Great location on Copacabana beachfront. Good value for money. Nice rooftop pool with good bar service. Room was spacious and clean. Decent WiFi. Plenty of seating at breakfast. Staff were generally friendly and helpful except a couple. Housekeeping were very efficient.

Lack of vegan options at breakfast and no allergy labelling. The lady at the breakfast check in was quite offhand almost rude despite us only really needing to speak to her briefly to check our room number. She was the exception though as most staff were very nice.

Fabulous location, very comfortable bed and lovely rooftop bar overlooking Copacabana Beach. A Every member of staff was smiley and helpful. Also liked the provision of sun chairs and parasols on the beach near to the hotel.

Coffee in the room was chargeable and that's disappointing. It's not a cheap hotel and a couple of coffees in the room each day is negligible. Other extras, water and chocolates were provided and were appreciated.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The rooftop pool was an oasis from the excitement on Copacabana.

Breakfast was excellent but becomes crowded at peak times. Location is excellent for Copacabana. Roof top pool, bar & bar meals a perfect place to spend an evening, but little shade during the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Local shops and bakery within five minutes walk

The front desk recommended several restaurants and helped us book a great one. The bellman was also very friendly and helpful . Uber works everywhere and even a return taxi accepted credit cards do no cash needed

Was surprised to be charged for coffee as part of the mini-bar. Usually this is complimentary in every hotel I have stayed, 3,4, and 5 start properties. Bed was a bit worn and had a sway in the middle.

Well positioned at the end of Copacabana beach and easy walk to Ipanema. Staff were incredibly helpful. Lovely bar by the pool which stayed open late to relax in an evening.

We had an excellent stay at the Windsor Miramar. The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach, and the hotel offers great facilities, all very clean and well maintained. The service was outstanding, especially from Nicolás and the front desk team, who were always attentive and made sure everything was perfect. They also provided great recommendations for tours and helped us book reservations at some of the best restaurants in Rio. A hotel we would definitely recommend — we look forward to coming back!

We had several days in Rio after a cruise. This hotel was a nice stay. The rooms are comfortable plus they have beach access with chairs and umbrellas AND a great roof top pool and bar with food. The restaurant is good here too. We would stay again.

The level of service is the utmost of a luxury stay

We had a wonderful stay at Miramar by Windsor in Rio. Everything was great from start to finish. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, with a partial ocean view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, which was a nice touch, although it’s good to know that the capsules are charged separately. The hotel organized a cake and champagne for our celebration in the room at a scheduled time, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The staff at the reception and the bellboys were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were always ready to assist with anything we needed. The bellboys even opened the doors of our Uber cars when we arrived and left, which made us feel truly welcomed. During check-in, we were also treated to an espresso and a glass of prosecco. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding — honestly the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced. There was an impressive variety of options, and they even offered prosecco at breakfast. The rooftop pool was amazing: comfortable, clean, and with delicious caipirinhas from the bar. It was the perfect place to relax. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were so so NICE! They made us feel comfortable and cared for. Very very clean! They had excellent reception area, filled with tons of staff that were so helpful with questions or opening the doors for you. Very very wonderful hotel. Highly recommend!! Awesome location too no need to uber to the beach it’s right there! We were three girls and had a great time in the superior triple (twin beds), I thought it was a great size and everyone had room to open suitcases and feel comfortable. Probably my fav hotel I’ve stayed in outside the US

The location is perfect, right on the beach. The staff are very helpful and the breakfasts are magnificent.

The staff, the service, the location, the comfort of the bed, the view, the noise levels, the AC, the breakfast, the rooftop area, the pool, the food, the drink, couldn't recommend highly enough.

As an Englishman travelling, there was no kettle in the room, but when I requested one they were able to provide it. Be aware though that there are two different types of plug sockets, a low and a high voltage one, so just make sure you check the voltage limit on any of the devices you plug in.

I love this hotel and I will stay there again. They have everything you need in the room. Good breakfast. The location is amazing. I had a room with an ocean view and it was incredible - I saw ocean waves from my window. They have very good rooftop bar (it is small, but ok) The personnel is also very good

Superb hotel with amazing staff. We were welcomed with coffee and champagne, all the workers are really kind and speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. The room was gorgeous, very clean, modern, with everything we needed.

I stay in this hotel every year in January. It is Good hotel, safe, modern, clean. Helpful staff. Perfect location, just in front of Copacabana posto 5. Excellet buffet breakfast. Good sauna. Good restaurant located within the premises.

Staff incredibly warm. Daniela was particularly wonderful with our check-in. We arrive early and since I'm pregnant, she managed to get us early check-in which went smoothly. We had a superior ocean view room which was stunning. Location was excellent for working and taking Uber to all main attractions. Food was good as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will come back.

Copacabana beach is quite smelly, would recommend spending the day in Leblon or Barra da Tijuca.

The hotel is located on Copacabana beach which is ideal if you want to go to the beach a lot. Every famous tourist spot was maximum 30 mins away in the traffic. Breakfast was good, there were many choices. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. There is a rooftop pool as well, it is small but the views of the beach are amazing. We stayed here twice already and would return again.

We really liked the LUXURIOUS breakfasts, the friendly staff, the clean rooms, and the nice view. A nice bonus was the slippers and bathrobe, a bottle of water every day, and a chocolate bar after cleaning.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but of the city as a whole: literally a few meters from the hotel, CRIMINAL GANGS of young people are already roaming around, attacking tourists (we were attacked and had a necklace stolen, but we managed to get it back), while the police do nothing!

Miramar is a small five star hotel with staff who work hard to get to know their guests and deliver a first class personal service. They deliver on all counts with extra nice touches like delivering a small fruit bowl to the beach free for guests, providing drinks on arrival and free good quality chocolates daily. The rooms are excellent as are all meals, in particular breakfast.

The gym could have been a little larger.

The room was spacious but maybe a little dated. It was however spotless. Paid extra for a side sea view - don’t bother there isn’t really a side sea view due to trees. More umbrellas around pool would be a bonus.

Wow, what an amazing hotel! The breakfast was fantastic with something for everyone, the staff were amazing and the pool is outstanding. Daniella at reception was amazing with my husband ( who was learning Portuguese) she was so patient and explained things in Portuguese and English, she really is an asset to the hotel. It's been along time sense we have stayed somewhere, where everything was perfect, the door portor ( natao) was brilliant, he could not do enough for everyone, going above and beyond. Well done Windsor miramar, exceptional service

The staff where amazing but lacked that extra mile characteristic. I informed the team that it is was my daughters 18th and our 21 anniversary but we did not receive that 5 star celebration. Or congratulations.

Overall, the hotel is excellent, and our stay was truly memorable. The facilities, service, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations, and the experience as a whole was extraordinary. We would like to especially highlight Caio and the young Carlo for their constant help and kindness throughout our stay. A special thank you as well to Djaci for his excellent service and warm treatment during our dinners at the hotel, and to Patrick for his outstanding service during the afternoons and evenings. We would like to give very special recognition to Jairan Andrade, who was absolutely incredible from the very first day. Jairan provided us with the best advice and recommendations, helping us enjoy an amazing trip in Rio de Janeiro. His professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made a real difference in our experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. As a constructive point for improvement, the only area that could benefit from some attention is the front desk service. We had to complete the check-in process twice and received conflicting information regarding payment conditions. Additionally, we experienced recurring issues with our room keys over five days, which required us to return to the front desk daily for assistance. There were also some inconsistencies with bathroom amenities. Improving coordination and service at the front desk would further elevate an already excellent hotel experience.
