The pool by the bay was amazing. The pizzeria made good pizza. Breakfast was good

the room - the balcony's roof was leaking and was wet all the time. the bathroom was leaking, the toilet was not cleaned, soap lying on the floor - when we raised this to the staff - we got no help I asked for some meds but did not get anything from the housekeeping. There was no staff in general in the hotel and the water had not been cleaned around the hotel.

The staff were not friendly, and our experience was disappointing due to several issues. Our booking stated it included a 30-minute free massage for everyone on the reservation. However, when we arrived, the staff seemed unaware of this offer. After some discussion, they only provided us with one massage instead of one per person as advertised. Additionally, our reservation included early check-in, but when we arrived, we were told this was subject to availability, which was not made clear beforehand.

We found cockroaches in the kitchen, deteriorated fridge, one trash can in the bathroom and other hide. We found it the day of checkout. They offer breakfast from 7am. It’s a lie. They arrive at 7 and start service at 8. We had to cruising in our boat and change our schedule to get breakfast and at the end, we got nothing. Personal no friendly

The staff and hotel itself were fabulous, so very lovely, would definitely stay here again.

The food here was awful, everything else, wonderful, so just plan to cook your own food if you stay here.

I have complaints. I was not initially given the room paid for and I was made to seem like I was going to be upgraded but instead I got a worse room, broken Showerhead, broken television, no pot to boil water, etc

At the beakfast the chef mixed the ingredients to our omelets at the breakfast. Me and my wife have asked for omelets with different ingredients.He mixed all the ingredients and he made 2 omelets with a variety of imgredients but not what we have asked for. The extra charges at the final amount to pay are too much!!!

Facilities are showing need for upkeep. The 2bd suite was not probably clean, bathroom fixtures broken, found insect inside the fridge.

Location. How quiet it is.

Breakfast. Tiny portions. You can’t even ask for an extra bread in a rate with breakfast included. Tv is outdated technology with cable box and didn’t work for us. But we enjoyed the views instead.

The infinity pool

It's my 3rd time at this hotel, I also recommended it to many people. Every time there's no hot water in the shower and every time they lie about it and not offering compensation. I won't return, I was a fool for coming back after the 2nd visit. The pizza by the pool is a mini size, you should be ashamed to sell this for a higher price. Beds are super uncomfortable, like concrete.

there is a kids club, 3 restaurants and plenty of green grass for the kids to play. They also have a billiard room/game room and a few bar areas. The view is amazing. The rooms are comfortable. Sad they dont have ANY HOT WATER in the shower.

The services is very poor. One would think at a hotel of this caliber the staff would be accommodating. There were no pool towels at the hotel. The pool boy kept saying they are being laundered. Poor planning and organization on their behalf. Also the Hotel has 3 restaurants. We asked the staff if we could order a pizza for the kids and have it brought over to the ocean club. The waitress said no, and then we asked her if she could just place the order and we would go get it which was about half a block down in the main building. We ended up calling the pizza restaurant and they brought the pizzas over. The hotel has NO HOT WATER. They keep saying its something that is new and they are going to look into why the water is not working. I was waiting and waiting and nothing. I didnt get to shower my kids cuz the water was so cold. Then my friend told me they have stayed at the hotel 2 years in a row and they have NEVER had hot water. Its not a temp thing, its a forever thing. HORRIBLE that this hotel can not get its act together to have hot or warm water for their guests. I was so disappointed as I wanted to give the hotel a good review. I asked them to see if I could get a discount for the trouble and the best they could do was 20$ off.

The location and views

There was no hot water at all in the property!! On investigating this is apparently an ongoing problem that is not divulged when you book / check-in. Overall the hotel is very "tired" with broken shower fittings, no/limited crockery in the kitchenette and in desperate need of an overhaul!

Amazing location and views - infact the location was stunning! Set in a pretty Marina with beautiful boats.

Right from checking in the reception staff was borderline rude and indifferent to our needs, as were there waitiing staff at the bar and the restaurant. The hotel is clearly old and tired and in need of modernisation. The shower was also cold in the morning.

Do not go near the bannister hotel!!!! We booked 2 nights through Booking - it was a nightmare vacation! We were the only guests, the hotel was not ready to accommodate people during the hurricane! Without electricity, water and food for two days! The hotel manager Daniel was not interested in helping or making a refund and either did booking! We suffered and paid them 210 dollars a night!!!!!! All the hotel facilities were closed, water in the room through the electricity from the ceiling, broken doors, a crumbling ceiling and a horrible attitude!!!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from these crooks! And all this and no one is willing to reimburse us!!!!! Save yourself from them!!!!!

We booked a whale tour through the hotel - the boat and amount of people on the boat was not as we were told. It was not a good value compared to other tour offers. We were very disappointed.

First, staff is FANTASTIC! Especially Louis! Breakfast was excellent, although a little slow. Lots of facilities but not in good condition.

The hotel is very tired and rundown. The property is keep as clean as possible, but cushions are in terrible condition, the furniture is also. What food was available was very good , but most things on the menu were not available! The showers leaked all over the floors. I could go on and on, but the staff made our visit wonderful! We had a great time because of them.
