The Colony Hotel Seminyak, Bali

The location close to the beach was short distance. The design of the hotel and pool area. And so close to Kim Soo restaurant. Staff are nice and friendly

It’s not that new as it shows in pictures Location is door to door with a club so was hard to sleep at night it’s like u are above a club. Quality of food breakfast is not wow I felt lack of staff but they did their best to serve in a quick manners. Lack of staff attending at the pool

Very well designed around a great pool. Great breakfast menu and very comfy beds. Good restaurants nearby as well. Staff was very nice and helpful

Fantastic location, 2 min walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. Lovely large, light comfy room, which was very clean and I liked that it had an iron and board available in the room. Bed and pillows were both very comfy. Lovely pool area, staff were very accommodating in helping with sun lounges so we could sit by the pool. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Great little shop/restaurant next door, that offered a great menu. Breakfast was good, I liked that it was cooked to order.

Good breakfast! Also had room service - satay was excellent! Really liked the architecture of the hotel, transported me back to a bygone era when right smacked in Semiyak. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The lobby patio seems somewhat wasted as perhaps more activities could happen out there with better fans and cooling devices and drinks or coffee or even breakfasts.

Probably the best hotel we have stayed at in Bali. Great sized room. Fantastic pool. Staff and facilities. Have stayed at the Seminyak, the W and the Legian and aside from beach side location they are not as h Good.

The only criticism is the kettle in the room takes about 10 mins to boil.

Great location in Seminyak. Wonderful & helpful staff who speak english very well. Property is elegant, love the decor. Reliable wifi. Very nice breakfast buffet. 7-10 mins walking to Seminyak beach & beach clubs, restaurants, shops. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again

Our stay in the Colony hotel was nothing but wonderful. We stayed in another hotel in Seminyak first and passed by the Colony a couple of times and liked the look of it, sometimes the front looks nice and the rest is not that great, but the Colony is charming and elegant from start to finish. You walk into a beautiful lobby, where you are warmly welcomed by the staff. After a couple of sleepless nights due to sound we moved to the Colony and when I told about our previous experience we got an upgrade to a very quiet and beautiful junior suite. The service is excellent with house keeping coming in while we enjoyed breakfast to tidy the room up, replace towels, water etc. and at night to make the room ready for the night again.

Two small recommendations are replacing the coffee machine as the coffee is not that great and on several occasions we waited a bit too long for food that we ordered. Having said that I will definitely be coming back and recommending the hotel to anyone who is looking for an elegant stay in Seminyak.

Beautiful property, staff excellent. Nice pool. Breakfast was the same each day but we were happy with what was offered. Comfortable bed, we had a mattress topper put on and it was perfect.

Unfortunately a night club behind the property has loud music for four hours a night so ask for a quiet room. The manager and other properties are asking for the music to be quietened by 11pm. Don’t not stay because of this, I’m sure it will be dealt with.

The Colony was a gorgeous oasis in busy Seminyak. The decor and facilities were wonderful.

The rooms smelt a little musky, but everything else was lovely.

We loved the small property, it’s coziness and charm. breakfast was excellent. Our room was close to the inviting pool so it was lovely to use it often.

there was a strong smell of still water in the room. Not sure if some burning essential oil may help dissipate the smell. or it needs more airing?

The Hotel is so central to everything and is really lovely. Such friendly and helpful staff. A lovely Hotel to stay and very affordable for what you experience.

The Colony Hotel is like an oasis in the bustle of Seminyak. It's run so well by Sami who is always happy to help with restaurant recommendations and activity ideas. The breakfast served in the restaurant is fresh and tasty. The pool area is very pleasant and provides an opportunity to meet the other guests. We have stayed here twice now and we will be back.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Just the windows have to bee soundproof, at night the disco from next street is very loud. The room smelled strongly with mold.

Location fantastic and rooms really nice. The staff were exceptional - every single one of them - and went above and beyond. The service felt really personal and there was a sense of genuine care about ensuring everything was taken care of. Breakfast was included and was very good.

The choice for breakfast is quite limited

Good location, great personal, and very nice 'happy hour' every day. Also very clean rooms with plenty of water and a quite and peaceful setting during the daytime. Close to all the beaches and within walking distance from the main food road.

Breakfast could have more variety. Sometimes pretty loud music from the cafes nearby

The bed in our room was noisy. The breakfast, although really nice, needed better service from the staff. The coffee machine would break or need more ingredients and used plates weren’t cleaned off the tables.

The hotel is a real blessing in seminyak, beautifully decorated, nice rooms, with super attentive and friendly staff. Tami is an exceptional host and helped me out when I needed help. My jewelry went missing at the Place retreats where I stayed before in seminyak, and as I don’t speak Indonesian she helped with contacting the police and translating. I spoke with other guests at the Colony who told me that they come here every year and I can see why. Will definitely be back! Thank you for this wonderful stay and all the support I got.

Exceptional help from staff. Place is great location clean elegant and rooms beautiful Had an issue with AC but got moved straight away when I mentioned it. I'd like to see owners do something around the pool to make it safer for walking when it's wet either from pool or rain. Bit dodgy nearly did a great backward slide and hit my head on steps. Close call. But I'll be back.
