectedly very comfortable stay. Was afraid when recognized that it is a hostel, but turned very good and nice. We had a small double room at the top floor with access to common terrace providing good view and absolutely not noisy at evening and night. The room was small, but comfortable enough and who cares about the room size visiting Paris :) Coffee maker and kettle were provided and AC allowed to be comfortable during quite hot weather. Communication and check-in were simple and quick. The location is convenient being not far from Gare du Nord and close metro stations.

Nice staff, speaks decent english. Beds are big and comfortable. Private wall outlet next to your bed is great. Location is on small walking distance from the metro.

The lockers in the room are very loud. Even when not in use, when someone turned around in their bed the locker door makes a lot of noise what was very frustrating. The mans badroom also had a stinky smell

- bathroom (outside the room, not clear when booking) had cleanliness issues, and it was the first hostel I have been to that did not have any shampoo or body wash (not even for sale) - ambiance a bit lacking, with very few social events (once every 3-4 days) - breakfast quality (and its ratio to price) could be improved: the big breakfast option (10 eur) did not even have any eggs or other hot items, and the small option (5 eur) came with rather stale pastries and only americano as the coffee choice. I had a much better experience with for a bit over 4 eur at a boulangerie nearby.

I arrived at midnight and found open bars and people around making it safe to walk alone. The hostel was clean, and my bed and pillow were super comfortable. I walked around the area in the morning, especially towards Pyrenees station and it's lovely.

Very clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. Easy check in and check out process. The location was very good as there is a nearby metro station, so even far away destinations were not so hard to reach.

The first night there was some loud roommates, but the other nights were just fine.

Everything was clean , staff were nice. Would recommend !

Missing many amenities that are usually standard in a hostel (free bag storage, kitchen, laundry). Bed was very uncomfortable.

only one disappointment.i booked the superior dorm for 2 nights on the top floor for its space and extras but didnt get it! turned up on the day and room had been given to someone else despite my booking confirmation . Ended up accepting 1st floor dark 8 bed dorm out of desperation which was a big let down and then asked to move to different 4 bed dorm on 2nd night due to loudest snorer I have ever heard (which is why i wanted the superior in the first place) staff was apologetic and at least they gave me free breakfast (and padlock) hostel and people were nice and was a comfortable place for 2 nights but bit let down by the booking error

Comfy, private beds with curtains. Good vibes. Quality bathroom outside of rooms which is good for silence. Well located and breakkie was nice. Staff are friendly and keen to help

Modern clean place with all amenities. There is a locker underneath your bed that you can roll a small size suitcase into and curtains around each bunk so you have your privacy and a few other thoughtful additions that add to convenience. Close to the metro so you can get around easily.

- Lounge is very well Set up - really Cool Outside Seating area -The climate machine in the room cools down efficiently when setup at highest level (6) -Mega Helpful Reception staff, helped me to find suspects of a theft of my Tablet in the Lobby right away, they did everything possible, great People!

-Lounge Area could use some chairs in reserve to seat more people - One of the Showers at the second floor had a slightly odd smell

The staff were all lovely people, and the rooms were clean and comfortable for a 4 person dorm.

Cleaner restrooms and room 105 you could hear the door slamming every time someone went to the toliet.

The vibes of the hotel is really good fo chillin.

The common toilet is only one. And its really uncomfortable. Toilet does is smelly. I belive the smell sits for long time it is not only during the time i use it.

Comfortable hostel, walkable to Canal Saint-Martin, with comfortable/solidly built bunks-- no shaking/wobbling when people move around! Plenty of storage in the under-bed lockers.

Elevator was often a long wait, and the styling was less aesthetic/more utilitarian than it looked in pictures (some of the decor and linens and things don't match photos) but comfortable overall. Remember to bring your own lock, towel, and shower shoes-- they sell/rent those things but at a steep markup.
