“Hotel Monaco — a cobblestone’s throw from Philadelphia’s historic attractions — is a layer cake of whimsical furnishings and audacious colours baked in the mould of an early-20th-century bank building. Pleasant

Absolutely adorable room. Very dog friendly and easy to navigate to.

Dj was playing loudly across the hall for 5 hours during my stay which made resting difficult until after about 10:30 pm

Pleasant

Cute vibe and great location and super helpful staff

My bed sheet had a huge yellow stain on it, some of the wallpaper was peeling, and there were stains on the lounge couches in the reception hall

Unique hotel in the heart of Old City.

The location was perfect and the room was great. The optional plant for our room was a great addition.

The partial shower door, lots of water got out.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location

This is a gorgeous hotel in the perfect location to see all the revolutionary stuff. I loved the decor; so many interesting pieces. The drawback is the cost and the necessity of using valet. Sometimes, though, you pay for convenience. It was so easy to get to the Liberty Bell at opening and then make our reservation at Independence Hall. From there, we walked to the Museum of the American Revolution, the Betsy Ross house, Elfreth’s Alley, and Franklin’s grave. We also had lunch next door at the Bourse Food Hall. This hotel is about location!

The price was more than we usually pay, but the convenience can’t be beat.

Very good

Awesome decor. Bar in the restaurant attached was super cool. Valet parking was just perfection and a definite expense to pay for what they do for you.

Shower in the bathroom was alittle awkward as it was only blocked by a half wall of glass. Not the worst thing in the world and it looked pretty, but my hot showers were a tad drafty haha

Steps away from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell

Historic building turned into decent hotel rooms. Hallways reminded us of the hotel from the Shining but we were happy with the room. Four people shared the two beds, bathroom was large and accommodating- tub shower. A/C was cold and did what we asked it to do!

The hall ways were a bit dark. Not a fan of carpet on hotel floors. Room was clean though.

Very good

The room was excellent and the handicapped bathroom was top notch. The beds were very comfy. The view out the large windows was wonderful. And of course the access to historical sites could not have been better.

I can't believe your refrigerator did not have a freezer. We had to carry insulin with us on a long trip. I counted on being able to refreeze the ice packs at night and your refrigerator was poor. For me, this colored the whole stay. Also, given the price we were paying I don't see why you couldn't provide two bath towels per person. The luggage drop off and pick up situation was very annoying. I needed access to my car overnight, so valet parking was not a reasonable option for me. The valet crowded out people arriving and leaving and wasmes0cially difficult for our handicapped party member. I appreciated having the extra room in the handicapped bathroom. Many places are too small and you can't even enter the bathroom with a wheelchair. I do wish that the handicapped room was closer to the elevator. but that is often a problem on a redesign and our room was so beautiful it was worth the trek. I am sorry Chestnut street has garbage on it now like Market Street and the greenery was not as lovely as I remember it.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice security measures.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooftop lounge was very nice.

We were not impressed with our meals at the restaurant. I had the pasta dish and was disappointed it was just a bowl of pasta. No bread, no side salad, and expensive. My husband got a chicken dinner that was a simple meal and ok in flavor but expensive for what he got.

A nice place to stay for a short getaway in Philadelphia.

The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were poor. Excellent location. Interesting decor in hotel and room. The breakfast at the restaurant was tasty. Elevators were very quick.

Valet parking very expensive. Pillows on bed were unsupportive. No toast included with omelette at breakfast. Seems like nickel and dime situation. No coffee service in the room.

Great stay

The location to museums and restaurants is perfect when visiting Philadelphia. The rooms are pretty big and very clean. The staff was very friendly.

I really liked everything. If I had to nitpick I did noticed the hallway carpets were stained.
