Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy, Florence

The hotel has a perfect location in downtown Florence close to many amazing attractions It is very clean the breakfast is excellent and the reception staff are extremely welcoming with a warm friendly smile

Nothing serious but I think the concierge team needs some training to be more polite and to show more willingness to assist new guests and respect their needs I would also suggest bringing in some new enthusiastic staff members who are eager to excel in their roles

Upon check out I was surprised that I am being charged 500 euros extra for breakfast of the previous guest and 100 euros for two cups of coffee and a daily tip of 65 euros of my stay. This is super weird and shady of a hotel in this price range. Be carcere upon checking out and check what are you being charged for

We stayed for three nights. From the moment we arrived we felt immediately welcome. Throughout the stay the staff recognised us and called us by name. On one occasion driving back to the hotel in our car the road we normally went down was blocked and Eugene the doorman guided us in by phone for nearly ten minutes, driving in the centre of Florence is a bit tricky. The room was beautifully appointed and the housekeeping was excellent. Biscuits and copious amounts of water left in room. Shower and bathroom best so far in our trip across Italy. Breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and staff very attentive, never waited for a moment. We would usually have a drink in the evening before setting out for a meal and again great service, drinks served with olives and nuts etc. A proper 5 star hotel slap bang in the middle of Florence.

Nothing really. Excellent. We were very impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. To a person they were great. The room was very comfortable. 2 bathrooms was a bonus.

The place is great! The staff was amazing and always helpful, specially the team in the front door that were very nice, friendly and helpful. Irene’s restaurant food was also very good!

I could do more days there ;) a bit pricey but totally worth it…

Your prices are way too high , I have spent Euro 1500 for One night . Versus 2 years ago your highly rate went uo 300% !!!!!!!

- The price - Access to the hotel as I’m driving my own car ,even though I was reassured by the hotel staff they will notify the police department of my car plate not to fine me for any driving thr. Traffic restricted zone and any area pendolae , but still the people in the streets were very upset as I was driving in pedestrian zone . That made me a bit uncomfortable 😣

Breakfast was amazing. The best location. In the middle of everything that you need to do and see. It was perfect.
