This was an amazing vacation hotel. The location is right next to the beach. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast is top notch and the staff are very plentiful and helpful.

Loved the view of the beach and Sugarloaf mountain from my room. The hotel is very nicely located for the beach - they even provided towels and beach chairs. It was very easy to get to all the attractions and nearby restaurants.

Deluxe room was spacious, bed comfortable, water pressure strong, breakfast options good, convenient to Ipanema and Copacabana

Fitness facility was cramped and limited. Ocean view on 2nd floor not impressive Could not accommodate early check in or provide adequate facility for me to clean up before business meetings. Hotels in Ipanema have been much more accommodating. Stayed for 5 nights

Staff went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. Door staff, check in, restaurant, bar, room service, cleaners - were all professional, courteous and friendly. Thank you! Great breakfast, good location. Pool deck has a great view too!

Fantastic hotel with great facilities. The staff were very attentive. The room was very spacious and bathroom clean. Location was excellent - on Copacabana beach and the hotel provided towels in reception so you can bring these to the beach. The rooftop pool was nice - a great viewpoint of the Sugar loaf mountain and the rest of the beach. Good WiFi. The food in the restaurant was amazing!

Perfect location, extensive and delicious breakfast, beautiful room overlooking Copacabana Beach, and friendly and helpful staff. A special thank you to João Marcelo Pais, the hotel’s Butler, who spent over 2 hours helping us after our domestic flight from Iguazu Falls to Buenos Aires was cancelled due to the Argentina union workers’ transportation ground strike. João was extremely patient and indispensable during a stressful time, and helped us find another flight into BA on a later date (via São Paulo) which would hopefully not be cancelled since it was an international flight. Thanks, João! You were right and we successfully made it to BA. We are so grateful to you for saving our vacation!

The pool bar food isn’t the best, the chicken was so dry we had to send it back but just received the same again.

The breakfast options were exceptional, the room service food was excellent. The housekeeper Marcela was super attentive, she really was the biggest factor in making my stay feel so welcome always going above and beyond when cleaning our room. The attentive staff was my favorite part of it all! The service is definitely top notch! 5 stars all throughout well deserved. I highly enjoyed that the bathroom had a bidet and that the lobby had a bar.

I have no real bad things to say about this hotel. The only thing I wish was that the pool was open for longer.

We stayed here with our family of four, our twins are 7-years old. The breakfast and the rooftop pool and bar were the absolute highlights of this stay. The rooms were super nice, we had two rooms connected to each other and the rooms wew perfect in size, nice and clean and beautiful bathrooms.

Nothing to dislike. They charge extra for the breakfast (not included in the Booking.com rate) but totally worth it!

The pool was very small and crowded so difficult to use, but luckily the location right on Copacabana makes up for this, if you are happy to just be at the beach and not pool.

We were given an amazing room for one night, but then had to change rooms. The first night was awesome huge bathtub and ocean views. Italian restaurant was easy. Service was great.

The people at the reception are not really interested in helping you , I was bothered by the fact that I asked them to make a reservation for me at a restaurant, they told me that they didn't have space, but still I went there and managed to get in, I asked them to make a reservation for me at a spa, they told me that they didn't have availability and yet again I managed and did it alone. I asked in advance at 12 midnight for a cake with "happy birthday" for my husband in the room I have received it the next day at 3 p.m. We wanted tickets for the match on Maracana and they asked me 2000 BRL for 1 VIP tickets and we paid 600 BRL for the same tickets at the Flamengo official ticket office so they asked more than 3 times the money

The hotel is lovely with a fantastic rooftop bar and pool overlooking Copacabana. They also served our favourite Caipirinhas in Rio. Our room was spacious and had a gorgeous view of Copacabana. What's most important about the Windsor though is the staff. They are all so lovely and go out of their way to make the stay special. From Joao on the front desk to Rodrigo at the bar, the great cleaning staff and the fantastic chaps on the front door who offered us help and guidance throughout our trip.
