Far from attractive locations

Dorm rooms didn’t seem secure for my son that is sent traveling on a large group. Air conditioning not working.

Decent clean room

The staff was great! Very helpful. Breakfast was hearty and delicious.

Not as many common areas as we had hoped for. Just a dark breezeway of the rooftop bar, which was too expensive to go to more than once. AC didn’t work in our room the first two nights, but they switched us for the last two nights. Was pretty expensive for a double.

The location was a little far away from main area but okay. Bed was comfortable.

Privacy was lacking. I hated that almost everyone in the room has a direct view into my bed. Especially because it wasn’t just people my age.

I like the atmosphere and the staff was very helpful, The room was very organised and clean and the bar was full of energy and nice parties 🎉.

Rooms are spacious.

The location is a little far away from most attractions and the beds creaked a lot. The beds did not have curtains.

There were bed bugs, and I could not sleep well all 3 nights. I don't know why it is so even after you clean the rooms daily. May be you need to change foam bed mattress. 🛌 I still have a lot of bed bug marks on my arms and legs.

I liked very much the location and the area itself it’s nice with plenty of transportation options.

I didn’t like where the rooms you are sharing with others and the snoring was too much that I couldn’t sleep for during my stay

Nice place? The room with a terrace had a beautiful view and a clear sight of the Eiffel Tower!

The location is excellent, being close to a metro station. The price was reasonable, and I appreciated the air conditioning and the availability of lockers. I requested a lower bunk bed, and they accommodated my request. I also rented a towel for my stay, and they informed me it was free of charge and could be exchanged for a clean one every day, which was perfect.

I stayed in a 10-bed mixed dormitory room, where my allocated bed was on the opposite side of the room. This location made it difficult to sleep as roommates entering the room would cause the aisle light to hit my eyes, waking me up multiple times in the middle of the night. The pillow was too small for adults, and the mattress had something hard in the middle, likely a broken spring. For a 10-bed mixed dormitory, having just one toilet, one shower, and one sink is definitely insufficient. You often have to wait just to brush your teeth. The hostel environment was also somewhat uncomfortable, as staff constantly monitored everyone entering the building and repeatedly asked for the hostel card, making you feel like you were being hunted by the Gestapo. For example, if you got off the elevator to ask something at reception, you would be asked for your card again when returning to the elevator. Additionally, the internet speed was only 5 Mbps, which is insufficient. However, aside from these issues, the receptionist was very helpful.

Just going back , but than you expect a certain coziness. There is a good atmosphere ...

No quiet seating.screaming out of control everywhere. Very expensive, compared with Madrid where its half the price of paris...food was not good at all. No sorry I was not happy...

Staff were very friendly and it was a great location, really convenient for walking everywhere we wanted to go. Good size room

Poor facilities for the price. Barely slept in the bed and the shower just dribbles on you. Also rooftop terrace and other key USPs are only open a couple of hours a day

The shower had black mold throughout and the beds and a few elements left behind from a lack of cleaning. For example, fake eye lashes were stuff to my pillow.

the location is very good. Close to the metro and the acomodation is very confy.

Not just me but my roomies also booked the place thinking the rooftop is part of the experience of booking generator paris hostel but turns out when you go to the rooftop the lady just say you have to buy a drink or something to hang over there. I also asked the staff and they confirmed so if you're booking this place thinking the same, I would recommed find somewhere else cheaper or closer once you won't have acess unless buying something at the bar.

The Hostel is big and spacious and has all you need for a short stay in the city. The check-in is fast and easy. There is an option for food, drink, luggage storage, washing, etc. Metro 2 is within a few meters with easy access to the main attractions. The beds are comfortable and the room is spacious. Shower good.

I have been a regular at the hostel for short stays in Paris for the past years. For me, the atmosphere is a little on the way down as is the cleanliness and the staff seems a bit tired and uninterested in the customers. But that may be understandable in this mass tourism. The rooftop bar with this exclusive view of Paris used to be filled with people but now there are only a few guests. Also the restaurant I think could do a lot better, both the style and the food. The place would gain a lot from updating that. The female dormitory curtains could be changed, the corridors be cleaner, and the maintenance should be taken better care of.

I liked how spacious the room was (8 beds dorm), it was rather easy to get my stuff, get ready for the day and not disturb anyone. The room was fully booked throughout my stay yet I have not experienced any space-related discomfort even once. The showers and toilet were nice and clean, I also liked having a sink in the room, so you can brush your teeth or do your skincare routine without occupying the restroom.

The rooftop bar was a letdown. It is closed in the mornings, doesn't offer any non-alcoholic beverages and when I wanted to sit down for a bit there - I was told that they only serve alcoholic drinks and food, no tea or coffee and only buying customers are welcome. It is an underutilized space in the mornings and many people would enjoy having breakfast or coffee with a nice rooftop view.
