I liked that the bed was comfortable. There was also always detox water at the reception, which I appreciated.

The location was convenient for transport but a bit far from the city center. Breakfast was limited, there were no fruits except for apples.

Overall I would say it was really fine, if you plan to be out on activities for the day and not planning to stay as much at the hostel it’s good enough. I had a mixed 6 (woman only) room & didn’t see the other people that much. The bathrooms were shared as well but also for woman only, must say it was cleaned very well. You should bring some slippers tho! the bed was comfortable and the curtains were light dimming which was perfect. The room has small shelves for ur stuff and something to hang ur jackets. The lockers were spacious enough, I had a backpack + smaller suitcase w me (bring a lock). It’s not that far from the nearest metro or bus station and u have plenty shops in walking distants, as well as supermarkets. The staff was super helpful and very friendly, spoke excellent English. U can get fast to places by taking the train, even tho it looks quiet far on the map.

As a shorter girl it was quite the effort to get myself into bed, I also felt that when other people got into bed (lower half of the bunkbeds) the whole bed was shaking. I needed to pull myself inside while holding the sides of the bed. Which was not nice in the morning. As well for the mirrors in the bathrooms, I could nearly not see myself which was hard with getting ready. It was my first time traveling solo, the area can be quite sketchy in the night I didn’t go out after 9pm, but that’s just me. It’s also dirty outside (trash on the floor and bad smell). The walls of the room could maintain some renovation.. I’m pretty sure there was mold behind me.

Location was good. Close to a metro. Most staff were nice, welcoming and helpful.

The room was way too small for the number of beds they fit inside and there was no adequate ventilation and it seemed like the windows were never opened to bring in any fresh air. So especially at night it got too stuffy.

The staff (very nice) an rooms are fine. The breakfast is beyond tasteful!

All good - no complains.

On the second day, the door would not open anymore. Luckily, the staff and the manager acted quickly and by the end of the afternoon, they were able to force the door open and transfer me to a new room.

There was a smell in the toilets and showers even after they were cleaned.

It was near the metro so inconvenient if you want to visit the touristy spot

The bed C in room 101 is right under a very loud ventilation fan which cannot be turned off and it makes it very hard to sleep comfortably. The hostel should fix the system.

The staff were very cooperative and helping. The room was very good. The only issue I face is the top bed which I was allotted. It was very difficult to go that bed on top as stairs are very narrow

Friendly staff, clean linens, excellent mattress, bed with a curtain for privacy.

The hotel wasn't heated and very cold bathroom. Also was scary to walk back to the hotel in evening. The area didn't look safe. It was also very noisy outside until late at night. The windows were located above the hotel cafe.

Excellent hostel, kept spotlessly clean. The rooms are good with an enclosed, curtain barriered bed. A light and plug in each berth. A small storage square for toiletries. I was lucky in a MALE dormatory, a rarity these days. Had respectful men in with me. The lounge bar area are always fairly busy with clients and locals. Soft and alcoholic drinks available and Croques of various discription. The staff are very lovely and it's a friendly, safe environment. Hostels please note.....more affordable MALE Dormatories please!!!!

Bedding/blanket were murky and dirty. Arrived late in the evening and only staying for a few hours but did not warrant for a dirty bed.

The small pillow provided left my neck in pain. And I didn’t like that during the nights with the DJ, the music was played on every floor via the bathroom speakers. Which were so loud you could hear them through the room doors.

Nice place nice people, bedroom a little bit crowded, but I guess that’s just Paris.

Their shower rooms have plenty of spaces, hanger hooks, and a stool! AC is nice in the night. The toilet is clean. Linens and pillow are very comfortable. Socket, lamp, curtain, and little spaces near the bed. My shared room has lockers, is locked and can be unlocked with their access card. The building has an elevator and restaurant/cafe/bar. 24 hours front desk for checking out.

no kitchen, no fridge. They have a restaurant/cafe/bar like ground floor where everyone is either looking at their computer or phone. It is a little noisy. There is no social interaction with others.

Hostel is located in a nice neighborhood, close to the metro. The staff is great, very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, clean showers. The live music in the evenings and na rooftop with a nice view. Definitely recommend even for longer stays

the communal woman’s bathroom on the 2nd floor was really smelly and upon my arrival, I waited a while to get checked in as there weren’t many staff on.

They have paid lockers in case you want to store your luggage before or after your stay but i think that should be included at least for the day you are leaving. The room I was staying was untidy, dirty plates and beer around. My bed was clean but everything else wasn’t, the smell was awful.

Great location. I loved this area. Fresh fruit market in front of hostel. I liked the staff there. I stayed in a 4-bed unit and it was very cozy. Beds have curtains and I found my room very quiet. The lobby is nice and doubles as a bar/cafe. Roof top is beautiful!

Had to pay for luggage storage which feels annoying. Rooms could have had better ventilation but that's normal for Paris I find. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest but I didn't mind. Just overall feels a bit pricey for a hotel but c'est la vie i guess

Lovely neighborhood with locals of diverse communities around perfect connectivity to all places of importance. Loved the live performances in the week and the staff. Will definitely stay here again.

I never seen the situation when you can't leave your luggage for two hours before check-in without paying for it. And the prices for luggage storage are really expensive. So the first day I had to go for a walk with my suitcase. You have to pay also for towels, lock etc etc. Somebody forgot clothes and a little bag in my locker and I said about it to receptionist, but they just didn't care at all. So after 3 days all this stuff just remains in the room. Check-out is at 11:00, but they started to clean rooms at 10:00, so if you are tired and wanna sleep a little bit more or you have to pack you bags, it's impossible.

The beds were comfortable and I liked the privacy with the curtains, as well as the lockers (don't forget your padlock). It's easily accessible from metro Belleville and there's lots of restaurants and shops around. There's a bedlight and power station.

The breakfast is extremely overpriced for what you get, unless you just want a quick breakfast in the morning without going anywhere. There's no vegan options other than an apple as well. For gluten allergic people you have an apple and some yoghurt/raisins, but not much else. There were cleaners but they were calling while on duty and just swooped the floor with some type of bleach, leaving behind the hairs and nasty's in the toilets and showers. Also there's dirt under the beds that seems old. The rooms are tiny. Also, if you're at the first floor you might be disturbed by the noise at night. Paris is expensive, so it's the cheapest option you get, but there's a lot of room to improve to make the money and experience more worthwile.

Beds were clean and the place overall had a good ambience. Nice thing about the bed is that there is enough space above to sit straight. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was decent. You can get hot water at the reception, but there is no Kitchen. That's a downside. Location wise, it was ok, the metro station was right near the hotel and I took it to commute to different parts of Paris. Just use google maps and check for the metro route. It's easy and convenient. I took the metro at as easrly as 5:30 AM and I felt safe.

The surrounding was a bit sketchy at night. However, it was very safe inside the hostel and there were a handful restaurants (but limited food options) around.

Not only did The People make for a great trip, it was also the atmosphere, the cappuccinos and the croissants, it’s a great location for everything and the area is authentic too. Can’t recommend you highly enough and I’m already stating think about my next trip, thank you again :)

My only dislike and I managed, was the high bunk was a real struggle to get in and out of. You were full the first night and offered to move me for the next whic was kind, next time I will request a lower one for sure.

location is really good but not the best. metro is really close but the area is not really with Paris vibe.

The staff was nice and always willing to help the best they could. A large storage space you could put your valuables in and lock with your own lock. The breakfast was good.

They do not have a laundry room. The room I was in was a little small, though it was manageable. At times it got kind of ripe (smelly) in the room, fortunately, the windows could be opened a crack. The breakfast could have some different things on different days, though it is not that big of a deal. The XL breakfast ended a little early for me (10:00.)

Well designed and organized - comfortable dorms and clean modern bathrooms . Friendly helpful staff and a good vibe in the common space on ground floor and breakfasts/petite Dejeuner popular too .
