We travel a great deal for work and pleasure so have a pretty good perspective, world wide, of hotel quality and value. Miramar Windsor Copacabana was excellent on all levels including location and 5 Star breakfast. Don't miss the roof top bar - the view is superior. Hospitality royalty! Thank you ever so much

My only tiny negative comment is charging, p/ "coffee pod used," for using the Nespresso coffee maker in the room. It is indeed a minor charge but have NEVER been to a hotel anywhere in the world charging for this. It is not the money but it does not seem befitting a property of this quality.

The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I’ve never experienced service to this level in my life. We were incredibly impressed! The location was fantastic, but on top of everything, it was one of the few places in Rio where we felt safe. If you’re visiting Rio, we can’t recommend this place enough. It’s worth every cent!

Everything! We spent 5 nights at this awesome hotel. Across from the beach, but central to everything around Rio. Staff were exceptional and rooms are huge. Breakfast had a huge variety. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend and would visit again!

The hotel is in a great location, a few steps from the beach. The staff is very nice and professional. The room was very comfortable, nice bed, great hot shower, thick towels, everything was great really, I would stay here again for sure. There is an Italian restaurant connected to the hotel that is top notch! I would highly recommend everyone try it.

Exceptional staff, very clean hotel! Beach was across the road but that did not take away from the experience! Hotel provided beach towel and has a stand on the beach for umbrellas and chairs! They even had small packs of mixed fruits provided free on the first day on the beach! Copacabana beach is to die for! Wave after wave! It was a great holiday with my adult daughters!! Unforgettable memories! I never had the hotel meals as I am not a breakfast person and preferred to eat out trying out different local delicacies!!

What’s there not to like

Amazing staff, amazing rooftop

Almost 200€ the room per night but you have to pay coffee in the room. It is a bit too light. Equipment in the room could be more modern. Air dryer is plugged but not enough leeway to use it properly. Rooms could benefit if a better soundproofing (we were at the 4th floor which was also a bit disappointing as we had an executive room)

Well staffed and very helpful, Clean and was in a great location. Across the road from Post 5 Copacabana, and a short walk from Ipanema Beach. Plus the hotel have a section at the beach, where the have chairs and umbrella’s and provide Towels

Loved the location and the view from our room. Staff were excellent, very helpful and informative. Felt very safe.

Housekeeping was a little lax on a day to day basis. All good when we arrived but then only little was done each day.

We held a team gathering at this venue — stayed at the hotel, had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and also booked a tour through the reception. Everything was organized in the best possible way.

Excellent location Beach facilities across the road

Room - switches for lights - had to walk to front door to turn off. Couldn’t find master switch near bed. Charging for ice! Our room fridge had been turned off. We had no ice

Excellent location, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. For instance, they keep someone at the beach in front to help us with towels, food, etc. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, and the shower might have been the best I’ve ever seen! We didn’t even know there was a pool available (and they allow full access during the entire day of checkout, which is really nice).

I stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the breakfast — a wonderful spread with plenty of variety that I looked forward to each morning. The room offered a stunning ocean view right in front of Copacabana Beach, though it was a bit smaller than I had expected. The amenities were great overall.

I really appreciated the staff's welcome. The manager, Fabricio, was particularly attentive to my needs, and I thank him for that. I will be back because it's an excellent hotel, very good value for money, and very well located on Copacabana Beach. Thank you all.

Perfectly located with very friendly and accommodating staff, always ready to help. Great view from the terrace where you can enjoy a snack and/or drinks while taking a dip in the pool.

Cleanliness was a bit lacking in some instances, in the restaurant and terrace.

The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and the level of service was excellent from the second we arrived. The restaurant in particular was the best service I have ever had ! Rooms comfortable and clean. Food amazing with excellent range in restaurant Pool a decent size . Fabulous location.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Really close to copacabana beach and many other attractions such as the night markets.

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Room were a good size and very clean. We paid extra for a sea view which was well worth it to watch the sunrise over Copacabana beach.

The roof top pool boasts gorgeous views, best hotel breakfast I have ever had and all the staff are amazing and really want to make your stay special and smooth. Chairs on the beach are great, food at the hotel and room service was brilliant.

The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Lots of variety with the option of eggs cooked to order. The location was fantastic! Beachfront hotel on Copacabana Beach. I booked a room with an ocean view and it was totally worth it. I saw the sun rise behind Sugarloaf Mountain in the mornings. The rooftop pool and bar were a nice additon to the hotel and great to have drink and food service while admiring the fabulous view. I ate twice at night at the Italian restaurant. It has a very high rating locally and my opinion deserves the rating. Room was confortable with very nice bedding.
